Wrap Works Mercedes-Benz CL 500 is an exceptional work done by the specialist from the Wrap Works Company in Bergisch Engelskirchen. They have foiled the C215 platform with White Metallic Matt.
Before the process took place, certain design elements seen as a relief to the foliation were glued together. After an emphasis has bee made with acid green accents. The grille is foiled only partially, but also includes an own logo.
Furthermore, the head lights feature lighting capacity of about 5 %. In terms of performance, there has been added a muffler fabricated from stainless steel. The original stock figures of the car are 387 hp (285 kW), 530 Nm (391 lb-ft) torque and top speed of 250 km/h.
After the modification, there is an increase of power done an optimization of the software and resulting in 410 hp (301 kW), 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) torque and were increased to unrealistic top speed of 280 km/h.
Despite the increase of performance, the fuel consumption is reduced only by about 0.4 l/100 km. At last, the Mercedes-Benz was equipped with new 21-inch rims made by Lorinser with tires of following dimensions 255/30 R21 on the front axle and 285/30 R21 mounted on the rear axle respectively.
PP Exclusive created a massive and bulky design of the crown jewel alloy wheel rims for the Mercedes-Benz model series. The refitted CL of the construction series C216 with a 21-inch diameter rim now revolves in the wheel houses of the grand coupé and it does this for the first time.
Furthermore, the rim is an absolute custom-made product. The wheel was built on the front axle in 10.5 x 21 inches with a 4-inch outer rim and comes in combination with Michelin tires of the format 265/30R21. The crown jewel alloy wheel rims revolve in the rear axle in 12 x 21 inches with a 5-inch outer rim and tires of the format 305/25R21.
PP Exclusive offers lowering of the CL. This was done with the utilization of the lowering module that was so effortlessly installed through the plug-and-play method. Moreover, the lowering can be individually adjusted through the steering wheel buttons.
The same crown jewel wheel is also available for CLS C218. This time for the front is used 10.0 x 20 inches with a 3.5-inch rim and 12.0 x 20 inches with a 5.5-inch rim in the rear. PP Exclusive opted for the tires Hankook-Pneus in the formats 255/30R20 and 305/25R20.
In addition, the vehicle is also lowered to the ground with the help of the same lowering module. The SL of the construction series R230 is also fitted with the crown jewel rims and Hankook tires of the same dimensions.
Say hello to the Prior Design BlackEdition widebody aerodynamic kit for the Mercedes-Benz CL… version 2.0. Or as Prior would like to call it – V2. It fits all W216 coupes and to some extent, it acts as a development over the previous one.
Naturally, some of the components are shared with the first project while the new ones are designated by a “BlackEdtitionV2” label. Namely, we are talking about the front bumper which gets two air outlets at the sides and at the back we have a bit more change – the fins on the diffuser are now far more articulated and the rear bumper is also new. As for the other parts, it’s a bit of a de ja vu – a vented hood, flaring wheel arches interjoined by some side skirts and mesh grille inserts. Prior seem to have ditched the air-scoop thingy for which we thank them.
There’s one more thing that we get from the old one as well – the price. This Dura Flex fiber plastic luxury will set you back 12,900 Euros or $16,426. For that kind of money, you can almost by a Peugeot 408 in Russia – spicy. But hey, you do get mounting material and that’s a game changer, right?

In addition, exclusive safety systems are also included: drowsiness detection system ATTENTION ASSIST, PRE-SAFE® automatic emergency braking, Active Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, and Adaptive Highbeam Assist systems. To go even further into details, let’s review the engline range. The current V8 biturbo with a displacement of 4.6 litres and sophisticated spray-guided direct petrol injection system in the CL 500 BlueEFFICIENCY delivers 320 kW (435 hp), provides torque of 700 Nm. More importantly, it offers great fuel efficiency of only 9.5 l/100 km combined; and Co2 emissions of just 224 g/km. The same engine is also used in the CL 500 BlueEFFICIENCY with 4MATIC all-wheel drive. The pinnacle of the engine range is provided by the CL 600 with its astonishing 380 kW (517 hp) 12-cylinder biturbo engine.
Last time we checked, Prior were having some fun with the Mercedes-Benz Roadster SL by sticking their bespoke “Black Edition” body kit on it. Now it is the CL‘s turn to go under the careful knife of Prior Design. The body kit is suitable for all models of the C216 series.
Now, the luxury class coupe is bulky and majestic thanks to a wide body kit that consists of new front mud wings, side skirts, a roof scoop that looks like a mohawk hairpiece and front and rear bumpers. The matte black finish of the car can do nothing but help the aggressive appearance that has taken over baby coupe. At the front we have 10×20” alloy wheels, while at the back an even wider pair (13×20”). They complement the overall look of the kit and also suffocate their sheer vastness.
The Prior Design products are manufactured from Duraflex. Through its excellent surface structure and high level of stability, this high grade material enables easy and cost-effective lacquering. Everything is easy to install yet Prior are willing to help you with the process as well as take orders for a few special items and carbon fiber goodies
For a long time, 700PS barrier was not a challenge for the German tuner Brabus. Now, the tuning specialists will introduce Brabus 800 Coupe , at the 2011 Dubai International Motor Show. The sport luxurious coupe is based on the Mercedes-Benz CL 600. In addition to its unique performance, the two-door car’s most impressive highlights are its exclusive sporty-elegant design and its high-class interior.
The mighty twin-turbo 5.5 litre V12 engine has been reworked to 6.2 liters with the help of a special BRABUS crankshaft with longer stroke, larger cylinder bore and correspondingly larger forged pistons. There are also a high-end turbocharging system, two custom exhaust manifolds and four water-to-air intercoolers.
The result is staggering – 800PS (588 kW) and 1420Nm (1047 lb-ft) of torque, instead of factory’s 517PS (380 kW) and 800Nm (590 lb-ft). All that power is send the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic gearbox. The BRABUS high-performance limited-slip differential with a locking rate of 40% takes care about the traction.
BRABUS 800 Coupe
The performance is spectacular – 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and to 200 km/h in 10.3 seconds. The top speed has to be electronically-limited to 350 km/h (217-mph) as well the torque, which is 1100Nm (811 lb-ft), because the gearbox can’t handle the other 320Nm (236 lb-ft).
Brabus 800 Coupe stands on Monoblock 21-inch wheels, available as Monoblock VI, E or F designs fitted with Continental, Pirelli and YOKOHAMA supply tried and tested high-performance tires in size 265/30 ZR21 in front and size 295/25 ZR21 on the rear axle.
Behind the wheels, there is BRABUS high-performance brake system consisting of 6-piston calipers and vented and cross-drilled discs measuring 405 x 34 mm up front and 4-piston calipers with 380 x 34 mm at the rear.
For better handling and unique stance, the car is lowered by 25 mm (1 inch) thanks to BRABUS ride-height lowering module.
Brabus aerodynamics body kit include front spoiler that attaches to the production fascia, rear spoiler on the trunk lid and a rear fascia insert.
The interior boasts white leather and black Alcantara, each with contrasting seams and diamond-pattern topstitching. There are also a lot carbon-fiber elements and matte surfaces in “checkered flag”. An ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel is also part of the extraordinary BRABUS interior refinement as are scuff plates with backlit BRABUS logo, and aluminum pedals, foot rest and shifter.
