Carlsson C25 Super GT Limited Edition

The Carlsson C25 is back to appear as a limited edition. And when we say limited, we mean only 7 numbered examples delivered delivered exclusively for the Chinese market. Numbers one to three and five to seven have already been pre-ordered. The idea behind this new incarnation is lightness, rigidity and handling for even more adrenaline packed action. Carlsson have summed up everything behind the term Super GT

So, what’s new about this one? Well, the engineers at Carlsson have managed to lose 180 kg of curb weight and still keep the engine. The overall carbon-fiber body might have something to do with that. Other than that, we have some minor face lifting at the front, some botox at the back and a newly styled rear window. Each Super GT will be customized in accordance with the buyer’s preferences – think in terms of color combinations and interior design.

The non-negotiable features are the really tasty ones – a 450 hp V8, an iPhone adjustable C-Tronic Suspension and a set of aluminum exhaust tips. As an option, the brakes can be of a temperature efficient, fading resistant composite.

The “number 1” Carlsson C25 Limited has already been built and will be airlifted to Shanghai in the coming days. It’s just a pity that it won’t make the journey on land with the Gut Wiesenhof in Merzig, Germany as a starting point. The other ones are yet to be hand-made but in an year’s time everything should be sold out. The price: 4,000,000 Chinese yuan which is around roughly $628,536.

2012 Mazda2 Venture Edition Goes On Sale

The new 2012 Mazda2 Venture Edition is based on the best-selling five-door hatchback Tamura model. It now comes with enhanced technologies and a high-quality cabin feel.

The redesigned model features several new additional items of equipment and a choice of six special exterior colours, two of which are unique: Dolphin Grey and Burgundy Red.

What is more, the Venture Edition features 16-inch gunmetal alloy wheels, sports styling kit, front fog lamps, privacy glass and a rear bumper sports trim.

The interior is also modified, and includes new technologies as well. For instance such are the Sanyo TomTom navigation system with a 5.8-inch touch screen, integrated Bluetooth® hands-free kit, climate control air-conditioning and electric rear windows.

Furthermore the Venture Edition model benefits from the standard equipment which includes plenty of features like: front, side and curtain airbags, remote central locking and dead locks, driver’s seat height adjustment, leather steering wheel with audio controls, CD radio with Auxiliary jack and four speakers, 60/40 split folding rear seats and a Thatcham Category 1 alarm.

Next to be mentioned is that the vehicle has a lightweight construction. This contributes to excellent fuel economy and remarkable performance.

The new 2012 Venture Edition also stands out with its exceptional handling and driving dynamics.

The model is also to offer a stiff bodyshell, softer mountings for the rear trailing arms and re-tuned rear dampers.

2012 Audi A1 Quattro Limited Edition

The highly exclusive 256PS 2012 Audi A1 Quattro Limited Edition will be launched on the UK market with the staring price £41 020. Form this limited edition will be released only limited quota of just nineteen left-hand-drive examples. It will officially be available to order in early March. More than 600 components have been reworked or replaced in the design of the new A1 Quattro. Most of ht attention has been put on the engine. The turbocharged and directly injected 2.0-litre four-cylinder delivers specially tuned 256PS (188 kW) output at 6,000rpm, and its punchy 350Nm (258 lb-ft) torque peak between 2,500 and 4,500rpm. This means that the acceleration of the A1 Quattro from 0 to 100 km/h takes only 5.7 seconds. The top speed is 152mph (255 km/h), while also returning up to 32.8mpg according to the combined cycle test. In details, this extreme power is channelled through a quick-shifting six-speed manual transmission to the Quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. In addition the heart of this system is an electronically controlled, hydraulically actuated multi-plate clutch whose package of plates rotates in an oil bath. The clutch is mounted on the rear axle, thus making the vehicle weighing less. The precision of the handling is also improved by an XDS selective differential lock and a specially configured Electronic Stability Program (ESP) which offers a sport mode with a higher threshold for intervention and can be switched off entirely for track use. Moreover, the chassis of the Audi A1 has responsive and efficient electrohydraulic power steering with a direct 14.8:1 steering ratio. The ventilated disc brakes with high performance 312mm front discs complement this balance configuration.

Furthermore, the A1 has unique looks. It carries a Glacier White metallic paint, and in addition sits on Glacier White 18-inch turbine design alloy wheels. The high-gloss black roof complete with prominent spoiler and deep-set bumpers with 100-millimetre tailpipes at the rear. The Quattro badges on the grille, roof arch and rear hatch further enhance the sporty look. In contrast, the interior of the vehicle is predominantly black. Multi-adjustable Silk Nappa leather is used for the sport seats with their pronounced bolsters, integrated head restraints, red stitching and Quattro insignias. In addition, the interior design also includes white needles, the red-faced rev counter and the flat-bottomed multi-function sports steering wheel with contrasting red stitching and an inset limited edition plaque.

As a Limited Edition, indeed a very special one, the Quattro is going to be equipped with full complement of equipment, which if added to a standard series production A1 would boost its price by over £11,000. There has been included xenon plus headlights, the high-beam assistant, adaptive brake lights, an LED interior lighting package, light and rain sensors, the acoustic rear parking system, automatic air conditioning, a storage package, the convenience key and cruise control. Of course, A1 got all the latest innovative technologies concerning online services and infotainment technologies.

Audi A1 Quattro is inbound – only nineteen examples of the high performance, left-hand-drive-only A1 Quattro are destined for the UK. The price tag is £41 020.

2012 Citroen DS4 Just Mat Limited Edition

2012 Citroen DS4 Just Mat is the first limited series based on the second model in the DS model line. This is a limited edition version which, to be more precise comes, nine months after the official release of the CITROËN DS4. Moreover it is based on the Sport Chic finish with an original body colour, named Hickory Mat Brown.

In particular, the DS4 was launched last year in May 2011 and since then got circa 30,000 orders. It is undeniably an appealing raised four-door coupé, which combines the elegance and compactness of the coupe, with the versatility and space of a compact saloon. The new limited series are based on the same approach; however they are additionally based on the Sport Chic trim. Like the DS3 Matière Grise and DS3 Série Noire limited versions, the new 2012 CITROËN DS4 Just MAt has now the same Hickory Mat Brown bodywork, with colour-coordinated door rubbing strips and exterior door mirror housings. This limited edition sits on 19” Cairns alloy wheels and has xenon dual-function directional headlights.

The limited series of 2012 Citroen DS4 Just Mat will be produced in only 500 units. This automatically leads to the consequence that there is also a lot of attention put in the interior of the car. The interior design features leather Club Habana upholstery, including the ‘watch bracelet’, which is a design specific to the DS line. In addition, the vehicle gains the eMyWay navigation system.

The CITROËN DS4 Just Mat ships with the THP 200 or HDi 160 engine, mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Prices start at €34,950.

Kahn Design Imperial Blue Cosworth Range Rover

As you see this iconic Range Rover received and upgraded appeal from Kahn Design. This was made through the feature of the Cosworth‘s engineering with quintessential British. This Imperial blue Cosworth Range Rover Edition now has even more style, comfort and luxury. It is now boosted with wide vented front and rear wheel arches with integrated LED running lights in the front air dams, brake calipers finished in liquid gold, RS front grille with 3D mesh, exhaust side vents, Cosworth branding, matt pearl grey or matt black paint detailing (door handles), side vents, grille surround and Cosworth machined and vented aluminum foot pedals.

Next to the powerful Cosworth engine enhancement, there is also featured a combination of alterations to the supercharger and ECU programmingq, which are taking effect as an even more rapid Range Rover. Next to be mentioned are those great wheels on which the Rover sits – namely 22″ Kahn RS wheels. The RS wheels are synonymous with elegance and innovation due to their simple clean lines, soft organic surfaces on the edge of the spoke and a purposeful mechanical centre.

2012 SsangYong Korando LE – Price £17 995

SsangYong is launching a limited edition of its recently introduced Korando crossover and it is named 2012 SsangYong Korando LE. What is new here is that it sits on special 18 inch alloy wheels. In addition it has a rear spoiler and privacy glass; it also includes many luxury touches in the interior, for example: heated front seats, leather covered steering wheel and gear shift. There is also cruise control and rear parking sensors which will bring even more safety and convenience to the customers. This version of the vehicle was styled by Italian car designer Giorgetto Giugiaro of Ital Design. More importantly, it has a price which starts from just £17 995.

Furthermore the Korando LE is available in three distinctive colours: Grand White (which comes as a standard), metallic Vitamin Red or Space Black. The crossover is powered by an advanced 173bhp (127 kW) 2.0 litre four cylinder turbo diesel engine, which produces the incredible 360Nm (266 lb.-ft.) of torque. The CO2 emissions here go 157g/km. Lotus Evora GTE Limited Edition

Lotus has revealed Evora GTE Limited Edition at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.

It is powered by a 3.5 liter V6 with 444PS (327 kW), which is mated to a sequential AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) racing gearbox. The car also boasts lightweight, forged alloy rims with central locking fitted with Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires.

Lotus also cut the overall weight with 105 kg (227 lbs) over the standard Evora model.

The interior comes with lightweight Recaro seats made of carbon. There are also some other carbon elements and leather upholstery.

“The response to this model in China has been so incredible, within days we had sold out with 114 orders. In response we decided that the only logical step from a business perspective was to increase production and widen our reach.”, said Group Lotus CEO Dany Bahar.

“What is unique about this car, is not just that it’s a serious race car – it’s a serious car. People get so excited when they see and especially hear it for the first time. It’s a very special car and will appeal to a very special type of driver – and they won’t be disappointed!”, he fisnihed.

Peugeot 508 RXH Limited Edition

Peugeot 508 RXH will be available as Limited Edition model, which will hit the market in 2012. The Peugeot 508 RXH is a distinctive vehicle characterised by its HYbrid4 powertrain and high specification, as Peugeot continues its upmarket trend.

The Diesel-electric hybrid powertrain combines highly effective 2.0-litre HDi FAP diesel engine with 163BHP and 37BHP electric motor driving at the rear axle.

The 508 RXH Limited Edition comes with Copper metallic paintwork, Lama leather and Alcantara upholstery, Peugeot Open & Go system, Xenon headlamps, motorised tailgate and electric powered, heated and memory position seats. Nissan Juke Kuro Limited Edition

Nissan has announced the new special edition of Juke. The model has a very strange name – Kuro and only 600 units will be produced for the UK. In case, you have some doubts, “Kuro” means “black” in Japanese and the Juke will get a black pearl finish.

The special edition model is based on the top-of-the-range Tekna grade and comes with ten-spoke 17” alloys in gloss black, black door mirrors and door handles.

The Kuro is available with a choice of two metallic paint finishes which could complement the contents of any wardrobe: Pearl Black or Force Red.

The full range of Juke engine options is available with the Kuro, starting with a 1.6-litre petrol priced at £17 395. The powerful 190PS turbocharged DIG-T is available for £18,995.

The Kuro is available to order now, with customer deliveries expected to start on 1 October 2011.

Hyundai Genesis Coupe GT Limited Edition

Hyundai-Genesis-Coupe-GT-Limited-Edition-thumb Hyundai will hit the German market with limited edition Genesis Coupe GT. The vehicle was inspired by the Hyundai Schuhmann Motor Sport Team. They have recently raced at the 24-hr endurance race at the Nurburgring.

Hyundai Genesis Coupe GT is powered by the well-known 3.8 liter V6 with 303 PS (223 kW) and 361 Nm (266 lb-ft) of torque. 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds and a top speed of 240 km/h (149 mph). Really, not impressive results, but the car is fast enough to make you smile behind the steering wheel.

The sound of the engine is brutal, because of the stainless-steel sport exhaust system with quad pipes at the rear.

Hyundai Genesis Coupe GT Limited Edition sits 30 mm lower to the ground on 19” light-alloy OZ Ultraleggera alloys in Matt Graphite Silver fitted with Dunlop Sport Maxx GT tires.

Only 50 units will be produced exclusively for the German market. The price tag is €41 990.

Mazda MX-5 Sport Black Limited Edition Roadster Coupe

Mazda has announced MX-5 Sport Black Limited Edition Roadster Coupe following the success of the 850kg MX-5 GT race car.

Available from mid-July, the Mazda MX-5 Sport Black is distinguished by unique paint finishes and an enhanced specification, offering more for a lower price than the car it’s based on.

The exterior boasts a Brilliant Black powered retractable hard-top, this is in contrast with the choice of bodywork colours – Spirited Green metallic, Crystal White Pearlescent and Velocity Red mica. There is also a set of dark gun metal 17” alloy wheels.

The interior comes with black leather upholstery with contrasting “sand” colour stitching, Piano Black steering wheel and deco panel, and unique “Black Limited Edition” exterior badging, uniquely numbered interior plaque and Limited Edition floor mats.

The MX-5 Sport Black features as standard climate control AC, a premium Bose audio system, an integrated hands-free Bluetooth system, cruise control and front fog lights.

Only 500 unit of MX-5 Sport Black Limited Edition Roadster Coupe will be produced. The price tag is £22 995 (OTR).

Audi R8 V8 Limited Edition

Audi has announced the R8 V8 Limited Edition to celebrate their 10^th victory at Le Mans 24 hours. The first victory was back in 2000, when the R8 sports prototype made it first across the final. The new feature-rich special edition road car is based on the hugely successful R8 V8 Coupe. There will be just 100 units specially created for the UK market.

The Limited Edition gets an exclusive titanium effect paint finish, Titanium finish 19” 5-arm double-spoke Y design alloy wheels fitted with ultra-performance tires. There are also red brake calipers and an optional Carbon Package consisting of carbon sigma sideblades, door mirrors, door sill trims and an engine bay surround frame.

The interior boasts Black Fine Nappa Leather-upholstered seats and headrests as weel as in crimson red trim accents.

Audi R8 V8 Limited Edition is powered by a mid-mounted 4.2 litre eight-cylinder FSI engine with 430P. 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.6 seconds in both manual and R tronic automated manual versions. The top speed is 301 km/h (187 mph). The red line – 8250 RPM.

Audi R8 V8 Limited Edition will be available to order from July. The price is as brutal as the car itself – £93 935 OTR.
