  • Lexus Introduces New Turbo Engine in Lexus NX 200t

    When talking about innovative technology and cutting-edge performance, Lexus sometimes manages to fit in. With their soon – to – be – launched first ever turbocharged petrol engine in the NX small SUV, the automaker is setting stronger values in the segment. People who appreciate performance definitely will be made happier!

    New performance qualities are brought to Lexus NX range thanks to the all-new 175 kW engine. The models also benefit from a power and equipment improvements which add some really notable highlights to the small and medium premium SUVs.

    The NX 200t Line, which is already on sale, starts with the Luxury model priced at $52,500for the two-wheel-drive version, while the all-wheel-drive Luxury models cost $57,000.

    For the price of $63,500 Lexus NX 200t F Sport receives an extensive pack of goodies which includes: Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS), 360-degree panoramic monitor, blind spot monitor, front and rear performance dampers. Additionally, there is rear cross-traffic alert, as well as LED headlamps, wireless phone charger, 10-way adjustable power front seats with driver memory, heated and cooled front seats. The car moves on F Sport 18-inch alloy wheels while also taking advantage of attractive exterior and leather-accented interior design.

    There are two enhancement packs for F Sport versions too. The first one is comprised of moon roof and 14-speaker Mark Levinson Audio system.   • 2015 Lexus NX 200t Benefiting From a New 2.0-liter Turbocharged Engine

    Lexus is stepping beyond any boundaries and is bravely moving forward like no other crossover until this very day. The new Lexus NX 200t F Sport will be the first lucky one to be equipped with the automaker‘s new 2.0-liter turbocharged engine which will allow the vehicle to overcome all kinds of urban challenges that stay between the car and its final destination.

    Developed in-house, the 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine with direct injection pushes out 235 HP (175 kW) between 4,800 and 5,600 rpm, with a maximum torque of 350 Nm delivered at 1,650 rpm. Official combined cycle figures for CO2 emissions and fuel consumption are 183 g/km and 35.8 mpg respectively. The 1,998cc unit is bolted to a brand-new six-speed automatic transmission with a Drive Mode Select system. Cornering stability and traction are maximized thanks to the Dynamic Torque Control all-wheel drive system. All of a sudden, it’s got all the drama u need in a car of this type!

    The NX 200t F Sport’s exterior puts emphasis on the sporty nature of the crossover due to its well-crafted edgy lines of the body. The large spindle grille with a mesh pattern includes the explicit Lexus F-motif, and a deeper bumper with a metallic-coated lower section. Also, the door mirrors with a black finish and the F Sport 18-inch, 10-spoke alloys which have a two-tone black and machined silver finish contribute to the powerful stance of the new NX. In addition to this, the wheels are shod with 225/60R18 tires. The refined headlights with LED high and low beam functions add a final tone to the Lexus‘ new model.

    There are eight different color options, including new Sonic White, plus Sonic Titanium, Mercury Grey, Satin Silver, Celestial Black, Mesa Red, Ultra Blue and Velvet Black.

    In terms of the interior, the 200t F Sport features heated electric leather front seats with lumbar support, standard-fit leather upholstery available in black or Dark Rose exclusively. Non-slip aluminium sports pedals, driver’s foot brace, and F-Sport steering wheel wrapped in grippy perforated leather provide with a stylish and luxurious sentiment.

    2015 Lexus NX 200t costs £38,095 on the road with first customer deliveries beginning in March.

  • Custom Lexus NX 200t F SPORT also Starring at SEMA

The ban is obviously making a furore at SEMA show, because it has just released additional information on two other models that are currently under the spotlight at the event. We are speaking about the NX 200t F SPORT made by 360 Elite Motorworks and the Instabuilt RC F by VIP Auto Salon. The NX model of choice is of course the 200t Sport, which is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine.

    In addition, the car features unique tweaks such as the Artisan Spirits aerodynamic kit. It includes front lip, front bumper LED attachment, rocker panels, rear diffuser and trunk spoiler. As you can see, the paint isn’t the production one. In the case of this NX, the Foreign Auto Body studio has created a specific paint scheme called Molten Pearl.

    21 inch HRE P104 forged monoblok wheels in gloss black fitted with Toyo Proxes T1R Sport tires as well as the new front and rear fender flares is what rounds-out this exclusive SEMA-built project.

    Next, the Instabuilt RC F by VIP Auto Salon adds Lexon Exclusive Japan kit, which comprises of a front and lip spoiler, and side Steps. Here the paint is also untraditional and is called Oracle 970RA Seafoam. This RC F runs on 20 inch Vossen VPS 3101 forged monoblock wheels coupled with Nitto Invo low profile tyres.

    Behind the spokes of the wheels there is a Brembo GT brake system, featuring front: 6-piston 405 x 34mm (16”) 2-piece discs and rear 345 x 28mm (13.6”) 2-piece disc upgrade. The coilovers are delivered by RSR Sports-I, while the exhaust system with integration system & N1 Evolution-X as well as the power intake – by Apex.

    Inside, this Lexus gets Sabelt SPS bucket seat, custom steering wheel with Alacantara grips, carbon fiber and Seafoam accents, unique paneling with Seafoam accents as well as Madico CH50 window film installed by STM.
