Lexus Uses Revised Pricing Structure for Key Model Lines

Lexus models from the CT, IS, ES, GS, LS, RX and LX become a real bargain now thanks to the removal of the existing five per cent import duty. After the implementation of Australia’s most recent trade agreement with Japan, the automaker has introduced lower prices for its leading model lines which are mentioned above.

The revised price tags have already taken effect and now customers can buy the new Lexus NX compact SUV and Lexus RC coupe models for less money than before. For example, the retail price reduction is between $2,000 on Lexus CT 200h premium hybrid hatch and $8,600 on Lexus LS limousine. This pricing structure is really an opportunity which will open many (cars’) doors for more people who want to have that unique Lexus experience.

Commenting on this event, Lexus Australia chief executive Sean Hanley said that; “In recent times we have introduced dynamic new models that offer progressive design and performance in NX and RC,” and continued; “Now we can offer our existing model lines with even more competitive pricing to allow more customers to experience the vast benefits of Lexus ownership.”

Lexus Shows-Off with First Two-Tone Model

Lexus is expanding its CT 200h line-up with the Advance Plus model. It is based on the Advance grade but adds little more exquisiteness. Most importantly, this model makes history because this is the first Lexus with a two-tone paint finish. Precisely, one can choose metallic paint, or a contrasting Velvet Black roof with Fuji Red, Ultra Blue, Sonic White or Sonic Titanium body. This is also the first CT model which adopts the new Sonic Titanium finish. We’ve seen this shade on the NX 300h crossover.

CT Advance Plus will also make another first: it will be the only version available in Celestial Black. Other highlights except for the new paint finish include the F Sport roof spoiler and brand new 17-inch alloy wheels in dark silver as well as the exclusive and a sunroof. Inside, the cabin is adorned by seats in fabric and Tahara upholstery.

The optional features include front and rear parking sensors, easy keyless entry and cruise control. There are also offered heated front seats and Lexus Navigation system with Remote Dial control.

Advance Plus’s style and equipment is further strengthened by company’s quality and reliability of its hybrid system. It delivers CO2 emissions figures of 88g/km and also good fuel economy – combined cycle consumption of 78.5 mpg.

All of this is supported by the hybrid system’s ability to maximize the utilization of its electric motor. For instance, when driving in slow-moving city traffic, the car switches automatically to its EV mode.

Lexus CT 200h Advance Plus is currently on sale in the United Kingdom and has a starting price of £25,495.

Lexus CT 200h Range: Luxury, F Sport And Sports Luxury

The new Lexus CT 200h range includes three trims: Luxury, F Sport and Sports Luxury. The brand decided to take down the previous Prestige variant. All models however are equipped as a standard with greater specification and on no additional rise in the price.

What is more, the new models are also getting major visual and technical upgrades, including new exterior styling, alloy wheels, slimline navigation or display screen, new shift lever, IS-style steering wheel and upgrades to the vehicle’s chassis and suspension.

As an option on some trims and as a standard on others, Lexus offers connected mobility solution Enform, LED fog lamps, Active Cruise Control (ACC) with Pre-Collision Safety System (PCS) and new exterior and interior colors schemes.

Starting with the Luxury variant, it now boasts reverse camera, Lexus display audio with 10 speakers, rotary-style Lexus Remote Touch controller and rain-sensing wipers. Available here are four enhancement packs which are listed below.

Next, the F Sport models get wide-ranging improvements such as unique black roof, all-new larger rear spoiler and Enform as standard. Some of the available features here include moonroof, parking sonar, Mark Levinson audio, PCS, ACC and smart card key.

At the top of the range is positioned the Sports Luxury model that benefits from LED headlamps and fog lamps, new Shimamoku trim and privacy glass as standard.

2014 Lexus CT 200h – Price £20,995

Lexus UK has announced the pricing of the 2014 CT 200h, which starts at just £20,995 for the entry level S model. This is a a £1,000 reduction compared to the previous model.

2014 Lexus CT 200h boasts a new class-leading low of 82g/km for the S version and an incredible combined cycle consumption of 78.5 mpg US. Full details of the across-the-board improvements to the CT 200h will be revealed soon.

The current range of six model grades – S, SE, Advance, Luxury, F Sport and Premier – is retained, with the addition of some new equipment features and options.

At the heart of the range the Advance model benefits from a comprehensive upgrade that introduces parking sensors, heated front seats and the new, fully integrated Lexus Navigation system as standard. This wealth of new features it provided with no increase in the model’s on-the-road price.

Elsewhere in the CT 200h line-up a GPS-controlled clock is provided on higher grade models and the Lexus Navigation package is offered as an alternative to the established Premium system (standard on the Advance, as detailed above). Additional features for the Premier grade include new aluminium scuff plates and LED front fog lamps.

The 2014 CT 200h is available to order now with first deliveries in March

2014 Lexus CT 200h Goes On Sale In January

2014 Lexus CT 200h compact luxury hybrid is ready to go on sale and to offer its customers revised exterior and updated features. What is more, the 2014 CT 200h will be also equipped with a lot of additional standard and updated features.

The customers will appreciate to see that the car will return an estimated fuel economy of 43 MPG city and 40 MPG highway (42 MPG combined). For the next model year, the CT gets a fresh, sporty look with a revised front fascia.

The latter includes Lexus spindle grille, new front bumper, LED daytime running lights and updated fog lamp surrounds. In addition, the car will run on brand new five-spoke 17-inch wheels and will also sport new rear bumpers, LED rear license plate lighting, larger rear spoiler (3 cm), aero-stabilizing fins, shark fin antenna and scratch-resistant clear coat.

In the interior the designers at Lexus have included a thinner Display Audio (DA)/Navigation screen which features the next generation multimedia system. What is more, the occupants of the car will enjoy to be surrounded by standard six-speaker and premium 10-speaker audio systems which now have improved design.

As a standard there has been included also redesigned leather shift knob and sliding sun visors, while the DA and navigation get Bluetooth 3.0 and dual USB. Another redesigned feature in the interior is the steering wheel. The metallic interior ornamentation enhances the luxurious cabin.

Not only the standard equipment has been improved here but also the trim choices via the addition of Parchment NuLuxe and perforated Flaxen leather. 2014 CT also receives a new exterior color called Redline, which includes a highly scratch resistant self-restoring coat.

2014 CT 200h F SPORT will also be revised and will ride on newly designed 17-inch 5-twin spoke alloy wheels with two-tone graphite and machine finish. Other enhancements include front bumper with F SPORT mesh grille, black contrast roof, new rear spoiler with two large air ducts, and mesh fog lamp inserts, black surround, F SPORT exterior badging and two new unique exterior colors: Ultra White and Ultra Sonic Blue Mica.

CT 200h will be powered by a 1.8-liter in-line four-cylinder gas engine which works together with a 650 Volt motor/generator. Both deliver a combined output of 134 horsepower (99 kW). The powertrain is mated to an Electronically Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (E-CVT).

2014 Lexus CT 200h has a starting price of $32,050 USD and will go on sale in late January or early February.

2013 Lexus CT 200h – Pricing Announced

The pricing of the luxury edition 2013 Lexus has CT 200h was just announced along with a new entry range – S grade, to the range. This makes the CT 200h accessible to even more customers, however it does not saves from luxury, sophistication and advanced technologies.

Some of the new additions are the new 15-inch five-spoke alloy wheels and a larger rear spoiler. Thanks to them this Lexus model achieves lower CO2 emissions of just 87g/km. In fact the entire range has been thoroughly revised for 2013.

Optional equipment is available as well. For example, such one is the satellite navigation system and it now comes with a DAB digital tuner and single-disc DVD player.

Lexus CT 200h is the safest small car according to Forbes

Lexus CT 200h, which is a luxury hybrid hatch, has just received very prominent award given by the respected American business magazine “Forbes”. It is crowned by it as “The Safest Small Cars guide for 2012”. Lexus wins three prestigious Intellichoice awards

Lexus has achieved a great success at this year’s prestigious Intellichoice awards, continuing the tradition and winning in three categories in the 2012 Best Overall Value of the Year (BOVY) section. Lexus CT 200h and Lexus RX 350 were recognized as value leaders in their respective segments. In addition the new CT 200h luxury hybrid hatch won the Premium Compact Passenger Car category. Moreover this same model won its class at 2011 Australia’s Best Car awards. Kylie Minogue and the Lexus CT 200h

The personal car of Kylie Minogue – Lexus CT 200h was sold for £29,000 for the NSPCC as the star item in a fund-raising auction for the charity’s helpline.

“I would just like to say a huge thank you to the generous bidder who bought my personalised Lexus CT 200h, which I have been driving around for the past year.”, said Kylie.

“We were delighted to team up with Kylie Minogue to donate a Lexus CT 200h to the auction. Kylie, who is the face of the Lexus CT 200h, has been driving the car throughout 2011 so it really is a unique prize, and I’m delighted it has raised so much money for the NSPCC.”, added Richard Balshaw, Lexus Director.

The special vehicle was used by the singer as her day-to-day transport and this special association was marked by the addition of personalised headrests with Kylie’s signature picked out in the upholstery stitching.

The CT 200h is powered by a 1.8 litre VVT-I four-cylinder petrol engine with 99PS (73kW) and 142Nm (105 lb-ft) of torque. Tuned Lexus car at 2011 SEMA show

Lexus are getting ready for this year’s SEMA Show, which will be held in Las Vegas next week. For its fifth appearance at the show, Lexus is presenting nine cars, three of them special commissions that explore the potential for more extreme styling and performance.

The first one is a GS F-Sport by Five Axis finished in Glacier White with Slate Gray accents. It features a bespoke widebody conversion, a custom-built twin-tailpipe exhaust and AirRunner TC-5 air suspension. The flared wheelarches house FIVE:AD S5:F alloys and a Stop Tech Big Brake kit is fitted.

The second is also tuned by Five Axis – CT 200h. The hybrid has a widebody conversion, a JDSU Dark Passage paint finish and a TEIN performance suspension system. The interior boasts seats that have laser etched inserts in UltraSuede, a synthetic microfibre material from EcoDesign and an illuminated headlining, also finished in UltraSuede. The upholstery has been created by California specialist Turinmodel. This one-off low-riding CT 200h has custom FIVE:AD 19” forged wheels and a Stop Tech braking system.

Vip Auto Salon will exhibit IS Coupe-Cabriolet with a nice Chameleon paint finish by K&W and a carbon fibre body kit and bonnet. The car also gains a high performance exhaust, lowered springs, Bilstein shocks and F Sport 19” full-faced forged alloy wheels. A Power Enterprise Rotex Supercharger kit by Apexi.

Top Stitch has created special seat inserts for the show car, and even the lighting has been customised, with high-intensity discharge fog lights and LED running lights.

Lexus F-Sport models will be also at the 2011 SEMA. All visitors will be able to see the all new GS F-Sport for the first time.

2012 Lexus Special Edition Models: LS 460, ES 350 and CT 200h

Lexus has introduced three new special edition models for the upcoming 2012 – LS 460, ES 350 and CT 200h.

The small 2012 CT 200h F Sport Special Edition comes with an F-sport suspension and nice interior featuring Ocean Blue NuLuxe seats. It also boasts some exterior improvements like a rear spoiler and a mesh grille. The price is $37 995 and only 900 units will be produced.

The bigger ES 350 Touring Edition can be ordered in two colors: Stargazer Black and Starfire Pearl. It stands on 17” ten-spoke rims in Liquid Graphite paint finish. The interior features saddle-tan leather seats with a wood and leather finish for the steering wheel and gear shifter. 2000 units will be available as each is priced at $40 475.

Finally, the luxurious LS 460 Sport Special Edition is coming with enormous 19” ten-spoke alloy wheels fitted with low profile tires. The interior boasts two-tone finish in black and topaz beige with contrasting stitches. The production is just 250 units and the price is a lot higher – $77 000.
