  • Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 Gets Numerous Updates for MY2016

Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 Front ViewLamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 has received a facelift for 2016 model year that focuses on lower fuel consumption and emissions, more luxury and even better drivability. After the Huracan was successfully introduced to the market in 2014, Lamborghini obviously thinks that it is time to update it. The good news is that despite the applied changes, there is no difference in the price. It remains 169.500 Euros.

Both the Huracán coupé and Spyder variants will include as a standard cylinder deactivation to boost engine efficiency. This is the first time when a function like this is applied to a naturally aspirated V10 engine. How does it work? If the engine’s full capacity is not required, five of the ten cylinders are temporarily deactivated by switching off one cylinder bank. When acceleration is demanded, the system switches back to ten-cylinder mode. The result is reduced fuel consumption and CO2 minimized to 283 g/km.

Lamborghini Ad Personam has been also upgraded and it now features various exterior options including heritage colors and matt paints. In addition, the options program has been extended and it now includes the available Lamborghini’s Sensonum audio system that comes with 390 Watts RMS, with a ten-channel amplifier and a range of ten loudspeakers in hexagonal-shaped grilles and the exclusive Sensonum badge.

Options like the sports exhaust system, LED lighting in the engine compartment in combination with transparent engine bonnet and carbon fiber engine compartment, Cruise Control and travel pack provides with storage nets front and rear, an additional 12V lighter and cup holders, can all be specified in the available options list.

  • What Makes Klässen iD Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 So Stylish?

Klässen iD Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 Front ViewLamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 is one of the top cars out there and it is always nice to see when there are some custom projects involving its presence. Even the small changes are making an impression when it comes to stylish choices and good combinations. For this reason we decided to feature a project today that involves a slightly modified Lambo.

So, this time the customization specialists are those at Klässen iD. As company’s representatives say, Klässen iD was founded by enthusiasts who dreamt of manufacturing innovative forged monoblock and multi-piece wheels. Having decades of experience, the experts have created one of the best wheel-designs out there. And this is clearly visible through this Lamborghini, which looks amazing.

    Born for Competition

We can’t argue that the Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 is born for competition, right? For this reason, Klässen iD has given its special Competition Series wheels, called M10R, and the Huracan is now proudly rolling on them. The dimensions at the front and rear are 20×9 and 21×12, respectively.

In fact, these alloys have been specifically machined for the Huracan. The process which the specialists are using allow for a custom width and offset, and therefore for more individual appeal. In addition, the wheels look fantastic in this Piano Black finish that perfectly contrasts the poison green exterior color of the Lambo.

    More Power?

Klässen iD Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 Upper View

Since Klässen iD is a company which puts an emphasis mainly on wheels, the car did not receive any other changes, including the engine. This means that the 5.2 liter V10 keeps its production 610 horsepower (448 kW) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque.

The engine is linked to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission and an all-wheel drive system. Of course, this will still allow Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 to cover the 0-100 km/h acceleration sprint in 3.2 seconds, and the 0-200 km/h in 9.9 seconds, running after a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph).

Although, this version of the Huracan can not show more horsepower or faster performance, it is still an example, how cool it could look with minimum changes. There is also a video, which Klässen iD has released next to the very cool photos you can view in our gallery below.

  • Underground Racing Shows-Off With Twin Turbo Lamborghini TT Huracan

Underground-Racing-Lamborghini-TT-Huracan-651Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 is the latest car released by the emblematic Italian brand. Since it was released almost a year ago it has been the main topic among all sports cars enthusiasts, because the automaker has once again raised the bar with this creation. Huracán LP 610-4 is hidden behind the exceptional looks, but more importantly, behind the appearance lies a variety of new technology used. Such are the AWD system wth electronically controlled front differential similar to this one of the Aventador, electro-mechanical power steering (EPS) and dynamic steering (LDS).

The Huracan is powered by a 5.2 liter naturally aspirated V10 engine which produces 610 horsepower (449 kW) at 8,250RPM and 560 Nm (415 lb-ft) of torque at 6,500RPM. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual clutch LDF transmission sending the power to a fully electronically controlled four-wheel drive system.

The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is covered in 3.2 seconds, while this from 0 to 193 km/h – in 9.9 seconds. The engine and new transmission are combined with the high definition instrument displays and awesome interior.

And through this year of Huracan existence, we have seen many tunings on the Huracan, and here we are reviewing another on, which we think is worth the attention. Why? Simply because it has made the car even better!

Underground Racing has developed the very first Twin Turbo Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4. Despite the tuners have already successfully conducted the preliminary testing, there are still no technical details about the car.

What we have understood so far is that the car will use a JRR MoTeC M1 electronics and firmware, and will be snapping through the gears of the DCT transmission with the additional horsepower, offering pure experience. The car will be soon available as a bolt-on system. The proceeding stages are already under development and are soon to be announced.

  • Vortsteiner’s Program for Lamborghini Huracan

Vortsteiner-Lamborghini-Huracan-LP-610-4-THUMBVorsteiner is adding to its Nero program the new Lamborghini Huracán. Just like they have done with their Aventador, the Californian-based tuners will be designing, testing and fabricating many wheel and aero components, which were specifically created for the Huracán platform. The first pictures are at hand and we promise you that they are worth viewing!

First, look at the wheels. In the case of this hot red Lamborghini, it runs on 20 and 21 inch special edition VSE-003 forged wheels wheel combination specifically tailored to maximize both inner and outer clearances. What is more, the choice of Vorsteiner to add 20 inch at the front and 21 inch at the rear was to appropriately suit the radius of the Lamborghini fenders. The wheels come in Matte Black finish and are fitted with Pirelli P Zero in the dimensions of 245/30/20 and 325/25/21 at the front and rear, respectively.

Next, the company is famous for its spectacular aerodynamic components. The tuners are currently working on many cutting edge aerodynamic enhancements which will additionally improve the nearly perfected design as seen in the rendering below.

This Rosso Mars Huracán is the perfect example of what stands behind the philosophy of Vorsteiner. What drives the company is the pursuit of unique creations, to be the forefront of innovation and art. More details about this exciting project are coming soon.

  • DMC Teases Lamborghini Aventador Veneno

DMC-Luxury-Edizione-GT-teaser-shadowDMC-Luxury-Edizione-GT-teaser-mediumSmooth move, DMC. On the same day search engines around the world are buzzing with the reveal of the Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4, you release your own bull. Well, kind of, because whatever you’re doing is not ready yet. Still, you went for the teaser option.

Apparently, the piece shown above suggests a Veneno, and whatever it turns out to be, its going to be called the DMC Edizione GT. The German-based company takes pride in its work on Lambos simply because they are really good at it. Ludicrous things like the Aventador Molto Veloce and the Aventador LP900 SV (Spezial Version) serve as a testament to that.

The stakes are high for this one. After all, when a Veneno is involved, nothing is off limits.

DMC promise more revelations soon. Excited?

  • The Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 Is Out

    Lamborghini-Huracan-LP-610-4-shadowLamborghini-Huracan-LP-610-4-medium

This is big news! The Gallardo successor is officially out (sort of) and its called the Lamborghini Huracan – pronounced without the ‘h’. It is – of course – a name deriving from a fighting bull of the Spanish Conte de la Patilla breed. It was known for its audacious spirit and “strong sense of attack”.

The Huracan also has “LP 610-4” in its name, which, as you might have guessed, means 610 hp going to all fours. The engine is still true to the Lambo tradition of natural aspiration and countless cylinders. Well…10 cylinders anyway – 5.2-liters of them. The power peaks at 8,250 rpm while the maxium 560 Nm of torque is available at 6500 rpm.

A 7-speed dual clutch LDF transmission and a fully electronically controlled four-wheel drive system are responsible for the conversion of that power into mesmerising performance. Three modes of operation (STRADA, SPORT and CORSA) will decide the throttle and gearbox response, the sound quality, and the stability control and the AWD system behavior. Optionally, if you go plan on being really hardcore about it, you can get the “Lamborghini Dynamic Steering” variable steering ration system and magneto-rheologic (no idea) suspension damper control.

Because the whole car weighs no more than 1,422 kg (the chassis is a blend of aluminum and carbon fiber), the power-to-weight ratio is just 2.33 kilograms per horsepower. Ergo, the blistering acceleration of 3.2 seconds from 0 to 60 (0 to 120 takes 9.9 seconds). The lightweight structure also means less fuel. That, and some clever use of both direct and indirect injection and the presence of a Start & Stop module, all contribute to the Huracan’s Euro 6 grade. That’s 290 g/km of CO2 emissions and a fuel economy of around 12.5 liters per 100 km.

Inside, you get a 12.3 inch TFT instrument panel that has loads of information in store for you, but you won’t really have time for all of that, unless you want to end up in a hedge. On the outside, well… just look at it. It’s fresh and daring, and unique, yet still somehow Lamborghini. And last time we checked, “Lamborghini” is a dirty, dirty word.

More disclosure will be available on the 24th of December. Public première is expected to happen in March 2014, on the Geneva Motor Show.Lamborghini-Huracan-LP-610-4-medium-2
