  • Kahn’s Vengeance Launched in Geneva! Mixes Classic Design with Modern Engineering

Kahn Vengeance Exterior Kahn Vengeance is one of the custom built cars that Kahn Design is debuting this year at the Geneva Motor Show. In fact, the Vengeance has been officially launched there, since we have seen slices of it through the previous months. The coach built two-door coupe, which is based on the Aston Martin DB9 chassis, is a synthesis of modern engineering and classic design.

As a matter of fact, design this car was Afzal Kahn’s lifelong pursuit and inspiration. The Vengeance is actually the car he has always wanted to drive.

Built entirely by hand, the car has unique design inside and out. The front has been entirely remodeled and features new front bumper and wide spaced grille with aggressive appearance. Both elements are framed by widened front wings which merge into the doors.

The central bulge of the bonnet continues to the roof, which flow outwards to the widened C-pillars and rear wings. The chrome roof halo curves around the large rear window and goes to the redesigned rear. The latter includes new bumper that houses in-house made crosshair exhaust system and rear lighting.

The wheels that Vengeance runs on are lightweight and have one-off retro styling with multi-spoke design and two tome retro finish. The number of spokes increases from sixteen at the front to eighteen at the rear, lending extra visual weight to the rear wings. These unique wheels were fitted with 225-wide tires at the front, and 335-wide ones at the rear.

Kahn Vengeance can be seen at the Geneva Motor Show at company’s stand Nr. 6338.

  • Kahn is Going to Geneva and This is Why You Should Be Excited About It

Vengeance Front View The news you have probably not heard yet is that Kahn Design is going to display a lot of special models at the Geneva Motor Show this year. If you are going to visit it, be prepared to see some old good cars they have made throughout the year and exciting new debuts. One thing is sure, Afzal Kahn’s finest vehicles will be shown there.
We have just received a confirmation letter, stating that the visitors of the event in Geneva will see the official launch of the Vengeance project, the rather eccentric Defender 110 6×6 Double Cab Pick Up, and the Chelsea Truck Company Wide Track S.

    Vengeance

Geneva is the place where Aston Martin DB9 based model will celebrate its official launch. The wide body two door coupe has a muscular and aggressive design, featuring aggressive front grille, new hood and front fenders. Widened rear wings, stainless steel roof halo and window trim are accompanied by diminished rear windows.

In addition, this design treasure will be also running on huge stainless steel 20-inch front wheels fitted and 21-inch rear wheels. The Vengeance will have a limited production run and will be entirely hand built by Kahn’s experts. We hope to get more details as the Geneva Motor Show approaches.

Kahn’s Defender 110 6×6 Defender Double Cab Pickup will also be on display. The vehicle looks gorgeous, kind of extravagant, but this is probably because it runs on six wheels! This means that model had to be transformed by means of extension and widening.

The exterior of the Defender also received many tweaks, but we hope to get the exact details right before the show. Ok, let’s say that there will be new front bumper, X-Lander grille and the exuberance of Kahn badging. Modifications to the interior are also planned.

This vehicle will be making the biggest surprise at the show. It will be exhibited alongside the Project Kahn Range Rover Vogue and the Imperial Blue Range Rover Sport editions. We haven’t seen it so far, except for a recently released sketch drawing.

The new styling package add Kahn’s sense of aggressive look, including prominent changes to the front grille and bumper, wider wheel arches filled with huge rubbers, and probably a new vented aluminum bonnet. The styling package will bring the Jeep closer in appearance to company’s successful Land Rover Defender Wide Track. And this is also confirmed through its name.

If all this is of interest to you then you should go visit the Geneva Motor Show in the beginning of March. You can join Kahn Design at stand Nr. 6338. And in the meanwhile we will keep you updated.

  • Kahn Releases First Official Photos of Vengeance Project

Have you seen Kahn Vengeance Project? No, I don’t mean the sketches but the official first photos of the actual car. Well, if you haven’t you can do it by finding them in the gallery below (they are the last four images). The tuner has unveiled these pictures and nothing more.

However, the last time the project was teased, it was unveiled that the vehicle will be built on aluminum wide body and that it will be a two-door DB9 Vantage coupe.

As we know from the sketches the car will sport a redesigned and very aggressive front grille, new hood and front fenders. Take a look at the widened rear wings … and have you noticed the roof and the length of the car? The polished stainless steel roof halo and window trim are accompanied by diminished rear windows.

Moreover, this design treasure will be running on 16 spoke 20-inch wheels at the front coupled with 225 tires and an 18 spoke 21-inch rear wheels mated with 335 tires. The wheels are made of stainless steel. They feature unique bi-color finish and impeccable multispoke design.

No details or whatsoever were released about the engine, or precisely, about any changes made to the engine. So this means that the car will either get the V12 engine that generates 515 hp (379 kW) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque, or something mightier.

The Vengeance will have a limited production run this year and it will be entirely hand built by Kahn’s experts. We hope to get more details soon.

  • Kahn Shows Three Sketches of Vengeance Project

Kahn’s Vengeance is here! At least in sketches. Yes, the tuning company has released the first three detailed drawings of its exciting upcoming car. As we told you last week, the ambitious project will be based on another British classic, just like the Flying Huntsman based Defender). It will feature tuner’s specific WB12 wide body and will be built in Coventry, UK.

In addition, also confirmed today was the fact that the car will be a two-door coupe in “hammer formed aluminium”. My guess about the marque was completely right – it will be an Aston Martin, however – not a Vantage, but a DB9.

Yes, the coachbuilt car will use as a basis DB9’s chassis. The future wide body two-door coupe will have a muscular stance and as we can see from the sketches – aggressive design.

    Design

The specialists at Kahn always seek to push the boundaries of design. Project’s design is inspired by the 80s and 90s. This means that Vengeance follows the philosophy of volume and flowing curves over angular surfaces. As a result we will see a spectacular mix between old and new, between classic and contemporary design.

The details here are of importance. First, take a look at the widened rear wings, that are highlighted by lines projected from the signature bonnet bulge. And have you noticed the roof and the length of the car?

These visual characteristics are further emphasized by the striking front with this aggressive grille centerpiece. The polished stainless steel roof halo and window trim are accompanied by diminished rear windows.

Furthermore, this design treasure will be running on 16 spoke 20-inch wheel at the front coupled with 225 tyres and an 18 spoke 21-inch rear wheels mated with 335 tyres. The wheels are retro-inspired and will also have a two-tone body colour with the diamond cut outer section.

    Production

Since there is no information about the interior, the next important question is whether this car will see production. The answer is positive, and it will begin in 2015 with a limited run. What you should also know is that each vehicle will be hand built by Kahn’s team of experts and will carry an engraved plaque in the boot.
