The vehicle marks the return of the Islander after an 11-year hiatus. Based on the Wrangler Sport S, this model can be specified with either two or four doors. For the first time, this edition joins the Jeep lineup. Based on the Renegade Latitude, the exclusive edition features many standard features and some optional content. Jeep Renegade receives Superior Rating from IIHS

2020 Jeep Renegade has earned a Top Safety Pick rating from the IIHS. The rating applies to Jeep Renegade models produced after September this year, when geared with the brand’s optional Automatic Emergency Braking technology, Forward Collision Warning-Plus, and LED projector headlamps.

These are among more than 70 standard and optional safety features. Additionally, Renegade offers the segment’s first availability of Forward Collision Warning-Plus and LaneSense Departure Warning-Plus.

Furthermore, Renegade’s optional Forward Warning-Plus was rated as “superior”, the highest possible rating awarded by IIHS in front crash prevention. The system initially warns the driver to take action in order to avoid collisions. If he fails to do so, the system autonomously activates.

The Top Safety Pick rating is also enabled by Jeep’s available LED projector headlamps with optional automatic high-beam control. The available feature switches headlamp models between high- and low- beam function, depending on traffic conditions, without driver intervention.

Jeep Renegade has also managed to record “good” results in five additional crashworthiness tests.

As it seems, Jeep team is determined to deliver us more and more appealing vehicles with even more advanced and futuristic technology features. It is no surprise that the new Renegade has managed to take such an award home – the machine is a result of the team’s hard work and dedication towards engineering and customers.

Jeep and Garage Italia Customs honour Montreux Jazz Festival with special lineup of vehicles!

Since 1967, the Montreux Jazz Festival has witnessed numerous celebrities performing and since its early years the fest became one of the most anticipated events in the world. And in order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Festival, Jeep, in collaboration with Garage Italia Customs (GIC) reveal the Jeep Cherokee Jazz, Jeep Renegade Vinyl and Jeep Grand Cherokee Score show cars.

Jeep Cherokee Jazz

Inspired by the musical instrument guitar, Garage Italia Customs used wrap-paint, a special technique that results with recreating the classic wood veneer of a guitar. Generally, the process consists two major steps: first, the vehicle is encased in a wood-texture film, then it is painted with great skill and passion. As you will see for yourself, the result is stunning: we see veiled body with black color that elegantly changes to brown. Sweet.

With a drivetrain that is based on the Limited Edition model and which offers 200hp via a 2.2-liter Multijet II diesel unit.

Jeep Renegade Vinyl

The vinyl, a symbol of a generation and emblem of fine music was the inspiration for this one. The design team recreated the same surface on the body with wonderful 3D-effect double-wrap. Garage Italia Customs applied a series of concentric circles on the body and then completed the visuals with electric-blue wrapping.

The interior is also inspired by the legacy of the vinyl: the Alcantara fabric has undergone some exclusive customization and also reproduces the design of the vinyl even on the seats! Cool!

Renegade Vinyl is based on the Trailhawk and comes with a 2.0-liter 170hp Multijet II turbo diesel unit, mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Score

The unique tribute lineup is completed with Jeep’s flagship model. The sides of the vehicle represent musical scores and are enhanced by brasss-colored notes. Of course, the same concept dominates the cabin: there is Foglizzo leather upholstery with pentagram on the backrest.

This one is based on the 75th Anniversary model and features a 3.0-liter Multijet II 250hp unit, mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

The three unique cars also show one more thing: that the two brands have made a step forwards in the collaboration between Jeep and Garage Italia Customs, and we do hope to see some more special cars in the near future.

Garage Italia Customs strikes again with Hell’s Revenge Renegade

Jeep Renegade Hell’s Revenge front view Garage Italia Customs are those specialists who made shoes-inspired Alfa-Romeo 4C (link below) and basically surprised the world with this “creation”, which was rather strange. Well, it most certainly looked good. Now, their latest project is killing it with looks, too! Based on the latest edition of Jeep Renegade, it carries the name Hell’s Revenge and it will be making its premiere at the Harley-Davidson 25th European H.O.G. Rally. The latter is currently taking place in Portoroz, Slovenia, until Sunday.

In short, Hell’s Revenge is passionate, expresses the ultimate freedom and calls for adventure. Values mutually shared by both brands. The show car pays homage to Harley owners and to all bikers who share the same lifestyle views.

The Design Centre of Garage Italia Customs identified flames as the key element of the individualization to represent passion (the value in both the Jeep and Harley worlds). To make the idea come into reality, the experts had to add four layers of a matte paint base and then apply the fluorescent flames. All was eventually protected by a special transparent layer for fluo paint.

The livery actually recalls the airbrushing technique, which we see sometimes on motorcycle tanks. The flames theme is continued on the interior via a painting of the dashboard. The seats had to come in black denim leather accentuated with Foglizzo Nappa.

Besides the standard features, which one can find on a Renegade, here is included extra technical equipment. It adds the following: personalized skid plate, a suspension lift kit and special alloy rims combined with BF Goodrich tires. A very special feature is the two LED spotlights on the windscreen.

Harley-Davidson 25th European H.O.G. Rally is free and open to all. The expected attendance is of thousands of Harley-Davidson riders, enthusiasts and fans. So make sure to be there if you are in the vicinity!

2016 Jeep 75th Anniversary Models Jeep launches a special and limited edition range lineup in order to celebrate brand’s 75th Anniversary. These special vehicles feature exclusive branding, extended list of standard features, exclusive styling and unique paint finishes.

Jeep Showcases Renegade Dawn of Justice Special Edition

FCA US LLC and Warner Bros. Pictures make strong alliance to deliver us not only great movies, but also great vehicles. The highly anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie will not only showcase the epic battle of two of our favorite superheroes, but will also demonstrate some rather interesting vehicles, as the 2016 Jeep Renegade Dawn of Justice Special Edition.

There is even a special advertising campaign that is already launched and features a special 30-second commercial “Into the Storm”. This video features footage from the movie, along with the Jeep Renegade. We won’t tell you much, so you can enjoy the clip, but the main idea is that this vehicle can drive you in and out of danger every time you need it.

Available in Granite Crystal or the exclusive Carbon Black exterior finishes, the Renegade Special Edition also features distinctive 18-inch Gloss Black wheels with Gloss Black Accents, while the one with Granite Crystal paint also offers a two-tone Gloss Black roof. Jeep Renegade Gets Night Eagle Limited Edition

Jeep Renegade Night Eagle Front View Jeep Renegade Night Eagle comes after the debut of the Limited Cherokee Night Eagle Edition that happened in November last year. The Renegade is again limited edition and it is going to be produced in 350 examples only and distributed exclusively throughout the United Kingdom. This variant is based on the Longitude mid-range level, but adds some exclusive features. Here are the details.

Night Eagle Exterior

On the outside the Jeep Renegade Night Eagle is equipped with some unique styling features, which we have seen already in the Cherokee version. In particular, the vehicle rides on 17-inch black alloy wheels, features one-off satin grey Jeep badges and unique Night Eagle badge, coloured roof bars and side mirrors, and satin grey grille rings on a black front grille. There are also rear parking sensors included.

160 of the 350 examples of the model are going to be available in the unique Volcano Sand matt paint finish. There are two other colors in the range: the Carbon Black and the Alpine White, from which the customers can choose.

On the inside, this Renegade features seats in bark brown fabric with electric lumbar support for the driver, leather wrapped steering wheel, dual zone climate control, DAB UConnect radio with 5-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth and satnav, and cruise control.

There is also additional equipment offered that will further enhance the exclusivity of the Jeep. These include electric panoramic sunroof, heated front seats and steering wheel, and regular size spare tyre.

Engine Options

Just like any other Renegade this one is offered with a choice of two MultiJet II diesel engines, both mated to asix-speed manual transmission. The first one is the 1.6-litre 120hp (88 kW) with two-wheel drive, and the other is the 2.0-litre 140hp (103 KW) unit, driving all four wheels. The top speed is 111 mph and 113 mph, respectively, while the 0-62 mph acceleration happens in 10.2 seconds and 9.5 seconds

The new Jeep Renegade Night Eagle costs £21,595 OTR for the 1.6 MultiJet II 120hp 2WD, and £24,095 OTR for the 2.0 MultiJet II 140hp 4WD.

Jeep Renegade is Ready to Serve the Police Force

Jeep Renegade received its latest color scheme! Now the car, available with a total of 9 colors received and its latest: blue and yellow stripes. Familiar? Yes, you guessed it. Now the Renegade will also serve the police.

The striking Renegade police car is a result of a partnership between Jeep’s Swindon-based dealership , T H White Fiat Group Brand Centre and Wiltshire Police. And now, T H White agreed to offer extended six month test drive. And at the end of the test period, Wiltshire Police plans to buy the vehicle. In fact, the Renegade itself is already fitted with full police graphics, lights, siren and the special Gable Cross Police Station, Swindon.

The car comes with 1.6 Diesel Sport engine, that provides the best-in-class off-road ability and world-class dynamics and performance. The inside comes with numerous functional details, especially crafted from high-quality materials. There are also numerous colors, used in the cabin, which makes it cozy, but yet functional. Surely, the latest addition to the police force will offer incredible functionality and performance. But, if I have to be honest, I don’t want to be a passenger in this particular Renegade unit. It drives well, but after all it will bring me in only one spot: the police station.

Jeep And Ram Took the Prizes at the “Mudfest” Competition

2015 Jeep Cherokee - Front Angle Jeep and Ram Truck companies took part at the 21st “Mudfest” competition, organized by the Northwest Automobile Press Association (NWAPA). Each FCA US car has won the challenges in its own category. Furthermore, 2015 Jeep Renegade was rated “Northwest Outdoor Activity Vehicle of the Year”. But this is not the only price, that Jeep took home.

The 2015 Jeep Renegade also took the price of the Compact Utility class and 2015 Jeep Cherokee is the winner of the Family Utility class. On the other hand, 2015 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel won the Pickup challenges and the 2015 Ram Power Wagon is the winner at Extreme Capability class. Look out, we are dealing with winners here!

2015 Jeep Renegade US Prices Leaked

After another price-leak for the new Jeep Renegade Sport, it has become clear that your wallet will weigh $17,995 less if you decide to purchase the vehicle.

The new model is equipped with the most advanced and intelligent 4×4 systems in its class. They include: Jeep Active Drive – a full-time 4×4 system, and Jeep Active Drive Low – a class-exclusive full-time 4×4 system with 20:1 crawl ratio. Both of them feature Selec-Terrain traction control system which provides with five different modes: Auto, Snow, Sand and Mud and Rock. What is more, 2015 Jeep Renegade Sport will have power windows, telescope steering wheel and an UConnect 3.0 infotainment system. Four-speaker audio system, a split-folding rear seat and 17-inch all-terrain tires are also included.

There are going to be two engines available: 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo four-cylinder which delivers 160 bhp (119 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque, and a 2.4-liter Tigershark four-cylinder unit which pumps out 184 bhp (137 kW) and 236 Nm (177 lb-ft) of torque. Front-wheel drive comes as standard on most models while an all-wheel drive can be bought for $2,000.

Other models in the range are:

Jeep Renegade Latitude with a price of $21,295. If customers decide to buy this one in particular, they will take advantage of fog lights, body color door handles, privacy glass and 16-inch polished aluminum wheels. The car also features an Uconnect infotainment system with a five-inch touchscreen display air, air-conditioning, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a six-speaker audio system.

The more luxurious Limited which will cost $24,795 will arrive with chrome mirrors caps, a revised grille, heated front seats and Nappa leather upholstery. This model benefits from 18-inch polished aluminum wheels.

Jeep Renegade Trailhawk that will be offered for $25,995 and will be fitted with exclusively-made bumpers. The aggressive look of this model is further defined by the car’s 17-inch alloy wheels and tires.

2015 Jeep Renegade signed by the Rolling Stones Auctioned by Charitybuzz

2015 Jeep Renegade signed on the hood by Rolling Stones members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts was successfully auctioned off. An anonymous buyer has secured the one-of-a-kind vehicle for $46,000 USD. This did not happen at an event but rather at the global charity auction site Charitybuzz, and was held between 5^th and 23^rd of December. The proceeds will benefit Community Links.

Community Links is a London-based organization, which is dedicated to help those who bear the consequences of social exclusion. The organization develops great practical activities and shares the local experience with practitioners and policy makers.

As a matter of fact, the Jeep brand was the “Presenting Sponsor” and exclusive automotive partner of the latest 2014 tour of the band, called “14 On Fire”. The flagship vehicle was the Grand Cherokee.

At the tour we also saw the introduction of the 2015 Renegade in Italy following its international debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. A one-off example, which was just sold, was signed by the band members on 22 June in Rome.

The new Jeep Renegade is the only car in the segment to offer nine-gear automatic transmission, two drive systems, rear axle disconnection device and an instrument panel complete with 7″ display. The automatic transmission is coupled with the 2.0-liter Multijet II diesel engine flex fuel. There is another engine option, which is the 1.8-liter E.TorQ. It comes linked to the five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.

Jeep Wows Brazil with 2015 Renegade

2015 Jeep Renegade has been introduced in March but it is not late for the vehicle to make its first official appearance in Latin America. The equivalent of the show in Geneva is Sao Paulo and it is where the magic happens. In fact, at this show debut such vehicles that we can’t see anywhere else in the world. Take for example the Nissan Kicks concept or the new Troller T4.

But continuing with the main topic, the Renegade stands out with its perfect proportions, which is ideal for the region’s narrow roads. The car offers great off-road capability, open-air freedom and convenience. More importantly, it is equipped with a segment-first nine-speed automatic transmission that contributes to outstanding on-road and off-road driving dynamics.

In Brazil, the nine-speed automatic is coupled with the 2.0-liter Multijet II diesel engine flex fuel, while the 1.8-liter E.TorQ engine comes linked to the five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. As a matter of fact, the Renegade will be the first compact SUV equipped with a diesel engine to be sold in Brazil.

In addition, it will also be the first Brazilian-made car that will have the ParkAssist function. 2015 Jeep Renegade perfectly matches the spirit of adventure and can-do attitude of the country and is expected to attract thousands of new customers to the brand. The sales are expected to start during the second quarter of 2015.
