  • Jaguar F-Type Coupe Tuned by Best Cars and Bikes

BEST Cars & Bikes Company was established in 1997 at Viersen on the Lower Rhine, Germany and it is famous for its high-quality tuning, among many other kinds of services. Nevertheless, the tuner is quite picky for it offers a collaborative work with carefully chosen suppliers only. Part of its working program are bikes, as the title of the company suggests, but it also offers solely rims and exhaust systems which enhance the performance of a certain car.

The focus of Best Cars and Bikes has now been directed towards the British Jaguar car manufacturer. Not wanting to change big part of the F-Type virtues, the tuner has provided Jaguar F-Type Coupe model “only new shoes”. In this case, there have been used, the so called, CC-Line three-part rims which provides the Jaguar vehicle with exceedingly good and smooth running. The ensured stability and degree of obvious fine work can be noticed even when driving at high speed. Unlike the components inside the cast of ordinary rims which produce vibrations making the tires “jump” on the road, the “Schmidt Revolution” functions on a quite different level.

The developed by Volker Schmidt pressed three-part wheels bring excellent quality and efficiency. The multispoke-wheels are mounted on the front in 9,5×21 with tires 255/30R21 and on the rear in 11×21 with tires 295/25R21. In addition, here has also been installed a H&R spring set.

BEST Cars & Bikes Company is also working on a feature that will be able to improve the power of the Jaguar F-Type.

  • Jaguar F-TYPE Coupe High Performance Support Vehicle [VIDEO]

Jaguar-F-TYPE-Coupe-High-Performance-Support-Vehicle-THUMBJaguar F-TYPE Coupe High Performance Support Vehicle has been built to support the Team Sky during Stage 20 of the 2014 Tour de France, when riders will traverse from Bergerac to Périgueux. Jaguar F-TYPE R Coupe is the most dynamic and capable performance-focused production Jaguar ever built. It went on sale globally earlier this year. This current bespoke F-TYPE concept vehicle is based on the F-TYPE R Coupe and will be also driven by the 5.0-litre V8 supercharged engine, which produces 550 horsepower (404 kW) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft).

There are no current plans for a series production of this unique F-TYPE Coupe. This exciting version of the sports car will only support some of the Team Sky riders this Saturday on 26th of July during the time trial (TT).

The car is built in such way so that it can accommodate two of the team’s Pinarello Bolide TT bikes. The exterior of the car is finished in Team Sky’s livery, with colourways and other Team Sky graphic design cues.

The same can be also seen inside the car. Furthermore, other specifications feature a separate electric supply in the boot that delivers power to the radios, amplifiers, microphones, horns and televisions this supporting communications between Team Sky’s Sports Director and the rider.

Jaguar is the Official Supplier to Team Sky since 2010. Back in the victorious 2012 and 2013, the British engineering leaders supplied Team Sky with a fleet of performance Jaguar XF Sportbrakes.

  • 2014 Jaguar F-Type Coupe [teaser]

Jaguar has published the first teaser picture of the upcoming 2014 F-Type Coupe. The sports car will make its official debut on November 19th at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The all-aluminum F-TYPE Coupe range will deliver in production form the uncompromised design vision of the Jaguar C-X16 concept, and will complement the existing F-TYPE Convertible, winner of the 2013 ‘World Car Design of the Year’ award. The F-TYPE Coupe will go on sale in North America in spring 2014.

The engine range will be the same as roadster’s one – 3.0 liter supercharged V6 with 340HP (250 kW) or 380HP (279 kW) and a mighty 5.0 liter supercharged V8 with 495HP (364 kW).

“The excitement generated when we revealed the C-X16 concept was terrific; so to now be on the cusp of what I can assure you will be a drama-filled reveal event in Los Angeles for F-TYPE Coupe is a very significant moment.”, commented Ian Callum, Director of Design, Jaguar.

“We’ve been overwhelmed by the positive reaction to the F-TYPE Convertible, but for me the purity of creating a sports Coupe is a uniquely satisfying process – and I know that both visually and dynamically, F-TYPE Coupe raises the bar yet again.”, he finished.
