Lexus announces an exclusive wellness and travel program

2021 Lexus IS Sports Sedan Lexus team elevates the road trip experience by presenting its new “Retreats in Motion” program. It encourages participants to take a five-day and four-night driving retreat with the new 2021 Lexus IS. The participants will also have the chance to stay in the brand’s partnering chain of hotels.

Travellers will be paired with the new 2021 Lexus IS Sports Sedan at their original hotel before going on a custom route with suggested stops and wellness activities to enjoy through their journey. “Retreats in Motion” adopts the IS Sports Sedan as a vital part of the wellness experience and will promote it as a sanctuary for rest. The vehicle will also come with a mobile wellness kit to help travelers get the most out of the special journey.

The automobile manufacture has partnered with mindbodygreen, a health and wellbeing media brand in order to create custom content with some of the world’s most famous wellness experts for each particular retreat. Some of the highlights include podcasts on sustainability with best-selling author Jonathan Safran Foer and a guided mediation with Mary Beth LaRue. There are also lectures and topics on mindful eating and movement for improving health. Participants can also immerse themselves in the in-car sound bath with Sara Auster, which will be executed via the Mark Levinson audio system.

Guests are responsible for the “Retreats in Motion” registration costs and travel expenses. Fees start at $2,700 for two guests, and include:

Lexus celebrates success with new models! Check these beauties out!

2016 Lexus IS 200t Turbo Special Edition Lexus celebrates its one millionth unit sale of the popular IS sports sedan vehicle and decides to launch a special celebration model that offers enhanced style, better safety features and tons of super-pleasurable infotainment features.

There are three new models that are available in a total of three different trim grades that provide everything that customers might want. Also, as it comes to personalization and optional features, the new models include eight exterior styling changes and a total of 15 interior changes. Cool, right? Also, there are numerous improvements onto the infotainment and utility systems.

In terms of drivetrain system, Lexus team has added two new power units. The one is IS 350 that is a 3.5-liter quad cam V6 and the other one is the 300h petrol-electric hybrid bad boy. Also, there is the god ol’ IS 200t. All these units can be specified regardless of the trim level.

In fact, the interior additions and changes are definitely worth mentioning. First of all, there is sweet new 10.3-inch display infotainment screen that replaces the previous seven-inch unit. There is also a new instrument gauge and new steering wheel buttons that heavily resemble the Lexus RC Line styling.

Lexus Shows the Refreshed IS Model in Beijing

2017 Lexus IS Front View Lexus has made a great furor at the Beijing Motor Show with the introduction of the newest variant of the emblematic Lexus IS model. With fresh looks and number of important changes, the car is ready to tackle any untamed spirit. For the first time, the IS model was introduced back in 2013, displaying new direction of company’s design strategy and also offering more than enough performance.

Minimal Exterior Changes

And due to the many likes that the exterior design has gathered, Lexus has decided to keep its essence intact and its spirit alive. Well, there are some important changes like the new front fascia, which now includes new design of the headlamps, large air intakes in the front bumper and an evolution of Lexus’ spindle grille.

The IS keeps its sleek profile defined by standard 10-spoke 17-inch wheels with new design, while the rear features more pronounced “L”-shaped LED light guide and rectangular chrome exhaust tips. Lexus is also offering two new paint schemes: Deep Blue Mica and Graphite Black Glass Flake.

Inside, changes include multimedia display screen which is now 10.3 inches big; “Enter” buttons added to the sides of the Remote Touch Interface (RTI) on the center console; refined audio and ventilation-control panel with hairline-finish surface; new stitching on top of the meter hood; refined speedometer and tachometer.

Just like the additional exterior paint scheme, Lexus is offering new colors for the interior. Precisely, the Moonstone and Ivory have been replaced by Chateau. Other changes, which are absolutely new to the IS include the cup holders, a new larger leather-wrapped palm rest with stitching and redesigned in-dash analogue clock.

Power & Safety

Just like three years ago, the IS will be offered with three engine offerings. The rear-wheel-drive IS 200t will be driven by the 2.0-liter twin-scroll turbocharged inline-4 with intercooler mated to a smooth-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission. Fitted with Variable Valve Timing-intelligent Wide (VVT-iW), this unit’s power is rated at 245 hp (180kW) at 5,800rpm or torque 350Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque at 1,650 to 4,400rpm.

In terms of safety, the new IS has been upgraded with the Lexus Safety System +, which combines Pre-Collision System, Lane Departure Alert (LDA) with Steering Assist, Automatic High Beam (AHB) and Radar Cruise Control.

There are no particular details when this vehicle is coming to dealerships, but we hope it is as soon as possible. Stay tuned.

Was Lexus the Star at This Year’s SEMA Show?

Although this year’s SEMA show witnessed numerous incredible vehicle projects and concepts, Lexus’ current model range made a great impact on the whole event. And this time Lexus included the RC F GT3 race car that will compete next year in USA, along with GS F, RC F, IS and RC 200t models.

And the GS F model was demonstrated with the special Gloss Burnt Orange Wrap and geared with a Tein suspension system and special damper kit. The special body color, along with the Advanced Racing GT gloss black wheels and the fitted Falken Azenis FK 453 tires really contribute to this vehicle’s unique presence. The improved vehicle also includes a special dual system exhaust, Brembo brakes and Sumero custom carbon fiber aero kit.

And along with this beauty, the team paid attention and to the RC F model. The vehicle was demonstrated with Ultra Matte gunmetal blue 20-inch wheels and emphasized style with the Widebody GT Kit Pandem aero pack. The car also comes with KW suspension and FIA-approved Sparco race seats.

The IS 200t was also on display at SEMA and proudly demonstrated a Seibon Carbon aero kit and stylish Voseen 20-inch gold wheels with ultra-low profile Nitto Invo tyres.

2016 Lexus GS F

SEMA audience also witnessed the restyled RC 200t by Guy S. DeAwis and 360 Motorworks. The body is covered with 3M Gloss Cosmic Blue, matched with stance brushed titanium-finished 20-inch wheels and especially lowered springs. The vehicle also is geared with AIMGAIN aero body kit and Tenabe Medalion Touring exhaust.

Lexus IS 25 Aniversario Special Edition at Madrid Auto Show

After the teaser phot from last week, Lexus has finally unveiled the IS 25 Aniversario at the 2014 Madrid Auto Show in Spain. The model is created to celebrate the 25^th anniversary of the model. It will be produced in limited series of just 25 units which will be sold exclusively in Spain.2014 Lexus IS 25 Aniversario comes with a complete aggressive body kit including a carbon fiber front hood, roof and a new spoiler. It is developed by Toyota Racing Development (TRD), which also fitted the special model with quad exhaust system. Other highlights include 19” F-Sport wheels fitted with Bridgestone Potenza tires – 225/35 R19 front and 255/30 R19 rear.The performance saloon also features Brembo big brake system – vented discs and 6-piston calipers.The interior boasts a red start TRD button, perforated leather upholstery with F-SPORT white inserts as well as an individually numbered plaque.2014 Lexus IS 25 Aniversario is powered by a V6 engine or a hybrid powertrain. The manufacturer will also offer a similar kit as an upgrade package for existing IS. The price will be exactly €10,000.

Lexus IS Coupe [render]

TopSpeed has released a render image of the upcoming Lexus IS Coupe. The premium mid-sized coupe is inspired by the LF-CC Concept and looks just stunning.However, the image is based on the IS Sedan, but with some modifications to the doors, roofline and greenhouse. Still, the result is pretty good and the IS Coupe could go on production sometime during the next year.The engine range will include a 2.5 liter V6 with 207HP (152 kW) and a 3.5 liter V6 with 310HP (228 kW). A Hybrid version will also be available with a 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine and an electric motor with combined power of 223HP (164 kW).The rendering was created by David Kiss.

Toyota Racing Development 2014 Lexus IS

Toyota Racing Development (TRD) has introduced a new range of accessories for the 2014 Lexus IS.

The exterior boasts a complete aerodynamics package including a new front spoiler, a pair of revised side skirts, a new rear diffuser and a trunk-mounted lip spoiler. There is also a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system and a set of 19” forged aluminum wheels fitted with low-profile tires.

Other upgrades are underbody braces, which stiffen the cars structure resulting in better handling. There is also a sport-tuned suspension with new shocks and springs. Despite the improved handling, the comfort doesn’t suffer.

2015 Lexus IS Undergoing Dynamic Evaluation

The new 2015 Lexus IS currently has undergone over 1.6 million kilometres of testing and development in order to ensure that all new models have excellent dynamic capabilities while offering space and comfort.

The testing of the 2015 IS took place on the road, track and laboratory including conditions on ice and snow of the southern hemisphere, the heat of the northern hemisphere, along with the gruelling test bed of circuits such as the Nurburgring in Germany and Fuji Speedway in Japan.

In fact, the driving dynamics was the higher priority in these tests. The goal – to attain the “fun to drive” characteristics of the IS. The conventional approach to its development would involve developing each of the individual aspects of the car. The engineers have built it by first constructing the foundation and then proceeding to build up from there.

The end result is that the new Lexus model will have new body strengthening techniques, including laser screw weld and body bonding, suspension system that delivers. The latter delivers 20 per cent increase in roll rigidity.

2014 Lexus IS Sport Sedan – More than a Compact Executive

Lexus has presented the new 2014 IS Sport Sedan at the 2013 NAIAS. The 2014 IS will be available in RWD and AWD versions of the IS 250 and IS 350, a further evolution of F SPORT available across the entire model range, and for Europe, Japan, and select international markets, the IS 300h, the first IS to feature Lexus Hybrid Drive.

The IS 250 is powered by a 2.5 liter V6, the IS 350 has a 3.5 liter V6 and the IS300h combines a new Atkinson-cycle 4-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine combined with a high-torque motor.

The IS 350 RWD version has an 8-speed automatic gearbox, which is the same as in the IS-F model. The new IS comes with the Drive Mode Select system offering up to four switchable driving modes: ECO, NORMAL, SPORT and SPORT S+.

The new Lexus IS comes with revised the front double wishbone suspension while at the back it takes the same multi-link system layout from the GS.

IS F SPORT models not only benefit from exclusive, exterior and interior design features, but also genuine dynamic enhancements. Both the front and rear suspension systems and the Electric Power Steering (EPS) are exclusively tuned for F SPORT, enhancing handling performance. An Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) system is tuned for F SPORT models, while Variable Gear Ratio Steering (VGRS) is also available on IS 350.

F SPORT models announce their presence with an exclusive spindle grille that incorporates a bolder insert design. The bottom corners of the front bumpers feature aerodynamic detailing to provide enhanced brake cooling. Unique 18-inch wheels feature a Y-spoke design inspired by the LFA.

On board, drivers will receive vehicle information from an innovative driver’s meter cluster with a moving center ring, inspired by the LFA. Interior trim detailing includes an F SPORT steering wheel and shift knob, and aluminum pedals and scuff plates that include the Lexus logo.

The all-new Lexus IS will go on sale in mid-2013.

2012 Lexus IS-F Price – €70 600

Lexus has released further details for the new 2012 IS-F sports car, which is now more powerful and dynamic. The high-performance saloon comes with revised chassis and new individual equipment options.

2012 Lexus IS-F will still compete against the brutal BMW E90 M3 and the elegant Audi RS4, but the new IS-F has a little advantage – 5.0 liter naturally aspirated high-revving V8 delivering 423PS (311 kW) and 505Nm (372 lb-ft) of torque. 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and top speed of 270 km/h (167 mph). Nice performance!

The options list includes: BBS individual 19” alloy wheels with 14-spoke design. There are also crimson and black interior.

Still, the new IS-F is a bit pricy starting at €70 600, so we have to expect that it is brilliant?

Lexus has announced IS 250C coupe-convertible Limited Edition for the UK. The IS 250C is one of the most stylish coupe-convertibles on the market. It offers supreme luxury and unique style at decent price. Just a perfection … or not really! However, there will be only 50 units and each one comes with a numbered badge denoting its special status, discreetly fixed inside the glovebox.

2011 Lexus IS 250C Limited Edition boasts a distinctive black and red semi-aniline fine leather interior. It is based on the SE-L model, which means – 18” alloy wheels, eight-way electrically adjustable front seats with built-in ventilation and heating, cruise control, electric one-touch easy access to the rear seats, climate control that automatically adjusts temperature settings when the roof is down and cruise control.

The price for this pleasure is £39 990 OTR, which is a bit high. Still, this is a Limited edition model, so some day you will be able to sell it a bit higher, than the regular models.
