  • How Bespoke is Infiniti Q70L? [VIDEO]

Infiniti Q70L Bespoke Edition Front and Rear ViewThe next Japanese company with a big Shanghai reveal is Infiniti. It has premiered a bespoke edition of the Q70L luxury car. You may ask what is so special about this car. Well, the answer: its one-off interior that has been inspired by those of the Q80 Inspiration and Q60 Concept. The cabin is welcoming because it features warm atmosphere. To achieve this, the designers have done several things.

First, the bespoke version of the car features four individual seats upholstered in abundant white quilted leather. The redesigned rear actually frees around 150 mm for increased legroom. This also means entirely revamped seats and more spacious cabin. In addition, the four seats feature cushioned quilting, soft Ultrasuede and high-texture saddle leather.

Quilted leather has been also used for the door trim and ‘cut and sew’ headliner. Furthermore, hand-stitching has been the method preferred for the leather-wrapped steering wheel, glove compartment, door inserts and armrests.

Besides the interior, the Q70L Bespoke Edition has also some special exterior accents. The first one is the Arctic Aluminum paint scheme, which we have seen on the Q60 Concept. At the front Infiniti designers have added new LED headlights, double arch grille and front bumper with integrated fog lights.

At the back there are also integrated LEDs, new design for the trunk lid, slimmer rear bumper and a chrome rear finisher. And if you happen to be at Auto Shanghai, don’t miss the Infiniti Q80 Inspiration and e Q60 Concept, which are also on display.

  • Infiniti QX50 and QX30 Concept Make North American Premiere [VIDEO]

Infiniti QX50 Front and Side ViewIt was announced last week that Infiniti will debut at the automobiles event in New York the redesigned QX50. Next to it, the visitors of the show will see the QX30 Concept. We’ve seen the last one debuting at the Geneva Motor Show in March, so we will focus on the QX50 crossover. The first thing to mention about it is the wheelbase. It was extended and this results in increased proportions of the exterior dimensions and interior spaciousness. In fact, room in the cabin has grown with eight cubic feet.

In addition, the exterior also received new appearance. Infiniti obviously decided to bring forward its new design language (we’ve seen it already applied on the Q50 and Q70) thus giving the crossover new LEDs in the form of daytime running and fog lights.

The side sills have new design as well. This where we also see the LED side mirror turn signals and the new 19-inch alloys. The rear fascia was also changed.

Powering this beautiful vehicle is the standard 3.7-liter V6 engine which produces 325 horsepower (239 kW). It is coupled with a 7-speed automatic transmission that can drive either the front or all wheels.

The luxurious interior is wrapped in Ivory leather and it will definitely take care for occupants’ optimal comfort. As mentioned the cabin delivers more room now and this is due to the longer wheelbase. To be more precise, it was extended by 3.2 inches. The most of the gain is the additional 4.3 inches of legroom for the rear passengers. Next to the increased interior volume, the QX50 can now proudly stand out with 2.7 cubic feet of added cargo space.

2016 Infiniti QX50 is scheduled to go on sale this fall, while the QX30 Concept will enter production later this year and will have a market launch in 2016.

  • Redefined 2016 Infiniti QX50 with Premiere in New York

2015 Infinit QX50 Front and Side ViewJust like many other exclusive and luxury companies Infiniti will also have its stand at this year’s New York Auto Show. The big news regarding its participation in the event is that this is where the debut of the 2016 QX50 will happen. The vehicle is a very special one since it has played a significant role in company’s history being one of the first personal crossovers. Nowadays this segment is growing rapidly and every company is trying to release its own successful version.

There will be a wide range of updates in the new QX50. Starting with the wheelbase, it will feature a three inches increase that will eventually ensure the occupants have more rear legroom and interior space. In addition, Infiniti also told us that the crossover will sport new front and rear fascias and have a higher ride stance.

The wheels and side sills will be also new and actually we do expect to see a very big change in the car. Although these are the official details, we also want to see another unit underneath the hood of QX50. The current model is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 engine that has the potency of generating 325 hp (239 kW) and 361 Nm (266 lb-ft) of torque. The 7-speed automatic is a standard, while the all-wheel drive system is left optional. Maybe we will see AWD as a standard in New York?

QX30 Concept is the other vehicle in Infiniti’s lineup which will make a North American. The car is a preview of a future compact crossover expected to be seen in dealerships in early 2016.

  • Infiniti QX30 Concept Previews Future Production Model [VIDEO]

After intense teaser campaign Infiniti QX30 Concept has been finally revealed. Of course, this has happened at the Geneva Auto Show. The design of the vehicle is typical for Infiniti and at the same time envisions the future production entry of the brand in the compact segment. With its sleek lines and all-wheel drive, the car is perfect not only for the city but also for the outdoors.

When you look at the body, it appears wide and thick, thanks to some styling cues as well as to the 21-inch wheels fitted with large tyres. The wheel design is indeed unique due to the combination of the three-dimensional milled aluminium and matte rubber material.

The front bumper is in satin chrome and is complemented by the tough-looking kick plates under the doors and the sculpted rear skid plate. In addition, the roof racks extend toward the centre line. All this makes the concept look like a mini version of SUV, which it exactly is.

The interior of the concept features the same innovative approach applied on the outside. For instance, the bold and dark cabin includes U-shaped seat frame that has been “dressed” in a layer of premium Connolly saddle leather. To make it even more special, the leather is accentuated by blue stitching.

The technology features available inside include Infiniti InTouch that helps the driver stay connected to their favorite devices. Regarding the powertrains, the QX30 Concept is envisioned with a wide range of diesel and petrol engines.

At last, we must say that this is definitely going to be a production model and this was just a preview. Infiniti has already confirmed that this concept signals a future premium compact crossover with full range of powertrains to suit any need of the customer.

  • First Image of Infiniti QX30 Concept is Released!

To our pleasant surprise, Infiniti decided to reveal the first image of the QX30 Concept! Set to make its world premiere at the 2015 Geneva International Motor Show, the crossover concept seems to show a strong indication of commitment, style and strength.

Very often this brand has tried to push the boundaries between what is possible and what is impossible and so far it hasn’t disappointed us. On the contrary. The final results have always turned out to be exclusively acceptable. Now the Infiniti QX30 Concept is born with a remarkably sleek design which combines the lines of a coupe with subtle features of a crossover. Looking ready for action and still kind of smooth, it encapsulates a dynamic spirit which promises to deliver uncompromising capabilities.

Designed to make travelers feel safe, comfortable and at ease, this concept vehicle adopts a theme of “stylish protection.” This becomes apparent from nose to tail. The SUV-like look is characterized by pronounced aluminium-trimmed front bumper and an intriguingly-sculptured rear with a tough skid plate that has nuanced graphics.

The QX30 Concept’s sophisticated exterior proportions “are composed of bold sections, deep upward cuts, and intersecting contours to create Infiniti’s hallmark “dual wave” effect. The aerodynamic design accentuates its athletic silhouette, showcasing its confident capability. Carbon fibre in the lower cladding and roof-bar supports adds to the car’s lightweight performance character.” Finally, 21-inch wheels and larger profile tires contribute to the stable stance of the crossover too.

For now, the automaker hasn’t shared any information regarding the performance specifics of the soon-to-debut QX30 but stay tuned to find out more very soon!

  • Infiniti Q60 Concept Takes After Q80 Inspiration and Q50 Eau Rouge [VIDEO]

Voila! Infiniti gave us a full preview of its 2016 Q60 Concept so we could finally see what to expect.

Under the hood, there is said to be a newly created V6 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine that takes advantage of a direct injection that is able to produce a hell-of-performance. According to the manufacturer, this power unit is part of an innovatively smaller, lighter and more efficient range of engines.

The new Infiniti Concept car shows pronounced wheel arches which add a rugged touch to the overall masculine look. Being 4690 mm (184.6 inches) long, 1865 mm (73.4 inches) wide and 1370 mm (53.9 inches) high and in combination with the “razor-sharp edges and strikingly deep recesses”, the vehicle seems to be lower than it actually is.

Still though, there are repercussions of the line curves of the Q80 Inspiration and Q50 Eau Rouge. The sleek and highly elegant Infiniti Q60 inherited the Inspiration’s low roofline, intelligent headlamps and stylish leather seats. From the Eau Rouge, the two-seater drew the Formula One-inspired lower intake and exhaust pipes.

“The Q60 Concept has the emotion and sculpting of the Q80 Inspiration. At the same time, it adopts the performance aspects of the Q50 Eau Rouge, which is immediately associated with Infiniti performance and the science and sport of Formula One racing,” explained Alfonso Albaisa, Infiniti Executive Design Director.

The assertive look of the car is also found inside where the car arrives with premium components featuring a leather-wrapped two-toned black and white instrument panel and door inserts. There is also a double hand-stitched leather steering wheel. Using a variety of leathers to cover the seats, Infiniti manages to not only complement the car’s exhilarating individuality but also offers the best comfort possible.

Obviously the culminating sense of artistry is everywhere when it comes to the 2016 Infiniti Q60 Concept!
