    Q30 Active Compact will also come in a time when the brand really has the opportunity to expand itself. As you might know Infiniti has sold the record 136, 700 vehicles worldwide during the first eight months of 2015, which means a total of 14% growth, compared to the same period back in 2014.

  • Infiniti Shows Q30’s Interior Ahead of Frankfurt Debut

    Infiniti Q30 - Interior 1Infiniti Q30’s interior has been revealed via two images. The company has promised that the cabin actually mimics the expressive exterior. The world premiere of Q30, company’s first ever premium active compact vehicle, will happen in no less than two weeks at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt.

    What do we actually know about the exterior? First it will be based on the concept that Infiniti debuted two years ago at the same event. If you do remember well, then you will also expect to see an expressive design with flowing but edgy forms and untamed character.

    The visually dynamic exterior served as an inspiration for the design of the interior. In fact, the cabin of the Q30 takes the expressive forms and curves of the exterior and turns them into something very comfortable that caresses the driver and passengers.

    As we can see from the pictures, the interior is filled with exclusive high-quality materials that create this unmatched contemporary ambiance. One very special and tactile detail is the Dinamica suede-like material from Italy. Although this fabric is used mainly in the fashion industry, it now covers the roof and support pillars of the Q30 cabin.

    Furthermore, the premium design is supported by more practical matters. Precisely, the seats for the driver and passengers have been constructed for enhanced comfort support with an elevated hip-point. In this way they help the in-control sense.

  • Is Infiniti Q30 Premium Active Compact better than 2013 Infiniti Q30 Concept?

    Infiniti Q30 Premium Active CompactThere is good news for Infiniti fans as the automaker is taking down the camouflage of their unique Q30 Premium Active Compact ahead of its premiere. The Hong Kong-established luxury division of Nissan unveiled just one image, but it says enough. At least exteriorly.

    The luxury hatchback arrives with an acute style, a pinch of exclusivity and a lot of driving dynamics. Despite the fact that it is envisioned as a model that somewhat “times” the swoopy lines of its predecessor, precisely Infiniti Q30 Concept, the new model still exhibits an ostensible level of edginess. And it is exactly these design cues that really distinguish the car from the crowd.

    Technical data and specifics about this category-breaking vehicle are still missing. However, it won’t be a surprise if the engine of the new Infiniti will be presented in the form of a hybrid. Conventional four-cylinder powertrain is likely to be adopted too. We will wait and see.

    Infiniti Q30 Premium Active Compact showcases provoking characteristics, confident attitude, high-class handling, excellent ride and, lastly, responsive performance. From the picture we can see that the expressive bodylook of the hatchback are further complimented by its sleekness. The masculinity of the car is defined by the nicely-shaped rectangular grille and sharply-looking headlamps. We cannot deny the fact that the Premium Active Compact is also aggressively-looking which is just enough to make onlookers follow the smooth motion of the car while on the road.

    The world premiere of the new Infiniti Q30 will be hosted at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show in Germany this fall.

  • Infiniti QX30 Concept Teased

    We were expecting Infiniti to unveil its crossover variant of the upcoming Q30 compact car and today we finally got our chance to catch a glimpse of it. The released teaser image is of a concept version that is going to make its premiere next month during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

    The new Infiniti QX30 concept car is said to match the “urban – week – and – get – away – weekend lifestyle” of customers. According to the carmaker, this model is going to be an example of how the sleek lines of a coupe are combined with the rugged appearance and commanding seating position of a crossover. The SUV-like look is partially obvious from the image which depicts an intriguing rear end underscored by an interesting tailgate and well-shaped LED taillights. Moreover, the huge rear bumper is completed by large exhaust tips.

    Beefed up tires and massive wheel arches also adorn the silhouette of the QX30 concept. Along with the Q30 hatch, both cars will receive a production version later this year. Despite the fact that there is still plenty of information that is missing, Infiniti revealed that its QX30 will be based on the Mercedes-Benz MFA premium compact car platform developed for GLA compact crossover. The Infiniti Q30, on the other hand, will be similar to Mercedes-Benz MFA-based A-Class hatch.

    As a matter of fact, this model is a unique blend a coupe, a hatch and a crossover, because in it were included features typically found in the three types of cars. May be the reason for this is tat the Q30 Concept is designed to appeal to younger customers who are not afraid to step in unknown territory.

    The designers of the brand has the freedom for this project to be more creative and to explore bolder, even more sensual sculpting, increased muscularity and playfulness. Infiniti Q30 Concept is the precursor for brand’s future production vehicle.

    Next to the unveiling of the new concept model, at the Frankfurt Motor Show was also announced the start of the sales of the Infiniti Q50 sports saloon in Europe. The vehicle will go on sale as of mid-November.

    Furthermore, in Frankfurt the brand will also show that Infiniti Q30 Concept has a distinctive style and reaches new levels of product quality. In fact, it is a continuation of the designe philosophy introduced with the Infiniti Q50. The latter debuted at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January.

    Similarly to the Q50, the Infiniti Q30 Concept also has dramatic design drawn from the visionary Infiniti concept trilogy – Essence, Etherea and Emerg-e. We can surely say that the design of the car we see on the sketch exudes adventurous spirit and graceful athleticism.
