Subaru of Australia has announced a special limited edition Impreza WRX Club Spec. Just 300 Club Spec WRXs will be available.
Each comes with Leather trim, Black coated 17-inch alloy wheels, Black Subaru Tecnica International (STI) spoiler, Black door mirrors, Club Spec external badge, Numbered Club and Spec interior badge.
The limited edition is available purely as a sedan with manual transmission-only.
Tangerine cars will also have orange stitching on the WRX logos on the front seats and on the front seat back rests.
Seat and steering wheel stitching is black.
The black car has standard red stitching on the seats, back rests and steering wheel.
The front guard garnish with WRX logo is also black instead of the standard silver.
An STI kit is also available including:
- Front lip under spoiler
- Short shift gear lever assembly
- Flexible tower bar
The normal Manufacturer’s List Price (MLP) for the kit is $2100, but is available for $1000 on the Club Spec limited edition.
The Club Spec WRX is priced at $41 490 MLP.

Subaru has announced the new special edition Impreza WRX STI S206, which hits the Japan market. It is based on the 4-door SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI and features exclusively-made items in both interior and exterior designs. As with former STI models such as S204 and R205, S206 is founded on the IMPREZA WRX STI line.
Mark Higgins set a new lap record on the Isle of Man circuit with Subaru Impreza WRX STI. The former rally chmapion stopped the clock at 19 minutes an 56.7 seconds for 60.83 km (37.8 mile) road course. The average speed was 182 km/h (113 mph) and a top speed of 261 km/h (162 mph).
Subaru has unleashed the 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX models. For model year 2011, the sporty rides pack wider body design inspired by the brand’s high-performance WRX STI flagship vehicle.

One of the latest creations from Subaru – the Impreza WRX STi Carbon made its official debut at the Tokyo Motorshow 2009. Based on the A-Line model, the new sport hatchback has carbon fibre roof, which gives the car better hp/weight ratio and lowers the center of gravity to maintain better traction and handling. 
The newly-announced 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX will make its public debut at X Games 14, to be held in Los Angeles, Calif. July 31 – August 3. Boasting engine and handling upgrades, the 265 horsepower WRX will be on show at the Subaru display in the Sponsor’s Village. A 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX will be awarded to the “Subaru Most Outstanding Athlete of the Games” recipient.
