Health and safety officials should be watching carefully because lo and behold, a Hyundai Genesis can perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation). See that and many more with the car company’s ad campaign which is set to take over the Super Bowl for a fifth year with five spots this time.
“Think Fast” is the name of the one we really liked. It features a Genesis Coupe R-Spec riding trough a generic wasteland with two individuals inside it – One venerable passenger who obviously knows a thing or two about success in business and a seemingly bored driver which is rather like a subordinate or a step son. Either way, Mr. Jenson (or Bob, the passenger) unwittingly suffers a heart failure much to the distress of the now in panic Anderson (driver). What follows is evident really. We just want to say that we really liked the idea of utilizing sudden bursts of torque to revitalize the human body. Then again, we also enjoyed watching that comedic duo being thrown around in the cabin as the seat belts obviously did their work just fine. So a point for Hyundai there. We also liked the safety annotation at the 0:15 second mark made to discourage people from actually trying out this stunt… unless they are professional drivers, on a closed road…. or at least with a medical degree.

Hyundai Motor America has introduced the new 2012 Azera, which is the fifth vehicle to adopt the company’s signature Fluidic Sculpture design language. The 2012 Azera represents a modern approach to the traditional large sedan segment by using an advanced powertrain, emotional design and luxury features offered with Hyundai’s strong value proposition. This approach has been successful for the other Fluidic Sculpture vehicles.
Azera is the model sitting between Sonata and Genesis. It comes with exclusive exterior design featuring xenon headlights, LED taillights and big 18” alloy wheels. The elegant look continues in the interior, too. Hyundai has created an upscale ambiance, thanks to a flow-through center fascia and instrument panel. These flowing surfaces complement the exterior design and wrap around the driver and passengers. The cabin comes with heated leather seats and SAT NAV, but you can also order premium 12-speaker Infinity audio system, ventilated front seats and a panoramic sunroof. Among the standard equipment, you’ll find dual automatic climate control, second row air vents and cooled glove box.

Showcasing the extreme power of Hyundai’s most popular performance car, Hyundai America Technical Center Inc. (HATCI) teamed up with Magnuson Products, Rhys Millen Racing, Harman International and Torvec Inc. to develop and build a special edition prototype Genesis Coupe, the Genesis Hurricane SC. In addition to the supercharged V-6, the Hurricane features an IsoTorque differential from Torvec Inc., exterior enhancements from Rhys Millen Racing and a Harman International high level Lexicon audio system.
