  • Hennessey Performance team proudly showcase a 600hp Lincoln Navigator

2018 Hennessey Performance Lincoln Navigator As it seems, Lincoln team, along with Hennessey Performance have decided to rival AMG G-Wagon and Range Rover SVT machines. How? By boosting the power output of the already agile machine and adding tons of premium features. In fact, this is also the first tuner to offer aftermarket upgrades for the 2018 Lincoln Navigator.

What Hennessey magicians have done is to boost the output of the twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine from 450hp to the brute 600hp and modify the airflow through the power unit. Furthermore, the engine revision includes software updates, high-flow air induction system, stainless steel exhaust system and large front-mounted intercooler system with valve upgrade.

All this means that the luxurious machine is capable of tackling down the 0-100km/h challenge in mere 4.8 seconds and runs the ¼ mile sprint in 12.9 seconds. Sweet, isn’t it? Furthermore, the upgrades include sexy Hennessey forged monoblock wheels, lowered suspension and Brembo brakes that elegantly handle all this brute force.

And the best of all is that HPE600 comes with a three-year/36,000 mile warranty. However, there is also bad news: there would be only 200 units produced at this time. So, if you are into exclusive and powerful premium machines, definitely check this bad boy out!

  • Hennessey Performance Strikes Again. This Time the Lucky Vehicle is Ford Mustang! [VIDEO]

2016 Hennessey Performance Ford Mustang GT350Mustang has finally revealed some information about the performance rates of the 2016 Ford Mustang Shelb GT350 and GT350R. As you might know, both vehicles are limited to only 50 units and both of them showcase some incredible performance stats.

However, many people were still not satisfied about what is written on piece of paper and they did want real performance show. And they got one. A pretty tough one. And luckily, there is a sweet video that reveals more about vehicles’ nature and improvements. However, let’s check out why these two bad boys are so popular, shall we?

2016 Hennessey Performance Ford Mustang GT350

Honestly, there are not any significant exterior changes and tweaks that require special attention, nor there are any in the cabin, so we directly step into the most interesting part: the drivetrain system. Generally, there are a total 808hp (602kW) at 7,800rpm and 657lb-ft of torque at 4,600rpm of power output. Massive, isn’t it? I am pretty sure that you do want to know the final results of the tests. Here they are: the vehicles accelerate from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in mere 3.3 seconds and cover the distance of ¼ mile in mere 10.8 seconds.

SEE ALSO: Meet the VelociRaptor: Hennessey’s vision over Ford SUVs

But let’s talk more in details. Both vehicles share the same HPE800 Supercharged 5.2-liter V8 Voodoo engine system with numerous upgrades and changes. These include 2.9-liter supercharged system, 11.0:1 compression forged aluminum pistons, forged steel connecting rods and of course, numerous carbon fiber components.

2016 Hennessey Performance Ford Mustang GT350

I told you that there aren’t any notable visual additions. However, we should mention the Supercarged Exterior badging, Hennessey Exterior Badging, HPE800 Exterior badging, unique serial number dash and engine plaques and this well-known blue exterior finish.

I also mentioned a special video. Here it is. Enjoy!

  • Meet the VelociRaptor: Hennessey’s vision over Ford SUVs

2016 Hennessey Performance Ford F-250 VelociRaptor So, what do we got here? One sweet and long Ford vehicle. But this is not just any sweet and long vehicle. This is the VelociRaptor SUV! This F-250 on steroids truck has a lot to demonstrate: first of all, it comes with style. We see a neat-looking Ford SUV with clean lines, minimal curves and sleek black glossy finish. What has been changed is that there is a special VelociRaptor pack geared that brings new rear bumper, LED light bar into the front bumper, Hennessey serial number dash plaque and Hennessey and VelociRaptor exterior badges.

    And the interior?

2016 Hennessey Performance Ford F-250 VelociRaptor

Of course, Hennessey team has done some changes here and there. Now there are middle row captains chairs and folding 3rd row bench. In fact, there are a total of seven seats that can become 8. How? With a strange kind of magic. Don’t ask me. Okay, here’s how: there is this optional 60/40 folding central console thing that when folded frees up space for one more passenger. The rest of the interior is limited to just this boring Ford styling and tweaking.

    Drivetrain systtem

2016 Hennessey Performance Ford F-250 VelociRaptor

It is powerful, indeed. After all, you do need certain amount of horsepower and torque to drive along with 7 other people, right? The base is taken from the F-250 model and comes with a 4×4 system and a total of 411hp (306kW) and 880 lb-ft of power output. Not bad, right? Also, there are two optional upgrades: a VeloCiraptor 600 Supercharged upgrade that brings a mighty 6.2-liter V8 unit and a VelociRaptor 650 Supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine.

    Additional equipment

2016 Hennessey Performance Ford F-250 VelociRaptor

Optionally, the long SUV can be tweaked and fine-tuned in many ways. There is optional VelociRaptor wheel and tire upgrade, rear bumper upgrade, exclusive and still optional LED light bar, warn front winch and O–road suspension exclusive fine tuning. Sweet.

Hennessey Ford Mustang HPE800 front viewHennessey Performance is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the limited edition model

It is all about horsepower when it comes to Hennessey Performance. These guys do not need any introduction or whatsoever. They are actually making 25 years of thriving and success (Viper is jealous now) and to commemorate this, they have created a really special Mustang series. Let’s not exaggerate things and say that this is only a visual update to what they have achieved so far with their latest Mustang HPE800.

What do we have underneath the hood of the ‘Stang? A supercharged unit of the powerful 5.0L V8 engine. How much power does it deliver? It is now capable of way more horses than the stock ones, precisely: 804 bhp (591 kW) at 7,000 rpm and 878 Nm (648 lb-ft) of torque at 4,400 rpm.

Hennessey Ford Mustang HPE800 rear view

There are also some significant updates that help the car extract as much power as possible and they are made to the fuel and intake system. The fuel pump as well as the injectors, the custom intake ducts have all been subjected to an upgrade.

Visual updates are probably the most exclusive part of this project, since they make it stand out and also show that it is an anniversary edition. A lot of carbon fiber has been involved here – the precious material has been used for the covers, front splitter, side sills and rear lip spoiler. Riding on beautiful 20-inch H10 alloys mated with Michelins, this Mustang is ready to conquer mountains and any tough road in general. A lot of badging is showing the significance of the here presented anniversary muscle car.

Hennessey Ford Mustang HPE800 25th Anniversary Edition will be produced in only 25 examples. So if you want one, you’d better hurry. I’m definitely counting my money.

  • HPE has Future Plans of Building World’s Fastest Sedan [VIDEO]

HPE1000 Twin Turbo Cadillac CTS-V Sedan Side ViewOne of my most favorite tuners is Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE), because it always surprises me with its supreme and outstanding projects. The newest one aims to be world’s fastest four-door sedan and will be based on the Cadillac CTS-V. In fact, the model can’t be seen on the streets yet, since its market launch begins later this year.

But when this happens, we will have more than 640 hp and a top speed of nearly 200 mph. The team at HPE finds this as the perfect basis, since it is planning to make an HPE1000 Twin Turbo CTS-V.

The last versions of the CTS-V tuned model, was a VR1200 Twin Turbo coupe, which ran 221 mph (356 km/h) on State Highway 130. John Hennessey believes that the new 2016 Twin Turbo CTS-V will have a top speed of more than 240 mph (386 km/h).

If you are already interested in buying one, then it’s probably better to make a reservation soon, since there are going to be produced only 24 units. They will be driven by a strengthened 6.2L V8 engine, which will lose its factory supercharger but will gain twin turbos for more power and better performance.

There is also going to be also a wide range of performance upgrades like carbon-ceramic brakes, larger wheels and tires as well as a widebody upgrade. Custom interior also made it in the plan.

But more importantly, the performance upgrades will allow the V8 to produce more than 780-800 horsepower. And this promise makes us very impatient, doesn’t it?

  • Hennessey Ford GT Sets Texas Mile Speed Record – 257.7 mph [VIDEO]

Hennessey-Ford-GT-thumbHere’s a video of a Ford GT setting up a record on the Texas Mile Event at Chase Field Industrial Complex in south Texas: 257.7 mph – full 4.6 mph faster than the previous champion.

As you might have guessed, this is no ordinary Ford GT. It’s a Hennessey job this. Owned by Mark Heidaker, driven by Sean Kennedy this overhauled beast wrote some history. But before that, some professional help was needed. That’s when Hennessey Performance glued 34 psi Precision Turbochargers to the 5.4 liter Ford engine. The engine and power management as well as the data acquisition system were all installed and tuned by MoTeC people. Add some high-octane racing gasoline and you’ve got yourself a record breaking formula.

“I think I can do better in the lower gears next time and we can run an even better speed.” said Kennedy – ambitious. So, next stop: the Texas Mile Event on October the 26th 2012. Goal: 260 mph.
