Hyundai will hit the German market with limited edition Genesis Coupe GT. The vehicle was inspired by the Hyundai Schuhmann Motor Sport Team. They have recently raced at the 24-hr endurance race at the Nurburgring.
Hyundai Genesis Coupe GT is powered by the well-known 3.8 liter V6 with 303 PS (223 kW) and 361 Nm (266 lb-ft) of torque. 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds and a top speed of 240 km/h (149 mph). Really, not impressive results, but the car is fast enough to make you smile behind the steering wheel.
The sound of the engine is brutal, because of the stainless-steel sport exhaust system with quad pipes at the rear.
Hyundai Genesis Coupe GT Limited Edition sits 30 mm lower to the ground on 19” light-alloy OZ Ultraleggera alloys in Matt Graphite Silver fitted with Dunlop Sport Maxx GT tires.
Only 50 units will be produced exclusively for the German market. The price tag is €41 990.

Hyundai teamed up with Gogogear Racing to develop a high performance racing car, which will be unveiled at the 2010 SEMA Show. It is based on Genesis Coupe, and the racing version offers great reliability and high-end performance capabilities. Additionally, the bright yellow paint scheme was designed in conjunction with Hyundai’s California Design Center.
A revised version of Hyundai Genesis Coupe came out this year with a number of interior, exterior upgrades and full line-up as well as the sport variant – R-Spec. 
At this year’s Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, Hyundai Motor America, Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) and the Tuner School will unveil their carbon fiber-wrapped, matte black Genesis Carbon Coupe.

Hyundai received the 2008 “Production Preview Vehicle of the Year” award for its Concept Genesis Coupe at the seventh annual North American Concept Vehicle of the Year Awards today. Concept Genesis Coupe closely resembles the production model which will join Hyundai’s lineup in the spring of 2009. The awards, organized by the South East Automotive Media Organization (SEAMO), recognize those vehicles most likely to shape the future of the automobile industry. Winners were honored in a ceremony at the Automotive Hall of Fame.
