  • Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Hong Kong 20th Anniversary Edition

    Lamborghini has announced the new 20th Anniversary Limited Edition Gallardo LP550-2. Only 8 units will be produced specially for the Chinese market. The anniversary pays tribute to Kingsway Cars Ltd., the first official Lamborghini dealer established in 1992 to provide comprehensive presale and post-sale service to all customers in Hong Kong.

    Gallardo LP550-2 is powered by a 5.2 liter V10 with 550PS (405 kW) and 540Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque.  0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 319 km/h (198 mph).

    Thanks to systematic Lamborghini lightweight design and an extremely low dry weight of just 1 520 kg, supreme performance is guaranteed.

    The LP550-2 is distinguished by a solid white exterior finish (Bianco Monocerus) with matt gold strips running from its front bonnet to the roof and down the engine cover.

    Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Hong Kong 20th Anniversary Edition is priced from HK$ (Hong Kong Dollar) 3 680 000.

  • 2012 Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder

    2012 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Spyder combines the convertible body style with rear-wheel-drive for ultimate fun.

    “With the Gallardo LP 550-2 Spyder, we are expanding the Lamborghini lineup with a purist model that adds yet another dimension of driving fun. This will appeal in particular to a very special group of customers that enjoy a spirited driving style and also like to experience the sheer pleasure of open-air driving,” commented Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.

    The 2012 Gallardo LP 550-2 Spyder is powered by a 5.2 liter V10 with 550PS (405 kW) and 540Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque, which means 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 319 km/h (198 mph). The soft-top of the Gallardo Spyder is designed for unlimited top-speed enjoyment both open and closed.

    Thanks to systematic Lamborghini lightweight design and an extremely low dry weight of just 1 520 kg, phenomenal performance is guaranteed.

  • Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 at Auto Shanghai 2011

    Lamborghini has introduced Aventador LP 700-4 to the Asian market at the Auto Shanghai 2011. The manufacturer has also revealed Gallardo LP 550-2 Tricolore at a special off-site event held in the Shanghai Expo.

    Lamborghini has achieved over 150% sales growth in 2010 compared to 2009, so the Chinese market is very important for the company. The plans of the brand are to expand its dealership network to 20 dealers from fourteen, nowadays.

    “Our presence at Auto Shanghai 2011 reflects the importance of the Chinese market, which is now our second most significant after the USA. The appeal of the Lamborghini brand in China is illustrated by the launch here of the Gallardo LP 550-2 Tricolore: definitively Italian, and with all the performance and handling a Lamborghini Gallardo promises. Demand for our cars continues to grow: our worldwide order book for the Lamborghini LP 700-4 Aventador is already eighteen months ahead of production.”, commented Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.

    Aventador LP 700-4 is powered by a 6.5 liter V12 with 700PS (515 kW) and 690Nm (509 lb-ft). The engine is mated to a 7-speed ISR gearbox. 0 to 100 km/h – 2.9 seconds and Vmax – 350 km/h (217 mph).

    Gallardo LP 550-2 Tricolore has a 5.2 liter liter V10 with 550PS (404 kW) and 540Nm (400 lb-ft). The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox. 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and Vmax – 320 km/h (199 mph).
