The latest Ford KA+ model will try to be the most spacious KA model so far and will also make its best to deliver even better fuel efficiency rates all this topped with some sweet visuals. But let’s start from the beginning, shall we?
Exterior design
Inspired by Ford’s neat design solutions, the sweetheart is well-proportioned and showcases neat high-mounted trapezoidal grille, large headlamps, overall tight body shape and this agility and ride-ready stance. Also, especially for the European buyers, Ford team added a two-piece rear fascia with black components that further enhance the agile character of the vehicle.
Interior styling

Space. This is the keyword. Or, at least, Ford team wants it to be. The new KA+ offers generous space for five people and just enough luggage space. The vehicle is a bit shorter, combined to the predecessor model, but it compromises with 29mm additional height. Furthermore, many of the components in the cabin, seats, door panels and roof headliner in this number, have been optimized to deliver additional headroom and legroom. Sweet.
In terms of styling, the interior comes with sweet grained finish on the instrument panel and hard-wearing, modern-day trim materials and overall dark charcoal color theme. There are also some chrome components and accents that further contribute to this modern and sweet design.

The latest KA+ lineup is geared with agile, yet simple petrol engines. There are a total of two options: a 70hp (52kW) and 85hp (63kW) units, both sharing a 1.2-liter tank. They are based on the well-known 1.25-liter Fiesta system and offer twin-independent variable camshaft timing technology and also have some improved fuel efficiency capabilities.
Additional equipment and features

In order to deliver optimal pleasure of driving, Ford team has geared numerous technologies and components. For example, there are exclusively developed springs and dampers, rear torsion beam axle, brake pads and tires and redesigned front sub-frame.
In terms of safety, KA+ comes with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control with Hill Start Assist, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System and more.
Trim levels and upgrades
As we have already discussed, the KA+ comes in two variants: a 70hp and a 85hp one. The second one is called Zetec and offers some more goodies, compared to the stock model. These include exterior and interior improvements as special chrome front grille, front fog lamps, power front windows, electric door mirrors, perimeter alarm with remote central locking Speed Limited and Ford Easy Fuel system.
The advanced trim level also brings distinctive 15-inch alloys, manual air-conditioning system, Ford’s SYNC voice-control communications and AppLink entertainment system, cruise control function, heated front seats, rear privacy glass and spare wheel kit. Sweet.

Imagine that you could drive a Honda Jazz, but with a Type R specification and look; or a BMW i3, but beautified and powered by the M Division. It might sound crazy, but the world we live in makes every imagination a reality. Especially in the virtual reality. We have received these crazy renderings, which show four seriously unlikely hot hatches. And although you might not be into this kind of endeavor, I promise it is worth the view! The images depict four of the most famous hatches out there, done with the thought that under their hood sleeps a powerful engine. The list includes Honda Jazz Type R, Ford Ka ST, Volkswagen up! GTi and the BMW M i3
As a huge fan of Honda and specifically of Type R, I find this project very cute and at the same time crazy to grasp as a reality. “Small but fast” was the obvious idea behind this render. Envisioned with the legendary VTEC engine under the hood, along with a huge aero kit, this Jazz is ready to blow away any speed-addict within the blink of the eye.
The Ford Ka ST is not only small, but very good looking, and in fact looks a lot like a Ford Focus ST on this image. It is probably the best picture among four, which would make the perfect production vehicle. Its advantages are that it is small in size, low in weight and filled with lots of power from its turbo engine! In other words it is everything that is worth adding the “ST” letters behind the name.
At last but not least comes the BMW M i3, which is no longer electric, but a proud hybrid. This picture shows how the hot-rodded performance variant of everybody’s favorite Teutonic battery-powered city car would look like. And since it wears the famous M badge, you can expect performance miracles. In addition, the BMW on the render is fitted with rough bodykit, sports suspension and buckets. So, which one do you like the best? And would you like to see such production variant in the future?
Ford demonstrates the latest members of the small city car lineup: the Ka Black and Ka white. Both of the models come with exclusive stylish and beautiful exterior and interior design. The latest Ka models come with black or white bodywork, complicated interior details and both vehicles demonstrate a fresh appeal and wonderful technology features.
