  • Ferrari reveals first photos of an upcoming Limited Edition series

2021 Ferrari Limited SeriesThe first official images of Ferrari’s last limited-edition lineup have been published. This new model is the expression of the brand’s concept of an extreme front-engined Berlinetta, and adopting the characteristics of the 812 Superfast to new levels. The result will be a vehicle that adopts Ferrari’s engineering experience of the past 70 years and will aim at the brand’s most passionate collectors and connoisseurs.

As with any other Ferrari unit, the new family member features an advanced drivetrain system – in this case, this is Maranello’s famous 65° V12 engine that reaches the highest output to date – 830 cv – and revs to 9,500 rpm. Further characteristics include a new valve timing mechanism and a new exhaust system along with many others.

    2021 Ferrari Limited Series

Furthermore, the technical refinement also adopts independent steering on all four wheels and the overall weight reduction. This is achieved by using extensively carbon fiber, both on the exterior and in the cockpit. Last, but not least, the new model also comes with version 7.1 of the renowned Side Slip Control vehicle dynamics system.

In terms of aerodynamics, one of the most striking aspects of the new Ferrari model is the research that the engineering team has done before coming up with the vehicle’s final design. This includes focusing mainly on enhancing the downforce of the vehicle by including new front air intakes, diffusers, and rear exhaust configuration, and patented design approaches. All these changes and additions follow bran’s notion of form following function.

In terms of interior, the vehicle reflects the design concept of the 812 Superfast, retaining the main dash and door panel interfaces and volumes, including the signature diapason motif. Also, the door panel has been redesigned to reduce weight and, combined with the introduction of the H-Gate theme on the tunnel, more modern expression is achieved.

  • Ferrari Unveil Their Most Powerful Supercar to Date

2017 Ferrari 812 SuperfastFerrari has never failed to impress over the years, but the new 812 Superfast could have just set the bar even higher.  The new 12-cyclinder engine is able to produce an output of 800 CV (8,500 RPM) which exceeds what the original F12 Berlinetta was capable of.

To achieve this, engineers at Ferrari had to work on increasing the amount of air that could be drawn into the engine and this has helped build a much more efficient engine.  Aerodynamics was also a major focus when designing the 812 Superfast. Without question, these changes have clearly paid off in terms of the car’s performance statistics.  With a top speed of 340kph and the ability to reach 0-100kph in only 2.9 seconds, this is quite unbelievable considering that the 812 Superfast does not look like some ‘zooped up’ racing car. Just making a machine of this nature road legal is an achievement in itself.

One of the more interesting features, in fact, is the new electric powered steering system which has again, helped to improve the overall driving experience. More specifically, the new steering system allows for greater agility on the road and a quicker response time to steering wheel movements.

In terms of exterior design, the 812 Superfast looks simply magnificent.  Ferrari has been able create a more elegant shape but at the same time has been successful in retaining that imposing look which Ferrari has always had. With the V12 engine positioned at the front, this has given the car a beautifully elongated bonnet, much like the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and Ferrari California. The extra focus on aerodynamics has also created more muscular wheel arches, only adding to its dominating presence on the road.

    2017 Ferrari 812 Superfast

The 812 superfast made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland and is said to have stolen the show at this year’s event.  There have been, however, a few comments about the name of the model with some people saying the name sounds slightly childish, but this is unlikely to stop the 812 Superfast from being another success story in Ferrari’s books.  Already, the car is in high demand from those who can afford the hefty price tag of £241,000.

  • DMC Ferrari Berlinetta F12 SPIA Spotted In Hong Kong

DMC-Ferrari-Berlinetta-F12-SPIA-THUMBThe luxury tuning experts at DMC are now gaining popularity in China, and the proof for this is that a DMC Ferrari Berlinetta F12 SPIA was recently spotted in Hong Kong and captured by the photo wizard Linus Lam.

The DMC F12 SPIA has unique white exterior, which makes perfect contrast to the DMC carbon fiber kit which was installed at a later time. In fact, the refinement gives the Ferrari even more aggressive look and improved aerodynamics.

To go into details, the front diffuser was substituted with a prominent new lip splitter. The latter extends the car and also enhances its road stability. Next, the front hood was entirely replaced with a carbon fiber version. An optional roof scoop is also visible here and it definitely contributes towards DMC’s F12 bolder appearance.

What is more, the extended side skirts add to improved road stability, because they utilize a pair of diffuser plates. They also feature flaps which go in harmony with those found on the front diffuser. The trunk has received a 599XX spoiler wing, which goes well along with the newly designed rear diffuser.

Inside, the package is finalized with an interior refinement. DMC has used here Italy’s finest leathers and carbon finer. Plenty of buttons and trims and a redesigned steering wheel are also present.

  • DMC Ferrari F12 SPIA Middle East Special Edition

DMC-Ferrari-F12-SPIA-Middle-East-Special-Edition-THUMBNew exciting project of the luxury tuners at DMC has just shown up. This time they have worked not on a Lamborghini but instead on Ferrari. The project is called DMC Ferrari F12 SPIA Middle East Special Edition.

The production Berlinetta generates 740 hp (544 kW), but this wasn’t enough for the professionals from Duesseldorf. This was the reason of the development of a performance package that enhances the power output of the sportscar up to 766 hp (563 kW) mark. The top speed after the tuning is nearly 354 km/h.

This new power is mainly achieved thanks to the new Titanium Exhaust System. An ECU refinement added also additional power for F12.

Of course, DMC couldn’t resist not improving the exterior stance of the car. They have equipped it with new set of forged Rims and Sport Springs. A combination of 21″ at the front and 22″ at the rear was used.

An effect of this step is that the overall handling of the vehicle was improved,. The sport springs on the other hand round-off the new appearance by supporting the new weight-ratio and handling. The new wheels were matched with Pirelli Sport Tyres in dimensions of 255/30 for the front and 335/25 for the rear.

In addition, DMC stayed true to its tradition and gave a carbon fiber body kit to this Ferrari, which adds aggressive new look and improved aerodynamics. To be more precise, the front diffuser is substituted with a prominent new lip splitter. The latter extends the car and includes own centric sword, which enhances the road stability.

Furthermore, the front hood is also replaced this time with a carbon fiber version. There is also an optional roof scoop. The extended side skirts use a pair of diffuser plates and stand out with flaps that match the ones that are also found on the front diffuser. Next, the trunk now has 599XX esque spoiler wing, which goes well along with the newly designed rear diffuser.

At last, what finalize the package are the interior refinements included. For example, inside the car there is an extensive use of Italian fine leathers and carbon fiber. In addition, there are also plenty of new buttons and trims and redesigned steering wheel.

  • Ferrari F12 Berlinetta – Options List

Ferrari cars are not for everyone, because they are too expensive to buy and to maintain. This is especially true for the F12 Berlinetta, which is the newest and most powerful Ferrari, ever. The starting price is $315,888, but the optional extras are insanely expensive.

This particular order form for such car shows, how the price easily increase to over $380k just for several additional extras. As the author of the picture showed one of the most ridiculous options is the carbon fiber cup holder for whopping $3,533 – this is too much even for billionaires. There are also other unnecessary extras like carbon fiber dash inserts for $7,227, carbon fiber bridge for $3,051  and grey-painted brake calipers for $1,445.

Everybody admits that the F12 Berlinetta is one of the best sports cars in the world, but these prices just can ruin the whole idea!

  • Ferrari F12berlinetta

Ferrari has announced the F12berlinetta, which is the successor of 599 GTB Fiorano. It is also the fastest car Ferrari has ever built. Its new exceptional V12 engine combined with innovative design that redefines classic themes along with extreme aerodynamics. The vehicle is in preparation for its official debut at the Geneva International Motor Show.

The car is finished in an attractive new Rosso Berlinetta three-layer colour. It represents the very cutting-edge of mid-front-engined sports cars. The F12berlinetta is not only the most powerful Ferrari, but it is extremely efficient – in terms of mechanical, combustion and fluid-dynamics efficiency. Combined with advanced vehicle architecture, aerodynamics, components and electronic controls, guarantee unsurpassed driving involvement whatever the road or track.

The ase has been shortened and the engine, dashboard and seats have been lowered in the chassis, while the new layout of the rear suspension and gearbox enabled Ferrari’s engineers to make the rear volume of the car smaller. The overall result is fantastic looking compact car with a lower centre of gravity that is further back in the chassis, and a level of aerodynamic efficiency that sets new standards.

An all-new spaceframe chassis and bodyshell using 12 different kinds of alloys, some of which have been used here for the first time in the automotive sector, and employing new assembly and joining techniques. The result is 20% increase in structural rigidity while reducing weight to just 1525 kg, which is 70 kg less than GTB. The balance between axles is 46:54.

The F12berlinetta is powered by a 6.3 liter 65° V12 engine with incredible 740PS (544 kW) and 690Nm (509 lb-ft). The engine is mated to the F1 dual-clutch transmission, which has closer gear ratios developed specifically for this car’s performance. The power-to-weight ratio is sensational – 2.1 kg/PS. Furthermore, the fuel consumption has been reduced by 30%, with CO2 emissions of just 350 g/km.

The performance is extreme – 0-100 km/h – 3.1 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 8.5 seconds. The car also laps Fiorano in 1 minute and 23 seconds dead. Benchmark performance and maximum driving involvement are guaranteed by immediate turn-in, with smaller steering wheel angles, and increased cornering speed. Stopping distances have also been drastically reduced.

    Ferrari F12berlinetta
    Ferrari F12berlinetta

The car comes with latest generation CCM3 (carbon-ceramic brakes) and the evolution of the SCM-E (magnetorheological suspension control system). It also features E-Diff, ESP Premium, F1-Trac, and high-performance ABS, which are all fully integrated.

The downforce has been boosted by 76% (123 kg at 200 km/h) while drag has been significantly reduced – the Cd is just 0.299. These results come courtesy of two new solutions. The first of these is the Aero Bridge which uses the bonnet to generate downforce by channelling air away from the upper part of the car to its flanks where it interacts with the wake from the wheel wells to decrease drag. The second is Active Brake Cooling, a system that opens guide vanes to the brake cooling ducts only at high operating temperatures, again reducing drag.

The all-new Frau leather interior highlights the balance of advanced technology and sophisticated, handcrafted detailing. In the middle of the light and lean dashboard, there are new carbon fibre and aluminium air vents clearly inspired by the aeronautic field. The cabin has been optimised to ensure maximum usability of the interior space with additional luggage capacity behind the seats, which can also be easily reached thanks to the large aperture offered by the tail-gate. With the cockpit designed around the driver, typical of all Ferraris, the Human Machine Interface approach is emphasised, grouping all the major commands within immediate reach to guarantee maximum ergonomics for the most involving driving experience.

There is question that this is our new favourite Ferrari.
