Evanta Barchetta 6.2L has been finally launched this week at the Goodwood Revival Show. The British custom motorcar designer Evanta Motor Company has unveiled its first production model. It is a two-seater open top speedster, which was inspired by the design language and trend of the 1950s and specifically by the motorsport cars. It has the same sleek and sweeping curves as well as low profile typical for the 50s sports vehicles, and in particular – those who had Anglo-Italian parentage.The formal reveal of the model took place on 12th of September at Goodwood Revival, with members of the Evanta Barchetta production team in attendance. Each Barchetta is designed and built in Britain. In addition, it was hand-crafted via traditional coach building methods, comprising a composite body on a tubular frame.Just like its Le Mans winning ancestors, the Barchetta is equipped with a powerful 6.2L engine. The unit produces 450 hp (330 kW), and by taking into account its light frame, this amount of horsepower gives the car exceptional agility.The company has also announced that it will produce both left- and right-hand drive variants. On addition, Barchetta will be offered with either an automatic or manual gearbox. The annual production of the model will be strictly limited to 24 cars per year, with a total production run of only 99 vehicles.

Evanta Shows First Official Barchetta Sketch Ahead of its Premiere
Evanta Barchetta is a joint project which will make its official world premiere at the Goodwood revival motor show, which will happen this weekend. The car has been manufactured by Evanta, and it has currently revealed the one and only official image of the Barchetta so far. The Evanta Barchetta is a 2-seater open top speedster, which has a design obviously inspired by the cars made in 1950s. Just take a look at its sleek and sweeping curves. Its low profile shows its Anglo-Italian parentage.Each vehicle of the Evanta Barchetta will be designed and built in Britain. It will be hand-crafted using traditional coach building methods, which include a composite kevlar body on a tubular frame. There will also be an alternative model available, which will come in an aluminium body.The Barchetta will be powered by its potent 6.2L engine, producing 450 hp (330 kW). Given the fact that this vehicle features a light frame, the engine contributes towards car’s exceptional agility. The unit will be mated to either an automatic or manual gearbox.The good new is that although the Bachetta will be built in Britain, the company will produce both left- and right-hand drive variants. Production will be strictly limited imited to 99 composite bodied vehicles and 49 aluminium bodied vehicles.The price of the Evanta Barchetta is yet to be confirmed. It is expected to be around £125,000 for the composite and £165,000 for the aluminium variant. Ant-Kahn Shows New Render Of Evanta Barchetta
Ant-Kahn Evanta Barchetta has just been teased with a new render image and some technical details. The co-founders Afzal Kahn and Ant Anstead have revealed through various social media sites this image, which shows that the forthcoming British sports car will be an open-top two-seater. They have also announced that it will be made from a lightweight composite material. This retro-styled Barchetta will have its official premiere at the Goodwood Revival motor show in September.In fact, the vehicle looks like a classic Italian car. However, Ant-Kahn promises to utilize only the most modern prototyping and manufacturing technology at its best UK-based design and production centres. Other exclusive news around the model is that it will be powered by a 6.2-litre unit, which will produce 450 horsepower (330 kW).
Unfortunately, there are no additional details revealed. Its slim design is undoubtedly retro-inspired. And we sincerely hope to see that when the car comes to life it will keep this staggering red exterior color as well as the classic multi-spoke wheels.
Kahn’s unique Barchetta will probably boast luxury interior and many innovative technology features. As one can see from this side-view image, the car has a protruding rear wheel arch and comes with heavily vented flanks.

Kahn And Evanta Collaboration Results in a Flying Huntsman and Barchetta
A. Kahn Design has teamed up with Evanta. The name of the newly formed team will be Ant-Kahn and they already have number of projects underway. The result of their collaborative partnership will be a hot-rod Defender and a custom Barchetta. Of course, the focus is on luxury and quality, which will be achieved via modern prototyping and manufacturing technology. At the same time both companies will also focus on the details that are associated with traditional coach building.Afzal Kahn has revealed that they are already working on their future plans that aim to extend from coach-building to manufacturing series motor vehicles. He promises that number of models will come to fruition in the coming weeks and months.
Ant Anstead on the other hand stated that both British companies will be dedicated to continue building upon the historical excellence of British vehicle manufacture. For him the most important is to step upon and develop the traditions of hand finished coach building.
In the forthcoming months, Ant-Kahn plans to introduce the “Flying Huntsman” vehicle, which is a new take on the classic Land Rover Defender. If you remember, we have already seen this concept car in a sketch form. It will probably include the 6.2 litre V8 powerhouse coupled with a six speed electronic gearbox and will produce around 550 horsepower (404 kW).
After the production of the Huntsman, there will be a release of an Ant-Kahn original. This will be a retro-styled Barchetta that is scheduled to officially debut at the Goodwood Revival motor show. The third car planned to be built is a completely restyled Aston Martin WB12, which will be shown later this year.
