Buick’s flagship seven-seater SUV welcomes 2020 model year with a new family member that comes with exclusive styling and tons of tech upgrades. What makes this one different from other competitors is the new Sport Touring package, revised front- and rear-end, neat 20-inch aluminum wheels and, of course, an efficient drivetrain system.

Powered by Buick’s personal 3.6-liter V6 power unit, which delivers 310hp and 266lb-ft of torque, the 2020 Enclave ensures agile and confident road behavior. Furthermore, as it seems, engineers have relied on comfort and next-gen infotainment systems. There’s an 8-inch diagonal touchscreen, SiriusXM navigation, Rear Vision Camera and HD Surround Vision system.

What also will catch the eye of both fans and skeptics is the set of new exterior colors: Champagne Gold Metallic, Rich Garnet Metallic (Avenir only) and Dark Moon Blue Metallic. This neat little addition, along with the revised and futuristic expression with massive proportions and aggressive stance do make sure that this model surely deserves attention.

Customers of the 2016 Buick Enclave can now download on the go with the latest OnStar 4G LTE connectivity. The system offers Wi-Fi hotspot, that can be used simultaneously by seven devices! The Enclave’s connectivity upgrade can be installed on all Buick vehicles, including the Encore, Verano, Regal, LaCrosse and Cascada models. In fact Buick brand offers three moths/three gigabytes free trial.

The 4G LTE is the latest and fastest mobile data network: it is 10 times faster than the 3G network and 100 times faster than the previous generation of OnStar systems. And now it offers and stronger and more reliable connection.

On the other hand, Buick’s IntelLink touch radio is already a standard on Enclave lineup and comes with even better connectivity features and customizable options. In addition, six months of OnStar Directions and Connections service is also a standard function. And there is even a mobile app, that controls vehicle functions and has access to vehicle information, that can be further shared to other devices.

There is also Five Years of OnStar Basic Plan, that allows owners to remotely star and lock the vehicle and can activate the horn or lights. There is even one more extra. It is called OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics, that can make checks on the engine, transmission, brakes and other.  How cool is that?

Buick has introduced a bronze accented Enclave crossover dubbed Tuscan Edition. It is different from its siblings due to the one-off bronze grille and 20-inch chrome-clad wheels that feature accents from the same material. The three-row luxury crossover is actually one of the most popular and looked for in its segment. With this market step, it is obvious that Buick is opting to gather the glances of even more people, who will eventually become buyers.

For those interested, Enclave Tuscan Edition will be offered in two trim variants: Leather (1SL) and Premium (1SN). In addition, the range of exterior color choices includes White Frost Tricoat, Dark Chocolate Metallic and Ebony Twilight Metallic.

The new trim levels will also add some more to the standard equipment of the “normal” Enclave. We are speaking here of the power-operated dual moonroof, the heated steering wheel, the eight-way power front driver and passenger seats, the heated front seats on Leather models and heated/cooled seats on Premium models.

Don’t fool yourself by thinking that the list stops here. The designers have added also ice-blue LED ambient lighting that shines over the instrument panel, power-tilting/telescoping steering column only available on Premium models, Buick IntelliLink, the famous OnStar with 4G LTE and built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, tri-zone automatic climate control, high-intensity discharge headlamps, power liftgate and rear park assist and rear-vision camera system with dynamic guidelines.

Under the hood of the car is the standard 3.6L V-6, which powers all four wheels or only the two up front, depending on customer’s wish. Its economy rating is estimated at 24 mpg on the highway.

Of course, 2016 Buick Enclave Tuscan Edition will be making a debut at the New York International Auto Show before going on sale this summer.

2015 Buick Enclave will come equipped with a standard rearview camera. The same will count for every 2015 Buick model. With this step the company shows how important is the safety and technology. As a matter of fact, in 2013 the University of Michigan’s Transportation Research Institute conducted a study which found that vehicles with rear backup cameras have a significantly reduced rate of backing crashes. Circa ninety-seven percent of the backing crashes in this study have involved striking another vehicle.

An added rearview camera increases the confidence of the driver. And although they do not come as a standard on all new models, Buick thinks that these cameras must be made a must-have feature.

What is more, in terms of safety, all 2015 Buick models, including Verano, LaCrosse, Enclave, Encore (fitted with AWD) and the Regal have a 5-star Overall Vehicle Score for safety in the New Car Assessment Program run by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Other technologies which are available and come to help prevent a collision, are the active safety technologies such as Forward Collision Alert, Side Blind Zone Alert, Lane Departure Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

At last, the OnStar Automatic Crash Response Technology is fitted as a standard on each vehicle for six months. When a collision happens, a specially trained Emergency Advisor is connected to the vehicle the moment a crash is detected. If the driver requests help, or can’t answer, emergency responders are sent to the precise GPS location.

2014 Buick Enclave is company’s latest luxury crossover which is going to be introduced to the Chinese market as well. The model has been redesigned and offers luxury experience mixed with advanced technologies and rough appearance. In addition, the three-row luxury crossover features fresh styling, new safety technologies, in-vehicle connectivity and delivers refined driving experience.

The vehicle has been built on the sound base of the 2013 model year version and adds more safety features such as available camera-based Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning, along with front center side air bag system which protects drivers and front passengers in far-side impact crashes.

2014 Enclave is driven by 3.6L V-6 engine which includes fuel-saving direct injection technology and continuously variable valve timing. The powerplant is matched with a six-speed automatic transmission. The V-6 produces 288 horsepower (212 kW) and 366 Nm (270 lb.-ft.) of torque, and also offers good efficiency. EPA fuel economy estimates of 17 mpg city/24 mpg highway for front-wheel-drive models.

Enclaves can be ordered with FWD and AWD configurations. The intelligent all-wheel-drive (AWD) system provides enhanced traction on slippery roads by actively managing the torque distribution between the front and rear axles.

2014 Buick Enclave has a 118.9-inch (3,021 mm) long wheelbase, 67.3-inch (1,709 mm) wide front track and 67.1-inch (1,704 mm) rear track. There is 23.3 cubic feet (660 liters) of cargo space behind the third row and a maximum of 115.2 cubic feet (3,263 liters) of cargo space available behind the front row of seats.
