Wheelsandmore Mercedes E63 AMG W213 - Front Angle

Tuner Wheelsandmore completes the Mercedes W213 tuning program with the estate variant of the E63 AMG  and presents with the introduction of the E63 S AMG some innovations in power upgrading due a plug-and-play tuning box and ultra concave forged wheels, providing an exclusive and innovative tuning program that is outstanding in Europe. The 4.0l bi-turbo engine has now proven successful in the AMG segment and is accepted as a powerful advancement even by the non-dying enthusiasts of the 6.3L AMG naturally aspirated engine. AMG proves that the engines consistently offer performance-enhancing potential with power outputs between 457 and 612hp.

Wheelsandmore presents 3 different options to increase the performance of the currently most powerful 63 series from the AMG portfolio.

Stage I + II: Wheelsandmore generates optionally 650hp and 920nm or 680hp and 960nm out of the standard 571 / 612hp due ecu remapping with unlocked v-max.

Tuner Wheelsandmore presents an easy-to-install plug-and-play tuning box for all 43/45/63 AMG engines.

The tuning-box unlocks the v-max as well and generates in total 712 hp and 965nm of torque with the Mercedes E63 AMG and E63 S AMG.

Especially interesting for leased vehicles, as the box can be uninstalled at any time without a backlash and can be installed in any other Mercedes E63 AMG vehicle.

The standard air suspension of the Mercedes E63AMG was height adjusted in the usual and proven way by adjustable coupling bars for a perfect match with the modified wheel-tire combination.

This is where the combined experience and expertise of Wheelsandmore is needed, as only multi-piece rims can be designed perfectly, simply and precisely for a vehicle with such different offsets. As all rims from Tuner Wheelsandmore have been tested in accordance with the required TUV reports and the manufacturer has all parts ready for delivery on stock, the production of extremely concave forged wheels is no problem for the current estate of the Mercedes E63 AMG.

The german car tuning company and wheel manufacturer mounted stately 10×21 inch F.I.W.E rims at the front axle covered with Michelin tires sizing 265/30/21 and staffed the guide axle with 11.0×21 inch wide rims of the same type and with 295/25/21 tires. Due to the wider front fenders of the Mercedes E63 AMG Wheelsandmore was able to craft a full set of F.I.W.E. wheels wearing the ultra deep concave centers, which were initially designed for the rear axles of sports- and supersportscars. In this combination the E63AMG comes super wide and brute and Wheelsandmore achieves an optics which was unknown from Europe´s wheel manufacturers so far.

  • Mercedes-AMG E63 better than Bugatti and LaFerrari?

     POSAIDON Mercedes-AMG E63 RS850 front viewPOSAIDON takes Mercedes-AMG E63 RS850+ to the heights of 1,020 hp and 1,400 Nm!

Believe it or not, this is the ultimate truth, which might not seem pleasant to many: this Mercedes beats the Veyron and the LaFerrari. However, there is one condition for this to be true and it is of course the tuning. This time under the spotlight is the design team at POSAIDON, which managed to take the rather clumsy E63 to unbelievable heights: we are speaking of 1,020 hp and 1,400 Nm!

Compared to the legendary Veyron which has 16-cylinders, four turbochargers, and 8.0 litres of engine capacity, and generates just 1,001 hp, the Mercedes seems a real on-road hero. Even the extremely rare LaFerrari has worse performance than this E63, and you should also consider the fact that it needs an electric motor married to a V12 to generate 963 hp.

SEE ALSO: Posaidon Ensures that there is an excess of 700 HP for the Mercedes-AMG C63 Station Wagon

Another benefit is that you need to pay less for the modifications, than for the Veyron or the LaFerrari, and still have better performance. Enough talking already! Here is all you need to know for the POSAIDON RS850+.

     POSAIDON Mercedes-AMG E63 RS850 engine

The car is based on the Mercedes-AMG E63 4Matic four-door saloon. To make the performance upgrade possible, the tuning studio had to upgrade and re-engineer the major engine components. The experts started with installing larger turbochargers and more efficient intercoolers. Next, they improved the ram air intake with a carbon-fibre encased intake system. The latter features large free-flow conical air filter.

The engine transformation continues through the addition of colder competition spark plugs, handmade turbo-back exhaust and valve controlled rear silencer. At last, the new hardware is supported by the custom ECU mapping, which makes full use of the modifications. Oh, we forgot to mention that the tuners updated the gearbox and fitted specially calibrated limited slip differentials to the front and rear axles.

     POSAIDON Mercedes-AMG E63 RS850 interior

Mentioning that the E63 AMG is a little bit clumsy wasn’t coincidental. In fact, the car is anything but light. For this reason the engineers tried to shed unnecessary kilos wherever possible. In other words they removed the rear seat and rear door trims, and replaced the front seats with the figure hugging race style lightweight seats (just like those in the C63 Black Series). All of this results in 40 kg less weight.

The ultra-light and strong carbon is another way to make a car lighter. So, the tuning company had no choice but adding carbon bonnet, front bumper, rear diffuser and spoiler, mirror caps and tailpipes. Another noticeable change is the new wire mesh grille.

The wheels the E63 RS850+ runs on are 20-inch ADV.1 alloys that look good filling the wheel arches. Behind them we see high-performance carbon-ceramic brake system with 420 x 40mm vented discs clamped by six-pot callipers in front, and 360 x 32-mm vented discs with four-pot callipers at the rear. The suspension is uprated with adjustable coilovers.

But the result is more than just 1,020 hp and 1,400 Nm of torque. Due to all-wheel-drive, the POSAIDON RS850+ hits the 100km/h from rest in just 2.8 seconds! If unleashed, the top speed reaches 368 km/h, but due to safety measures it has been electronically limited to 350 km/h. These facts make the E63 RS850+ the most powerful street-legal Mercedes of all time.

  • Vorsteiner Releases Aero Program for Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG

Vorsteiner Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Front ViewVorsteiner has finally released their latest project and first for the 2016 year. It is based on the strong and beautiful Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, which was recently updated by Mercedes in terms of visuals, but also in terms of power and torque. As a matter of fact, the latest Mercedes E63 AMG has a lot to offer with its 557 hp (410 kW) and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) in both the Limo and the T-model. What is more, the factory S version, enhanced with the AMG Performance Package,  pumps out above 585 hp (430 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft).

The additional 26 horsepower are due to changes to the engine-management system as well as increased peak injection and boost pressure. In other words, this is the most horsepower that the E63 has ever gotten! The top speed of the E63 AMG was also uplifted and is now up to 186 mph (300 km/h) in comparison to the standard 155 mph (250 km/h). The acceleration time for the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved at 3.6 seconds.

Stepping over the already enhanced horsepower, the tuners at Vorsteiner have created a special VBR E63 AMG Aero Program. Basis for the making of this car was the perfection and function inspired art. And we can say that these key goals were ultimately achieved throughout. The carbon fiber aftermarket customization accentuates car’s performance oriented nature and it also maintains the style and luxury of the E-Class.

    The VBR Aero Kit

Vorsteiner Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Wheels and Front Spoiler

The kit comprises of a front aero spoiler and a rear aero diffuser. The first one was created to underline the front of the E63 AMG, making it even more sleek and classy. In addition, the spoiler was also designed to deliver performance and airflow dedicated aesthetic update.

Next, the VBR rear aero diffuser accentuates the back of the E63 AMG. The new carbon diffuser not only improves the downforce, but also produces better airflow and contributes for more aggressive note at the tail side of the vehicle.

    Vorsteiner V-FF 102 Alloys

At last, rounding out this tuning are the in-house made V-FF 102 Flow Forged wheels, which measure 20×9 and 20×10 inches at the front and rear, respectively. By the way, the alloys feature Brushed finish that even further emphasize the exclusive exterior. They give the Mercedes a perfect and sleek finishing touch.

  • Performmaster Redefines Pure “E-nergy” with Custom Mercedes E63 AMG

Performmaster Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Side View Mercedes E63 AMG is definitely a car, which shows a lot of power, potential and performance capabilities, even without anyone working on it. However, it is also one of the most favorite cars of tuning companies. The newest example is Performmaster’s variant of E63 AMG, which has received a special treatment for its engine. As the tuning company says: it redefines pure “E-nergy”. And this perfectly describes the “E” letter of car’s name, because in physics it stands for energy (in case you wonder).

SEE ALSO: Performmaster Mercedes-AMG C63 (S) Receives Significant Power Uprating

By the way, the latest Mercedes E63 AMG has certainly a lot to offer. It produces 557 hp (410 kW) and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) in both the Limo and the T-model. Even more, the factory S version pumps out 585 hp (430 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft).

    The PEC Tuning-Module

Performmaster Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Front View

This is exactly where Performmaster stepped in with the purest intention of giving more to the already powerful output of the E-class. This wouldn’t have happened without the use of PEC Tuning-Module, which has upgraded the initial force of the E63 to 702 hp (516 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft).

    The Comparison

If we have to compare the new performance numbers with those of the production car, then I will make the math for you and immediately tell you that this is an increase of 145 hp (106 kW) and 280 Nm (207 lb-ft). But this is not all. The tuners decided to ‘add’ to the top speed too. The PEC Tuning-Module’s USP is the fully integrated V-max neutralization, thus raising the Vmax from 250 to 320 km/h.

In other words, this car will take you where only super sports cars could go.

And this powerful basis was used by Vorsteiner. The tuners have given this unique model a set of Sport Challenge Forged Edition VSC-101 wheels finished in Gloss Brushed Shadow. E63 AMG features an electronically controlled adaptive sport suspension, which allows the ride height to descend effortlessly.

This showcases the custom 20” forged monoblock wheels. Precisely, at the front they measure 20×8.5”, while at the rear – 20×10”. Of course, they were fitted with the appropriate Hankook Ventus V12 Evo tyres in the size of 255/30/20 and 295/25/20 at the front and rear, respectively.

  • BMW recalls 1 300 000 cars

Usually, we don’t report anything related to manufacturers, but this is very important and potentially dangerous. BMW AG is the world’s largest premium car manufacturer and one of the most expensive brands in the world. It is reccaling around 1.3 million cars for repair due to a possible problem with a battery cable cover in the trunk. Because of this, the car can catch fire, which is extremely dangerous and hard to cope with.

This can happen with all models from 5- and 6-Series BMWs built between 2003 and 2010. This includes all E60, E61, F10 and F11 from the 5-Series and E63 and E64 from the 6-Series.

BMW stated: “In some remote cases, the battery cable cover inside the boot of these vehicles may be incorrectly mounted, This can result in the electrical system malfunctioning, the vehicle failing to start and, in some cases, to charring or fire.”

Still, less than 1% of the problematic vehicles have exhibited the problem and there are no reports of fires. The repairing procedure is really easy and would take around 30 minutes to an hour. Of course, It would be free of charge to customers.

However, the recall affects more than 368 000 car in the US, 293 000 cars in Germany and another 109 000 cars in UK.

So, if you have such car, be hurry and check your local dealer to eliminate possible problem.
