DTE System ensures 706hp output for a lucky BMW M5 Competition model

2019 DTE Systems BMW M5 Competition BMW M5 Competition is the new performance-focused version of the sporty sedan. Geared with a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, the extra-powerful drivetrain system offers a total of 625hp and 553lb.ft of torque. Sweet, ain’t it?

However, DTE Systems team thinks that there could be even more power incorporated in the M5 Competition. And as a result of installing a PowerControl RX and PedalBox+ gadgets, engineers have managed to achieve 706hp and 656lb.ft of total power output. Definitely a worthy amount that can even compete with Aston Martin DB 11’s 608hp and Lambo Huracan 640 horses.

This little tweak is connected to all central sensors and installed tailor-made in the engine compartment. It proceeds and optimizes incoming signals in real time and passes the data on the ECU. As a result, the engine delivers more horsepower and torque (+81hp and +103lb.ft) with outstanding sovereignty.

The PowerControl RX can be controlled by keypad or mobile app. With a single touch of a button, M5 driver can choose between the DTE Sport, Dynamic and Efficient modes, while a different app highlights the performance rates at the instrumental panel, which displays the entire engine’s relevant performance data on the smartphone display.

Vehicle’s eight-cylinder twin-turbo engine ensures some super-quick sprint times of 10.8 seconds for a 0-200km/h run. The top speed is 305km/h with the optional M Driver’s package. However, with the PedalBox makes the driving experience even more fun. Directly connected to the accelerator electronics with only two connectors, it is immediately put in action.

Furthermore, the result is immediately noticeable with faster acceleration and more confident overtaking. PedalBox+ features four modes, City, Sport, Sport Plus and Series, in order to ensure more diversity and flexibility in the driving dynamics.

DTE Systems improves performance of a lucky Mercedes A-Class

The engineering team at the famous tuning studio has developed a system that optimizes the acceleration and responsiveness rates of the new Q8 and present a PowerControl RX box that boosts the peak power output with a total of 36hp and 69Nm of torque and ensures power control via dedicated smartphone application. Furthermore, drivers will be able to choose between three new exclusive driving modes – Sport, Dynamic and Efficiency.

What the project is all about is that PowerCotnrol X feature. It is a small unit that is placed directly behind the single-frame grill and is connected to the central sensors of the engine management system. By doing so, DTE team has managed to boost the pressure, camshaft and rail pressure, which results on optimized and dynamically forwarded signal directly to the main control unit.

2017 DTE Systems Mercedes-AMG G-Class 500 As it seems, the G-Class marks a new rise: Mercedes-Benz team claims that the last year was the most successful for the whole series. There were more units sold than the historical 1979 – the year that production of the masculine machine was unleashed.

And with this massively risen popularity, tuners and engineering enthusiasts decided to take a closer look at the latest G-Class releases. One such tuner is DTE Systems. As you might know, these are the specialists that have earned critic’s and audience’s applauses for their numerous bold and high-quality tuning projects. And as many other people, we are eager to know what this latest project has to demonstrate! So, let’s waste no more time and take a look at this lucky G-Class vehicle.

The notable features

2017 DTE Systems Mercedes-AMG G-Class 500

This is a G 500 unit that features a powerful V8 power unit with a total of 422hp (314kW) and 610Nm of torque. There are also some upgrades and fine tunings personally made by AMG crew. However, after DTE Systems have tweaked and changed some things here and there, now the G-Class monster provides additional 70hp and 98Nm, thanks to the added PowerControl chip tuning box. Also, DTE team has made it possible for the vehicle to accelerate from 100-200km/h by 1 second quicker. Neat! In fact, this bad boy is a fast sprinter: the 0-100km/h (62mph) run ends in mere 6 seconds!

All this is due to the installment of a PedalBox system: this thing contributes to quicker throttle response and more linear acceleration. Also, there are installed numerous smaller units and components that altogether do make a difference! We also like the electric light-green body finish. Neat!

DTE Tuning Enhances the Already Mighty 2016 BMW 750d xDrive Machine!

2017 DTE Systems BMW 750d xDrive DTE Systems knows how chip tuning is made. And as it seems, they know which vehicle deserves it the most. This time the skillful engineers have chosen the powerful BMW 750d xDrive for their latest upgrade project. In fact, this is the most powerful six-cylinder diesel machine in the world. And as it seems, even this massive amount of power is not enough for DTE Systems.

So, what do we have here?

he already super-powerful 400hp (298kW) and 760Nm BMW now features a neat DTE Plug&Play performance chip that adds additional 47hp and 123Nm of torque. Of course, pure power was not the only desired final result. This installation has tons of features: for example, the throttle response is optimized, a neat PedalBox+ is installed and the overall acceleration rates are improved with a total of 10%. Sweet.

Furthermore, the vehicle receives all other advantages that DTE Systems offer: incredible balance between driving dynamics and reliability, maintained safety features, unaffected main control systems, supplied cables and connectors in OEM quality and this overall guarantee for a high-quality tuning.

DTE Systems uprates the SENT engine generation of Mercedes-Benz E220 d

The tuning studio has developed PowerControl SNT unit which adds more power and torque

DTE Systems experts are good human beings, who have developed a new tuning box, named PowerControl SNT, raising the potential of the latest Mercedes E220 d. Under the hood is the four-cylinder diesel (W213), which has become more sporting and agile. But to go into details, the added power is 24 bhp and 49 Nm.

What does this mean? The 2.0 litre turbo-diesel engine in the E-class produces 194 hp and 400 Nm of torque, at its stock version. The chiptuning solution provided by DTE, not only ensures there are better driving dynamics and greater torque, but also excites with more dynamic traction and significantly enhanced agility.

The Power Control SNT unit is responsible for all of this. It has Multi-Protocol technology, which helps in capturing both digital SENT signals as well as analog signals from the ECU. In addition, the engine parameters are precisely optimized based on RPM and engine load. Then, they are passed on to the engine management in real time. And this is how the Mercedes gets the addition of +24 bhp and +49 Nm, ensuing that there is a total of 218 bhp and 449 Nm of torque.

PedalBox has another benefit and it is that with its characteristics, the accelerator pedal can be easily fine-tuned. This gives the sedan a serious sporting prowess. For instance, when in Sport and Sport+ mode, the Mercedes E 220 responds with greater direction to the driver’s commands on the throttle. On the other hand, the City mode is perfect for the traffic.

Another BMW M235i Cabriolet Project Mightier than its Stock Brother

DTE-Systems BMW M235i Cabriolet Front View DTE-Systems BMW M235i is a very special version of the M235i cabriolet that features enhanced power and some other playful characteristics. But before we discus the benefits that this car comes with, we should also remind you that the last news published about BMW was also about the M235i.

However, it was a M235i-tuning project by dÄHLer, which as a result generated around 390 horsepower. The logical question that comes in mind is whether this DTE-Systems project will bring out even more from this special M-Series cabrio. Let’s see.

FSR14 Performance upgrade for the Turbocharged Engine

Under the hood of the M235i is the 3.0-liter turbocharged straight-six motor, which in its stock form produces 326 hp (240 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. DTE-System’s performance upgrade called FSR1 adds to these numbers 40 hp and 70 Nm, making them a total of 366 hp (269 kW) and 520 Nm (384 lb-ft).

If you have followed my thoughts then you should also know the answer of the aforementioned question. Unfortunately, DTE-System did not manage to beat dÄHLer’s 390 hp for the BMW M235i.

New Keypad System

Nonetheless, this cabriolet has some other goodies that the other one doesn’t. For instance, an important additional feature here is the keypad system that allows the driver to choose from three different and fully customizable driving programmes.

As a result, they can dial in as many as seven power levels within these programmes. Three-colour LEDs show the chosen programme and service level.

In addition, greater driving pleasure is ensured via the in-house made PedalBox. What does it do? Well, it quickens the response time of the electronic throttle. In fact, there are over 20 different settings, three programmes and seven power levels. This of course gives the opportunity of a suitable response from a standing start and in intermediate gear acceleration.

Volkswagen Amarok with Injector Tuning and More Power

DTE-Systems Volkswagen Amarok has now more power to offer. The stock 180 hp (132 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque weren’t enough for the tuning experts at DTE-Systems. This is the reason why they decided to develop a PDI10 power module in order to increase the output of the Amarok.

And this is how they have done everything.

Firstly, they have created DTE Injector Tuning, which increases engine’s efficiency. All in all this means more power and less efficiency. Follow me until the end and you’ll now the exact numbers! The injector tuning also comes with specific mapping for the vehicle and of course – appropriate adapter cables. They help in linking the module between the vehicle and its ECU.

In addition to this, the thermal protection functions of the TDI engine remain the same as are the emission rates. This ensures maximum engine durability and reliability.

The PDI10 performance module can be combined with an in-house made PedalBox conversion. It will help remove built-in lag in the electronic drive-by-wire throttle by connecting the accelerator pedal and the engine. Another benefit is the optimal distribution of fuel dispensed to the engine.

The final result is 30 horsepower and 60 Newton meters in addition, meaning a total of 210 hp (154 kW) and 460 Nm (339 lb-ft) of torque. And in terms of fuel savings, this Amarok pick-up needs 15% less fuel than before.

See How this Mercedes C63 AMG is Boosted to 590HP [VIDEO]

Let me introduce you to this more powerful C63 AMG. You might think that it is enough for a Mercedes to carry the AMG designation, but many are on a different opinion. It seems that for the tuners at DTE-Systems, a new German customization studio, car’s stock 476 hp aren’t enough, because these are the horses that the new variant of the vehicle produces.

The main goal of the modification specialists was to prepare the car in the battle for supremacy against rivals like the BMW M3 and Audi RS4. Hence, they have created a special performance enhancement package for the C63 AMG, called DTE FSR14.

The in-house made chip-tuning have boosted the power and torque of the 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 engine of the emblematic model with 116 hp and 166 Nm. Therefore the horses have grown from 476 hp (350 kW) to 590 hp (434 kW), while the torque from 650 Nm (480 lb-ft) to 816 Nm (602 lb-ft). Now, that’s a thing, isn’t it?

In addition, the development engineers also reshaped the power and torque delivery characteristics, thus ensuring optimum everyday driveability. And in order to ensure maximum performance accompanied by minimum load, DTE-Systems have utilized multi-map technology that offers a choice of driving behavior.
