The European CR-Z hybrid coupe will make its world debut at the 2010 Geneva International Motor Show in March. With sporty looks and agile handling, the CR-Z is the most exciting hybrid yet, promising driving thrills and a cleaner exhaust emissions package.
The CR-Z’s compact 2+2 coupe body and striking design is coupled with a responsive chassis to give nimble handling and direct steering, and a 6-speed manual transmission enhances driving enjoyment. At the 41st Tokyo Motor show, Honda showcased the second concept version of its stylish hybrid coupe – Honda CR-Z Concept 2009, which is a global concept equipped with rear seat. 
Honda Motor Co., Ltd. announced plans to begin sales in Japan of the CR-Z sporty hybrid model in February 2010 and Fit Hybrid before the end of 2010. By combining these two models with the currently available Insight and Civic Hybrid, Honda will further enhance its lineup of compact hybrid models, which leverage the unique characteristics of Honda’s Integrated Motor Assist (IMA), including compact size, lightweight and high efficiency. 
Honda’s low-emission Civic Hybrid stars alongside Keanu Reeves in the Hollywood event blockbuster ‘The Day the Earth Stood Still’, which opened in cinemas across the UK and Ireland on 12 December.
