GeigerCars.de offer a monstrous upgrade pack that grants the Camaro with such tweaks that would make it agile and sort of cornering-capable. Such goodies include a revised 6.2-liter LT4 V8 powertrain that delivers the massive 650hp and 864Nm of torque and a manual six-speed gearbox, especially tuned for this particular project. Also, the 1LE visually is astonishing. The exclusive body kit adds some muscles and definitely reshapes the spirit to a rather sporty one. There are neat matte black and carbon-fiber components, a new and large wing, also made of carbon and Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3R tires that are not only eye-catchers, but also serve some real purpose: these bad boys contribute for better cornering and more confident road behavior.

But let’s get back to the drivetrain, shall we? The massive 6.2-liter monster is tamed by premium Brembo brakes with 6-piston calipers on the front and 4-piston calipers on the rear side. In fact, this combination has managed to shave off a total of 16 seconds on “Nordschleife” racetrack, compared to the Mustang Shelby GT350 R.

The interior has also undergone some stylistic and functional changes: the cabin is sporty-oriented, but this definitely doesn’t mean that it is ugly or Spartan in some kind. GeigerCars.de team has included two-zone automatic air conditioning, Bose premium audio system, heated Recaro sport seats and an exclusive steering wheel.

2016 GeigerCars.de Chevrolet Camaro Back in 1964 Ford has launched the first of the Mustang vehicles and two year later Chevrolet showcased the rival: the mighty Camaro. And since these glorious days these two titans have been delivering us incredible machines and technologies and have ever since tried to dominate each other.

Of course, nowardays the battle is at hand, but there is one more thing going on: premium tuners have tried to leave their mark in the premium automobile segment. One of these is GeigerCars.de team that has decided to take a closer look at the sixt generation Camaro. The one with a 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine, 21-inch wheels and the exclusive Geiger Aero kit. As it seems, the premium tuner has chosen a side.

Karl Geiger and his fellow team upgraded the oil cooler system, software system and of course, the engine itself that now delivers the titanic 630hp (463kW) and 791Nm of torque.

Further upgrades include an optional eight-speed automatic gearbox that delivers more consistent acceleration numbers and contributes to the super-fast sprint of 3,9 seconds for 0 to 100km/h acceleration. Also, in order to ensure better handling, the engineering team has equipped the Camaro with KW-Variant 1 coilover suspension. It contributes to better chassis performance and lowers the overall height. Sweet.

Some futher refinements include neat body kit with new front spoiler, side skirts, rear spoiler and rear valence with diffuser. Also, the bonnet air scoops not only contribute to improved aerodynamics, but also to vehicle’s more aggressive appearance.

Chevy adds more spice: here are some more details for the 2017 Camaro machines! [w/video]

2017 ZL1, the most powerful Camaro produced so far, along with the track-ready 1LE come to show some outstanding performance both on the road and on the track. So, it is expected that, when the vehicles go on sale later this year, they will deliver incredible features for relatively good price: about $69,135 USD for the convertibles. Of course, this price includes destination charge, but excludes taxes, titles and some more dealer fees. Also, there are additional upgrade packs for the Camaro V-6 LT coupe and the V-8 1SS coupe between $4,500 to $6,500 USD. These upgrade packs include some tweaked suspension system, electronic limited-slip differential and Magnetic Ride dampers. Sweet!

2017 Camaro 50th Anniversary Will Be the Pace Car at the Indianapolis 500!

2017 Chevrolet Camaro 50th Anniversary Edition A special version of the 2017 Camaro SS 50th Anniversary Edition will lead the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 next month, personally driven by motorsport legend Roger Penske, who is also marking 50 years as a race team owner. This is the ninth time Camaro has served as the pace car and the 27th time for Chevrolet since 1948.

There are four identically prepared pace vehicles in order to support the race, all with the exclusive Abalone White exterior and the “100th Running of the Indianapolis 500” logo on the quarter panels. The exterior styling also incorporates some elements of the Camaro 50th Anniversary pack.

In case you didn’t know, there is no other racing team that recorded more wins at the Brickyard than Team Penske. The first victory was achieved back in 1972 and since this glorious year the team managed to dominate the track until today.

But what about the vehicle itself? The 50th Anniversary Edition honors the unique looks and performance features that have always been part of the Camaro soul. The model is offered on 2LT and 2SS coupe and convertible models, all with Nightfall Gray Metallic with 50th Anniversary stripe and badges.

Also, part of the standard feature are the distinctive 20-inch 50th Anniversary wheels, unique grille with satin chrome accents, body-colored front splitter, orange brake calipers, black leather interior, distinctive 50th Anniversary treatments on instrument panel, seatbacks, steering wheel and more.

In terms of drivetrain system, the Camaro 2LT comes with a 2.0-liter turbo engine with a total of 275hp (205kW) and a 335hp (250kW) unit as an option. The 2SS features the LT1 6.2-liter V8 with a total of 455hp (339kW), available with six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic gearbox. In fact, the 2SS is by far the most powerful Camaro produced.

Chevy Continues With the Surprises: Red and Black Accent Concepts are Unveiled!

Chevy team finally unveiled two fresh Camaro concept vehicles for SEMA. The special vehicles are indeed Camaro SS Red Accent Concept and Camaro SS Black Accent Concept. Both of them have a lot to demonstrate, so we will waste not a single bit of time. Let’s check them out!

Chevrolet Camaro SS Red Accent Concept model

Based on the SS Convertible, this badass offers red graphics, 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels and Silver Metallic Exterior color scheme. The red-dominated interior offers leather seats, special aluminum door inserts and sporty pedal covers. And let us not forget about the SS floor mats. Cool, right?

When it comes to performance, the Red Accent Concept model, alongside all the special equipment, offers Brembo brakes and fine-tuned lower suspension.

Not that different from the first one, the Black Accent Concept is obviously based on the SS Coupe model and comes with Red Hot exterior color scheme, black ground effect and tinted tailligts. The interior also demonstrates and distinctive black rally stripes, along with the aggressively-looking 20-inch alloy wheels. The interior also comes with leather seating, but this time it is covered with Jet Black leather and special center console lid.

Definitely stylish and aggressively-looking both the Camaro Concepts deserve some attention. After all, Chevy team know how it’s done, right?

2016 Chevrolet Camaro Is Almost Here!

2016 Chevrolet Camaro Finally, Chevrolet announced it starts shipping the latest 2016 Camaro to dealers. The first models will leave the plant this week and will at last be offered to customers in mid-November.

The Gen-Six Camaro will offer even higher levels of performance, compared to its predecessors, along with latest pieces of technology and versatility. Furthermore, the sport machine will offer a total of six all-new engine combinations. There is the special 2.0-Liter Turbo, 3.6-Liter for the LT series and the 455 hp (334 kW) beast in the SS, which will eventually become the most powerful Camaro SS model ever created. Each unit will be paired to an either six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic gearbox.

Further upgrades include the reduction overall weight with 223 to 390 pounds, depending on the model, which contributes to even better responsiveness and driving experience. The stiffer platform and the smaller dimensions do improve vehicle’s versatility, but also have and some contribution to the exterior looks. Also, the fine-tuned wind tunnel further boosts the performance and aerodynamics for even more aggressive rides.

The inside of the vehicle comes with driver-focused components, class-leading technology and features. In fact, now there is a special Driver Mode Selector, tweakable instrument panel and special also customizable ambient lightning feature. And as a modern vehicle, 2016 Camaro also includes and sweet connectivity features: Chevrolet MyLink, Apple CarPlay and OnStar 4G LTE with Wi-Fi Hotspot.
