2016 Chevrolet Malibu and Cruze Ad Fans of horror movies will have the chance to relish an interesting and well-done horror advertisement with an interesting plot twist. Inspired by classic horror stories, Chevrolet draws customer’s attention to the 2016 Malibu and Cruze models in an rather interesting way that includes goosebumps and laughter.

The 60-second video was directed by the well-known Michigan-born filmmarker, Sam Raimi. As you might know, his career was started with the supernatural horror film series Evil Dead that made him the perfect choice to direct a piece of horror for Chevrolet team.

2016 Chevrolet Cruze will be geared with General Motor’s latest and greatest Ecotech small-displacement engine lineup. The new engines offer easier to build parts and of course some wonderful performance features, along with improved efficiency.

And now, the 2016 Chevrolet Cruze will be offered in North America with the Ecotec 1.4-liter unit with direct injection. The powerplant offers GM-estimated 40 mpg on the highway and is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. And the stop/start technology is included as a standard feature. In fact, there is an optional Hydra-Matic6T3 six-speed automatic transmission. It offers smooth and fast shifts. And it also boosts the efficiency of the vehicle. Cool, isn’t it?

Furthermore, the Ecotec 1.4 has a total output of 153 hp (113 kW) and 240 Nm of torque. It will be offered along with the 1.5-Liter naturally aspirated model, that brings 113 hp (84 kW) and 146 Nm of torque. And it will be matched with a five-speed manual transmission.

And it is expected, that Chevrolet will add a completely redesigned engine in 2017. it will include the B20-capable 1.6 diesel unit, that is already proven in Europe.

Facelifted 2015 Chevrolet Aveo Debuts In China

2015 Chevrolet Aveo is being currently introduced to China’s market in a hatchback and sedan body styles. The car is known in North America as Sonic model. The refreshed version of the car has an entirely new front end and rear clip, and in fact these enhancements slightly remind us of 2015 Chevrolet Cruze. The latter has been also unveiled in China a month ago. The car will be offered in four- and five-door configuration. The hatch will go on sale next month and will be followed shortly by its sedan sibling.

Other enhancements here include the new taillights, which will be specifically designed for the sedan. There is also a new rear bumper with a faux diffuser, as well as brand new eight-spoke alloy wheels. We forgot to mention the new rear lights as well.

The front also includes the two-tier style grille. The trunk has been sculpted in the same manner as the new Cruze. Body-colored side mirrors with integrated turn signals will be probably coming as option. In terms of power, the Chinese Aveo retains the same 1.4-liter DVVT engine coupled with the six-speed manual gearbox. The powerplant delivers up to 97 horsepower (71 kW).

Chevrolet To Show 2015 Cruze In New York

2015 Chevrolet Cruze will debut at the New York International Auto Show. It will show there its revised exterior and interior, as well as a range of technologies introduced for the first time. Some of them include new Text Message Alerts, Apple Siri integration and OnStar 4G LTE with available Wi-Fi hotspot. The updates on the interior include revised cupholders, trunk release relocated to the center console and door lock switches relocated from the center console to the front doors.

2015 Cruze lineup includes Cruze Eco and Cruze Diesel, both delivering 151 horsepower (111 kW) and 358 Nm (264 lb-ft) of torque. In terms of safety feature, the car includes 10 standard air bags including side-impact and knee air bags for front passengers, side blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert, rear park assist and a rearview camera.

New for the model is the enhanced connectivity which is possible via the new Text Message Alerts feature for smartphone users with Bluetooth profile. This technology reads incoming texts through the vehicle’s speakers. In addition, there is also included Siri Eyes Free for iPhone iOS 6 and iOS 7 users that enables voice-controlled connectivity.

Additional standard and available features in the 2015 Cruze include seven-inch-diagonal color touch screen and additional USB ports, OnStar 4G LTE with built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, OnStar and MyLink enhancements with natural language voice recognition, available Chevrolet AppShop and navigation.

2014 Chevrolet Cruze Clean Turbo Diesel With Featured Overboost

2014 Chevrolet Cruze Clean Turbo Diesel will now offer to its customers quick off-the-line acceleration and at the same time which is combined with great fuel efficiency. This is possible thanks to the utilization of a turbocharging feature called “overboost”.

The vehicle uses a diesel turbocharged 2.0L engine which generates 151 horsepower (113 kW) and 264 lb-ft of torque (358 Nm). 2014 Chevrolet Cruze Clean Turbo Diesel has been officially unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show and it is going to enter U.S. and Canadian diesel car markets this summer. This Chevrolet model is equipped with a 2.0L turbo-diesel version which is in fact the cleanest diesel passenger car engine.

Cruze Clean Turbo Diesel delivers a combination of segment-leading features and efficiency. The turbo-diesel generates 148 horsepower (110 kW) and 258 lb-ft torque (350 Nm). The acceleration time needed for the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h is just 8.6 seconds.

Furthermore, the engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. In addition, the vehicle includes the following equipment: four-wheel antilock disc brakes, 3.20 final drive ratio, 140-amp alternator, 800 cold-cranking amps battery, 17-inch alloy wheels, ultra-low-rolling resistance all-season tires, rear spoiler, Aero Performance Package and leather-appointed seating.
