  • The six-wheeled Civil Carrier is here! Kahn Design is eager to present it!

2018 Kahn Design Land Rover Defender Civil Carrier Chelsea Truck Company reveals plans for building a concept machine, based on the Land Rover Defender 110. Afzal Kahn and his fellow teammates have decided to use conventional techniques, along with cutting edge technologies for this one and as it seems, once again they have made the right choice.

The vehicle itself, named Civilian Carrier, is a bit longer than the usual Defender and it is packed with tons of exclusive features. First of all, it is finished in Volcanic Rock color scheme and showcases new front wings, vents and a revised X-Lander front grille.

At the rear we see fresh new B pillars, LED headlights and all of this topped with a panoramic roof. Cool. And as part of the project, there is added a third axle. In fact, this is the most notable and cooled feature in the project. The additional axle contributes to this super-aggressive appearance and power. Incredible!

As it is apparent, this machine is especially built for rough off-road terrain: this is not only notable by the exterior looks. It is also hidden within the drivetrain system. The Civilian Carrier features hi-lo ratio drive system with locking differentials, rugged heavy duty chassis (of course), and fine-tuned braking system.

In terms of interior, the vehicle has a lot to demonstrate. First, the factory seats have been replaced with exclusive Kahn quilted seats and all nine of these offer comfort and pleasurable ride. Driver and passengers will also enjoy the ample interior space and overall premium feel.

  • Chelsea Truck Company Debuts the Jeep Wrangler Black Hawk Edition in Geneva

Kahn Jeep Wrangler CTC Black Hawk Edition Front ViewChelsea Truck Company Jeep Wrangler Black Hawk Edition debuts at Kahn’s stand at the Geneva Motor Show alongside the Vengeance. The special edition Jeep was teased with a sketch drawing recently, but it didn’t show the vast beauty that the vehicle has been actually endowed with. As a matter of fact, the styling pack mimics Chelsea Truck Company’s Land Rover Defender Wide Track pack and has many similarities in the design. And here are the details.

    The Exterior

Starting off with the exterior color, the Wrangler has been painted in Volcanic Rock. It perfectly complements the aggressive wide wheel arches (that are entirely redesigned), the new grille and bumper assembly. At the front of the vehicle we see the four-slot grille with industrial mesh that is emblematic for the Chelsea Truck Company (CTC). It is flanked by two smoked headlights.

Furthermore, the front is also adorned by vented Iron Man bonnet, Piano Black door handles a fuel filler cap and mirrors, Tron Ring lights and horizontal LED DRLs, while the rear CTC’s iconic spare wheel cover.

A new set of Kahn wheels are always preliminary for tuner’s modifications and they are complemented by painted brake callipers and a quad- cross-hair exhaust system.

    The Interior

The cabin of this Jeep Wrangler looks even better! The front and rear seats have been wrapped in brick-red quilted and perforated honeycomb leather that is contrasted with gold top stitching. The same material is used for the centre glove box and arm rests, while the absolutely new in-house made steering wheel will offer the driver greater grip and more comfort.

Kahn Jeep Wrangler CTC Black Hawk Edition will be available in petrol and diesel variant, in both right hand and left hand drive. The exterior styling package will be available to purchase soon.

  • Kahn Design and the Volcanic Jeep Wrangler Sahara CTC

Kahn Jeep Wrangler Sahara CTC Side ViewIt is Friday and we are absolutely ready to let you know of this week’s project of the tuners at Kahn Design. Under their expertise is the Jeep Wrangler. Involved in the making of this customization is also Chelsea Truck Company, so we definitely expect the best treatment that can be offered for this car. We know that Kahn Design likes to make thing perfect inside and out, so let’s see what they have done to the exterior of the beautiful Wrangler.

    Exterior

The CJ300 LE has a vibrant paint scheme, called Volcanic Rock. It has been contrasted via Satin Black door handles, mirrors, roof and fuel filler cap. The same grayish theme is used for the front where we see two shadow chrome headlights, sitting on either side of the four-slot Chelsea Tuck Company grille with industrial mesh.

We can assure you that this vehicle is Kahn’s via the new Chelsea Truck Company spare wheel cover, Kahn enamel tailgate logo, and fender shields. Silver Platinum 20-inch Jeep 1986 wheels were fitted with 275/55/20″ tyres, behind which sit Liquid Gold brake callipers. At last grabbing the attention is the quad cross-hair exhaust system sitting beneath the rear bumper.

    Interior

Proceeding to the interior, it is as luxurious as you might imagine it to be, if you are following closely Kahn’s work. It can’t be viewed from the outside, because up front is a privacy-tinted glass. Once you step inside, you experience the comfortability of brand new front and rear seats wrapped in quilted and perforated black leather. By the way, the same approach has been used for the centre console and arm rests.

The last details were added with the stainless steel door entry sill plates, toughened rubber floor mats, and machined vented foot pedals. And there is a complement by the tuner. The person who will get this beautiful machine will also receive an elegant Chelsea Truck Company watch with machined Stainless Steel case with black PVD coating and tough mineral glass. The perfect attribute for this beautiful Wrangler, isn’t it?
