  • Jaguar XJC by Carlex Design

    Jaguar XJC by Carlex Design

The jaguar is a night predator. This quiet, roaring beauty has enough moxie to take on a croc. It is the firmest cat of the Western Hemisphere. Which car symbolises this unique beast? It is obviously the iconic Jaguar XJ, created by William Lyons, the follower of the great 240/340.

It was definitely a great challenge to amend the car’s perfect predecessor – the essence of elegance and prestige. In 1968, though, the follower was presented, which remained virtually unchanged for almost 25 years – 11 years as Mk I and Mk II, and the next 13 years after a slight makeover by Pininfarina. It was still all about the same, beautiful and slender silhouette. The car’s crowning version was the XJC – the XJ Coupé, manufactured only as Mk II from 1975 to 1978 in the quantity of almost 10,500 vehicles. A true black panther among Jaguars, made only in Coventry with its twin Daimler. It is elegant, fast and absolutely outstanding, and has always been the showcase of the brand and the object of desire of drivers, willing to sit at the steering wheel rather than on the back seat.

My name is XJ… XJ Coupé 2.0 – sounds like a perfect line introducing the 2021 XJC by Carlex Design. It’s the same character but the latest technology: the 400 HP V8 engine, the new gearbox, brakes, rims and suspension. The best genes of the Jaguar family. A smooth ride, comfort and luxury – the essence of the 21st century, topped with exotic wood, top quality leather and carefully mastered details. It will definitely meet the requirements of the most demanding fans of classic cars and… those who simply enjoy a great ride. Carbon makes the car body tougher and relatively light, and the rollbar protects the driver and the passenger and provides greater durability. The British Racing Green shade perfectly complements the car’s unique style and look. What is missing? Plastic and repeatability of most contemporary cars. It will be an exceptional Jag. The one everybody would like to have in their garage.

  • Carlex Design interprets the fascinating 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback

1967 Ford Mustang Fastback by Carlex Design exterior

The iconic muscle car gets unparalleled interior design

Among the best interior tuning designers out there is undoubtedly Carlex Design. And by tuning the cabin of this 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback they have done literally the unimaginable: the experts have created a space that looks like a fine art. It is a stunning mixture of the old and new, which highlights the intense character of the most iconic of all Mustangs.

On the outside, the classic car looks like it has just gotten out of the production line. Well, there is a single change though: the slight modification of the suspension for a more modern one and suitable for European roads.

With the aim to retain the original character of the vehicle and to do something more special to the exterior, the interior designers decided to do something more than exceptional. To contrast the bright blue exterior, Carlex Design left the interior in dark colors.

In terms of materials, the upholstery is a combination of black nubuck and leather, while carbon fiber has been extensively to add sportier looks. Intriguingly emossed cut pattern and additional thick thread stitching on the seats of the original Mustang look like the link between the modern and the original designs of the car. Handmade silver screw caps, merit of Carlex Design Jeweller’s Atelier, and the chrome elements of the clock and speedometer bezels perfectly break the dark theme of the cabin.

Below the waistline, we see that the entire floor was lined with smooth black leather and then fitted with custom made mats. An interesting design decision is to add carbon fiber on the entire hub of the three-spoke steering wheel of the Mustang. In combination with the silver looks it stands out really posh. The lightweight material can also be seen on the central console, door boards and the dashboard.

This interpretation of 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback is an example how a design that isn’t flashy or overdone could still be innovative.

  • Carlex Design Refreshes The Interior Of a Lucky R-Class Car!

2015 Carlex Design Merdeces-Benz G-ClassCarlex Design decided to give some spark to that not-so-popular Mercedes R-Class model with some tuning and visual refreshments. The R-Class, especially made for the Chinese market, underwent comprehensive tests and experiments. For example, the interior is now refreshed and fits better the glossy all-black exterior appearance. Offering Alcantara leather and enhanced comfort, the cabin is really a sweet place for one to be. Just look at the driver’s seat, the front console and the overall calming and cozy ambience that the team created.

In fact, there is also a hippopotamus leather incorporated in the front seats, which ultimately enhances the feeling of quality and exclusivity. Also important element is the dominating color. The always-modern and stylish black scheme is the preferred choice by the team. We should immediately mention that it does not bring that much of “dark” in the cabin, but just the opposite. The dominating dark tones really contribute to that feel of warmth and comfort and also fits well with that well-known and notorious Mercedes-Benz style and appearance.

Apparently focusing mainly on the interior style, Carlex Design definitely went for that comfort-delivering approach. And frankly, the combination of a trustworthy Mercedes vehicle and exclusively enhanced cabin design would make any Merdeces-Benz skeptic reconsider his opinion about the brand and what it has to offer. Especially with some attention by professionals like Carlex Design.

  • Bumblebee Inside and Out: Meet Carlex Design Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

Carlex Design Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Side ViewBumblebee is probably everyone’s favorite Chevrolet Camaro model and especially in the case they are ‘Transformers’ series fans. The popular car is dressed in the aggressive color combination of black and blue and its interior has been made all black. And here is where Carlex Design tuners have found a flaw. Wouldn’t it be more harmonious if cabin’s design theme is in black and yellow too? The answer to this question is positive and here is the result.

The new striking cabin of the Bumblebee is due to the work of the talented designers at the Carlex Design. As you can see it is in perfect harmony with the exterior of the car. By the way, this particular unit comes from the model year 2014, but this doesn’t hamper us of admiring it.

So, what did happen to the cabin? The transformed and improved interior highlights the sharp lines of the chassis, but at the same time it does other things and they are regarding the materials used inside.

Here are the details: The clearly visible contrast has been created via the use of ultra rich black Nappa leather and the vivid yellow tone of the leather from Lamborghini range. As a result, the designers achieved an internal compliment to the external distinctiveness of body’s appearance.

Even more, the experts also added some artistic airbrush painting applied to the decorative parts of the dashboard and door panels. How cool is that? What do you think: should the Bumblebee be produced as a standard with this bi-tone interior or should it keep its black one?

  • Ferrari 458 Spider Concept by Carlex Design Looks Astounding!

Ferrari 458 Spider Concept by Carlex Design - Exterior Ferrari 458 Spider has received an extreme appearance, both inside and outside. Although only in a concept variant, this car is the current project on which the experts at Carlex Design Studio are working and concentrating efforts. They have just released their interpretation of the 458 Spider in five images (sketches actually) at their official Facebook page.

A fortunate fact is that the tuners said that these conceptual drawings will be soon transformed into reality.

Carlex Design Ferrari 458 Spider Concept Exterior

Although there isn’t much of information released, what we see is really pleasing and spoils the eyes. The first two pictures display the one-off exterior design of this Ferrari. It is painted in clean white color. It features black stripes on the hood and roof, and contrasting carbon fiber elements like the rearview mirrors.

SEE ALSO: Liberty Walk and SR Auto Roll Out Insane Ferrari 458 Spider

The wheels are also decided in black; they are with V-spoke design and are fitted with huge low-profile rubbers. All in all the exterior design look fantastic and we are impatient to eventually see it taking real shape.

Carlex Design Ferrari 458 Spider Concept Interior

Ferrari 458 Spider Concept by Carlex Design - Iterior

The cabin of this particular Ferrari 458 Spider Concept looks even better. It is infused in two contrasting colors: black and red, which is the perfect choice for the white exterior (in my opinion).

It is visible that the interior is bold and intense and almost blood-re. It features two-tone leather and Alcantara upholstery, starting from the steering-wheel, continuing through the door panels and dashboard, and ending up with the seats. There are a lot of dark accents, additional contrast stitching and leather inserts.

    Drivetrain

There is no data released whether this car will feature any changes for its engine. If all stays intact, then this beautiful Ferrari 458 Spider will be driven 4.5 liters V8 engine, producing 605 hp (478 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque at 6000 rpm. This will allow the supercar to reach 0-100 km (0-62 mph) in just 3.0 seconds.

But don’t you think that this exceptional design deserves an engine uprate?

  • Carlex Design with Another Fantastic Project: Z4 Rampant

Carlex Design BMW Z4 Side ViewBMW Z4 Rampant is the lane of the latest design project of the tuners at Carlex Design. They have become so famous because of their exquisite and detailed work. Just take a look at any of their projects and you’ll see what I’m talking about. This BMW is no exception. The car looks breath-taking due to its heavy customization.

    Exterior

The unique design of the first generation Z4 roadster combines perfectly contemporary shapes with the stance and structure of model. The exterior has been covered with a two-tone silver and grey foil, thus giving the car its unique visual appearance.

SEE ALSO: This is Carlex Design BMW M3 the Black Spinell!

What is more, the “outside” design is also characterized by the gun metal alloys and the custom front and rear bumpers. In addition, at the back we see the presence of a quad exhaust system and one-off carbon fiber rear diffuser.

    Interior

From the inside, the vehicle is even more heavily customized. The tuners have used exceptional aniline grade leathers that seem vintage, like the black Alcantara and buffalo leather for example. They have been complemented by hand painted carbon parts. Even the audio system was covered with paint.

This one-off combination of style, textures and colors perfectly matches the untamed spirit of the V8 engine under the bonnet of the Z4, doesn’t it?

  • Audi A6 Honeycomb: Punchy, Stylish, Dazzling

For the experts at Carlex Design difficulty means nothing and challenge equals an opportunity to impress. With a sting to it, the specialists from Carlex Design released into the internet space their dazzling redesigned Audi A6 Honeycomb.

The red and black combination used for the interior shapes a vehicle of excellence and distinctive supremacy. The car will not just make you dream of it, it will make you dream about it, live and breathe for it.

Some of the experts from Carlex Design claimed that; “We had at our disposal the modern Audi interior with brilliant seats which were the excellent starting point for making our unique concepts a reality. The project design was approved unanimously.”

One of the most intriguing and not-so-simple tasks in the transformation of the A6 proved to be the re-trimming process. But as it seems, Carlex Design successfully managed to deal with this difficulty because the result is just splendid.

This time, though, the more intensive use of saturated black creates rather discrete appeal and elegant look. There is also a punchy honeycomb overstitching contours which put emphasis on the sporty spirit of the Audi A6 Honeycomb. The intriguing forms and colors crafted a phenomenal interior that really stands out. Not betraying its nature, Carlex company used a high quality nappa leathers from Bentley range, mixing them with the exclusive honeycomb overstitching. All of those underlining refined characteristics plus the shape of the seats unleash the full capacity and genuineness of the A6.

What do you think? Thumbs up or thumbs down?

  • Porsche 911 and The New Blue Electric Carlex Design

After doing several BMW Z4s, the interior professional Carlex Design took a step further and exceeded their skills by working on Porsche 911, bestowing extravagant quantities upon it.

They call it the Blue Electric and it does indeed electrify the drivers’ senses. Being shiny blue on the outside, this particular classic model of Porsche 911 receives a distinctive enhancements on the inside which outline the vehicle in the best way possible. The Blue Electric 911 project accomplished by Carlex Design, brings the highest quality of interior improvements.

Accessorized in black nappa with dark blue leather and even slightly darker blue accents all of which cover every inch of the cabin, the new acquisitions not only match the unique overall look of the Porsche but underline the car’s distinctive sporty body shape too. Even the seatbelts are changed. They are redesigned in a color that suits the color of the interior and also match the exterior of the car.

It is obvious that every element is planned and crafted with extreme thought and care. Every single detail stays perfectly well on its place. Some of the previous features of the Porsche 911 that used to be made of brushed aluminum, are now replaced with semi-gloss graphite trim pieces, thus putting emphasis on the internal styling.

Along with all the interior alterations come the redesigned carbon sport bucket seats which are changed with the firm’s signature design.  By looking at the car, one comes to realize that the interior specialist Carlex Design has given once more an outstanding treatment that will make a lasting point in the car industry.

  • Carlex Design BMW Z4 E89 – Awesome!

Carlex Design has published several nice pictures of a heavily modified BMW Z4 E89. The stylish roadster received a unique look – exterior and interior by the tuning company. The new vision is truly impressive and even hardcore BMW fans (like me) like it, a lot.

The inspiration for the project is taken from a sub-genre of science fiction. The tuning specialists from Poland created a stunning combination of brass and Alcantara with different types of dark leather. The roll bars behind the seats as well as the door handles, transmission tunnel and some sections of the dashboard received brass treatment, while the seats and the steering wheel are finished in fine dark leather with contrasting stitches.

The exterior boasts a complete matte black foiling combined with a copper finish for the roof and the new enormous alloy wheels.

No words about performance modifications, but the heavily tuned Z4 by Carlex is enough impressive even without hundreds of horsepower under the long front hood. Still, the small roadster is pretty quick even in its least powerful version – sDrive18i powered by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine – 156HP (115 kW) and 200Nm (148 lb-ft). 0-100 km/h in 8.1 seconds and a top speed of 220 km/h (138 mph).

    Enjoy the pictures!

  • Carlex Design Interior for 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class

Carlex Design has published several pictures of their customization program for the new 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W222). The luxurious saloon is on the market for several months and is one of the best-selling in its segment. Mercedes-Benz is also offering S-Class Edition 1, but it can’t even touch the impressive interior by Carlex Design.

The tuning company has surpassed almost everybody, when it comes to luxurious interiors. All metal elements of the Mercedes-Benz’s flagship sedan are covered in pure 24K gold. Almost all parts are covered in gold including air vents, speaker covers, door handles, air vents, emblems and the steering wheel-mounted buttons. If you think that is too much, you have to check the full leather upholstery from crocodile skin. The seats, center console, both armrests as well as the door panels and the dashboard are covered in crocodile skin.

Carlex Design has turned the interior of the new S-Class in a place that can shelter princes and princesses without any concerns. Of course, the hardcore fans of Mercedes-Benz won’t appreciate the flashy interior, but who cares, when you can sit on heated and vented seats with massage functions covered in crocodile skin.

2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is priced from £62,650 in the UK and $95,900. Carlex Design didn’t reveal any pricing for the customization program, but it won’t be cheap… at all!
