  • Capristo Automotive took a closer look to one more Ferrari vehicle

2016 Capristo Automotive Ferrari 488 GTSCapristo Automotive has shown its first masterpiece six years ago and since this glorious moment the passionate team has showcased some incredible projects. It all started with a special Ferrari 458 body kit that is still one of brand’s most successful products. Nowardays, the team decides that the next step should be undertaken and demonstrates the latest and greatest carbon-fiber bonnet for Ferrari 488 GTS.

This pack adds some sweet optical refinement to the vehicle and contributes to the elegant and super sexy appearance. The Capristo pack includes a front splitter for some aggressive kick, neat side wings, taillight covers, mirror caps, rear air guide panel, side air panels, and fresh carbon-fiber bonnet. Sweet.

There is something particular that we like about this project. It is indeed that the design team has managed to keep the presence of the Ferrari as close to the original as possible and at the same time manages to boost that hidden aggressiveness and super-sportiness. And as any other premium brand, Capriso Automotive has showcased perfection in the small details: they are as expressive as the whole exterior body language. Definitely an eye-catcher. There is also something else: the blue color. Usually it is sort of a must for a Ferrari to bear a passionate red finish, but this one is different. And it is also beautiful. Definitely.

  • Capristo Automotive Shows the Real Capability of Ferrari 488 GTB

Capristo Automotive Ferrari 488 GTB Side viewFerrari 488 GTB is hell of a car. But Capristo Automotive has ways of bringing out even more from it, without adding too much extra equipment. Hence, the company has developed innovative twin flow catalyst and carbon styling parts for the Italian sports car. Oh, and as a matter of fact they will pull out way more than the standard (but impressive) 670 hp from the twin-turbo V8 engine it uses.

At the core of Capristo Automotive’s Ferrari 488 upgrade is the high quality sports exhausts that delivers more power and a far greater sound. The system also features valve control and a unique twin flow catalyst.

In this project the development engineers set goals to achieve including to bring out maximum performance and best possible sound, as well as to make the changes fully compatibility with the factory electronic systems.

When the engine is started, the twin flow catalyst system sends a portion of the exhaust gases through a high-density catalyst field. In addition, there is a Lambda sensor taking measurements for the ECU. The rest of the exhaust gases are routed through the integrated catalytic converter replacement pipe, which optimally tunes both gas flow and soundtrack.

Furthermore, the Ferrari underwent a development program, including 2,000 km of road and track testing. With some other modifications, the dynamometer recorded 740 hp coming out from the tuned 488 GTB, which is an addition of 70 hp!

Besides the performance update, the supercar also received styling kit. It is entirely made of carbon-fiber and it serves in means of differentiating the Capristo Ferrari 488 from the standard ones. There is for example a front splitter, which gives the nose a more aggressive appearance. In addition, it provides more downforce at speed. At last, the carbon fiber side sill extensions, the aerodynamic exterior mirrors and fuel cap round out the tuning of the Ferrari GTB.

  • Capristo With Another Ferrari 458 Spider

    Capristo-Ferrari-458-Spider-shadowCapristo-Ferrari-458-Spider-medium

There doesn’t seem to be something out of the ordinary with this Capristo Ferrari 458 Spider. Yes, it’s shockingly yellow, but there are no bumpers, or skirts, or diffusers, or wings, stuff that you’d normally find on an after market product. It is an universal truth that the 458 needs little improvement, yet this one does sport a few changes here and there.

Take the engine cover/lid for example – its entirely new. Capristo’s reasoning is that the standard one is too obstructive, hindering the vista of the glorious V8 that hides underneath. This one, as you can see, is rather transparent. Not only that but it now has more vents and bigger air-scoops for an increased stream of cooling air. You’d think that a Ferrari doesn’t need any adjustments in the thermodynamic compartment, but there might be some logic behind the Capristo 458’s flamboyant ports. See, the Sundern-based company also bolted on a bigger airbox from “baked carbon” which, supposedly, increases the torque with 25 Nm.

Add to that a custom-made exhaust system, and you have a brilliantly sounding yellow jacket that stings with 562 hp and 565 Nm. Ouch!

This is not the first time Capristo have enhanced a 458 Spider with their idea of an engine cover

  • Capristo Ferrari 458 Spider Shows New Hood

Capristo-Ferrari-458-Spider-THUMBCapristo Ferrari 458 Spider has come to amaze the automotive world even more, not only with its natural Ferrari 458 Spider characteristics but also with its new “noble” hood. The 458 Spider debuted back in 2011 differing from the coupe version with its metal roof of aluminum which disappears under the engine hood in only 14 seconds.

In this current transformation we have more aesthetic element rather then power increase or something related. To be more precise, the cover of the Ferrari has been remade by the specialist from Capristo team.

They have created an engine cover that allows these abundant envious looks of the engine. With the centrally lengthwise inlaid glass, the desired view of the V8 rumble-engine is again free. In addition, this results not only in better look, but also in better cooling thanks to the additional vents in the new engine cover.

  • Capristo Lamborghini Aventador Carbon

Capristo Exhaust Systems has announced their latest project based on Lamborghini Aventador.

LP700-4 is powered by a 6.5 liter V12 with 700PS (515 kW) and 690Nm (509 lb-ft). The engine is coupled to a 7-speed ISR gearbox specially supplied by Graziano Trasmissioni Group. The shift time is just 50 milliseconds. The power is put on the road through a Haldex AWD system. 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).

The gross weight of the vehicle is 1575 kg (3472 lbs).

This makes Aventador LP700-4 one of the fastest cars on the planet not only in straight line, but at the racetracks, too.

However, this is not enough for Capristo, so with their specially prepared exhaust system, the car is even faster – 1/10th of a second faster than before – 2.8 seconds to 100 km/h and 3 km/h more to the top speed – 353 km/h (219 mph).

Even more pronounced of exchanging plastic components with 100% carbon-fiber one. The overall weight is reduced by 40kg, which mainly affects power-to-weight ratio.
