Chrysler Canada’s sales grew seven percent in May (27,325 units) and extended the unprecedented streak of year-over-year sales increases to 22 consecutive months. May sales were driven by Chrysler’s one-two punch of their all-new minivans and the newly crowned most popular crossover in Canada, the Dodge Journey. Sales were also bolstered by the increased demand for fuel-efficient vehicles such as the Jeep® Patriot and Dodge Caliber. (more…)

BMW Group Canada achieves record May sales
Whitby, Ontario. BMW Group Canada reported today record May sales of 3,324 BMW and MINI vehicles, up 6.1% over May 2007. Year-to-date BMW and MINI sales are 10,622 units, a slight decrease of 3.3% over the same period last year.
The BMW brand set a new May sales record of 2,747 units, up 1.0% over May last year. Year-to-date, 8,892 BMWs have been sold, a slight 6.4% decline over last year. (more…)
