Karl Geiger and his fellow team upgraded the oil cooler system, software system and of course, the engine itself that now delivers the titanic 630hp (463kW) and 791Nm of torque.

Further upgrades include an optional eight-speed automatic gearbox that delivers more consistent acceleration numbers and contributes to the super-fast sprint of 3,9 seconds for 0 to 100km/h acceleration. Also, in order to ensure better handling, the engineering team has equipped the Camaro with KW-Variant 1 coilover suspension. It contributes to better chassis performance and lowers the overall height. Sweet.

  • Transformers 5 Bumblebee based on Chevy Camaro to go into production?

Transformers 5 Bumblebee front and side viewTransformers: The Last Knight is the fifth episode of the movie series, which is about to be released on 23rd of June next year. There is more than a year to go, but still the interest among fans is very high. Director Michael Bay knows that and has just published the first image of the Bumblebee, based on the Chevy Camaro and specifically made for the film.If you remember the last time Bay done this (previewing the Bumblebee Concept for the Transformers 4), then you should also know that it caused a little bit of disappointment among fans. They thought that the car is more than “overdone” and that it has nothing to do with reality (pictures included in the link below).

SEE ALSO: 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Bumblebee Concept – Transformers 4

Unlike the previous version, the new Bumblebee features an aggressive front fascia, which looks a lot like the recently released 2017 Camaro. This actually hints to the fact that the concept might actually hit production. Or? We don’t have enough details to confirm that, but we are still hoping. What do we see here? The Bumblebee above features a lot more than an aggressive body kit. It exudes style and temper, which is the perfect combination needed for future blockbusters like Transformers 5. However, the changes we see here are a brand new front splitter and ventilated vents, ventilated hood, air ducts as well as LED fog lights. The sides are adorned by new skiers, while the rear carries a brand new carbon made wing. And have you spotted the black paint coated five-spoke alloys? Aren’t they cool? The only problem we have with the production variant of this car is that it would be extremely expensive and will have a very limited market. If… it happens. After all, the audience is mainly under 18. More teasers are coming so stay tuned!

  • Chevrolet Camaro Funny Car is back to deliver more downforce than ever!

2016 Chevrolet Camaro Funny Car side viewDo you remember the strangely attractive Chevrolet Camaro Funny Car, which debuted a year ago? It was made by John Force Racing and caused a great furor in the automotive world. For the new model year, Chevrolet and 16-time NHRA champion John Force introduced the 2016 Camaro SS Funny Car. The better news is that you can see it this weekend, because it he will race with it this weekend at the NHRA Kansas Nationals.

What do we see here? It is obvious that the Funny Car’s body is based on the sixth-generation Camaro SS. It carries its distinctive styling characteristics, like the front- and rear-end designs. In addition, the vehicle has been aero-optimized and its body was developed for extreme downforce and stability.

SEE ALSO: John Force and Chevrolet Reveal the 2015 Camaro Funny Car

As a matter of fact, after a computational analysis and scale-model wind tunnel testing, the team gace airflow management qualities of the body that deliver downforce required by the 10,000-horsepower supercharged race car, as it accelerates from 0 to 330 mph in less than 4 seconds.

2016 Chevrolet Camaro Funny Car and John Force

You maybe wondering now, which are these unique aerodynamic elements? For instance, there is a new integrated front splitter, which directs more air over the body to increase downforce. Furthermore, the team added dual blow-out (“burst”) panels, which relieve underbody pressure to help keep the body on the chassis. Another beneficial fact is that the new body weighs less then the previous Camaro Funny Car bodies.

The conclusion is that when two great companies work together to achieve a goal, the result not only looks great, but also surpasses what has been achieved so far. 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Funny Car was designed to perform better than ever before!

  • DF Automotive Tunes Flying Uwe’s Chevrolet Camaro

DF Automotive Chevrolet Camaro Front ViewWhat happens when you combine a Chevy Camaro, a martial artists and experts in tuning? The answer is probably something like the car we see here. To be more precise this Camaro is property of the martial artist Uwe Schuder, better known as the “Flying Uwe”. He is not “just another” fitness or kung fu star, but has joined the filming of “Transformers”. This eventually made him fulfilled his automobile wish dream to own the famous Chevrolet muscle car.

Of course, the 26-year-old star turned had to make his Camaro “one-and-only” and for this reason he turned for help to DF Automotive. They stepped in by offering and applying some custom made goodies, giving the car more purposeful look and individually.

DF Automotive Chevrolet Camaro Rear View

As we can see, DF Automotive also changed the exhaust. Made by Supersprint and installed by the DF Automotive, this exhaust weighs less and sounds better, thus optimizing car’s performance. The last change made here (but not the least of importance) is the addition of KW variant 3 coilovers with adjustable pressure and tension stages. They lend the car very special driving dynamics.

In this configuration, I’m sure that the Camaro is the perfect ship for the Flying Uwe.
