Upcoming Bentley SUV is Changing Standards! [VIDEO]

Bentley SUV will definitely change how we all think about all-terrain vehicles. The key word here is “luxury”. According to company’s philosophy, the SUV will be both supremely capable in any environment, as well as supremely comfortable. And this is what we can make as a conclusion from the last teaser video, which has just been released. Thanks to it (by the way you can watch it below), we can see that the upcoming model will feature the familiar grille that is flanked by circular headlights, inspired by the Continental.

What is more, the crossover will also boast front fender vents and muscular rear fenders, roof rails and a unique tailgate. The video clearly shows that this Bentley will be adorned by hand-stitched leather upholstery.

We continue expecting a remake of Bentley EXP 9 F SUV Concept which was introduced two years ago in Geneva. It exudes the same muscularity and robustness, and at the same time bold and dynamic exterior.

Just unlike concept’s engine, which is the 6.0 litre twin-turbocharged W12, the production crossover will be powered by it as well as by the other option: 4.0-liter V8 unit. A plug-in hybrid variant is planned for 2017. The 6.0 litre engine is coupled with an eight-speed transmission and develops 600 hp (441 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque.

The new SUV is currently being prepared for production and is scheduled to hit roads in 2016.

Bentley Teases Its First Production SUV [VIDEO]

Bentley SUV will arrive very soon! The countdown to the arrival has already begun and we are impatiently waiting to see the model. Bentley has dedicated to create world’s most powerful and luxurious SUV and thus set new standards in bespoke craftsmanship and performance. The current teaser is in video form and offers a rare glimpse of the company’s design approach. What is more – it shows how the exterior of this remarkable new car.

As we can see it features the emblematic sculpted, contemporary and distinctive design of Bentley’s, but also gives a hint that it is being combined with the exquisite and meticulous detailing.

As far as we can tell, the SUV’s front will probably be much like the 2012 Bentley EXP 9 F SUV Concept. The latter was introduced in Geneva, showing off flowing surfaces, muscularity and robustness, bold and dynamic exterior.

Both the concept and the SUV have the matrix grille, but the difference is that the headlamps of the SUV were inspired by those of Continental.

EXP 9 F Concept utilized company’s 6.0 litre, twin-turbocharged W12 engine coupled with an eight-speed transmission. The powertrain develops 600 hp (441 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. And we are wondering whether it will be featured in the production model.

Bentley only revealed that one of the powerplant options will be the plug-in hybrid that will be introduced in 2017. The new SUV is currently being prepared for production and is scheduled to hit roads in 2016.

Bentley Unveils First Plug-in Hybrid Concept

Bentley Hybrid Concept is a preview of a powerful and efficient future car. It is the first Bentley plug-in hybrid model, which is set to be a dedicated version of the new SUV. The latter was teased last month with an image showing its grille and information for production plans, starting in 2016. The luxury company has also disclosed that the car will be available in dealerships in 2017. As for Bentley Hybrid Concept, it will be on display at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition on 20th of April.

As a matter of fact, Bentley is the first luxury brand to present a plug-in hybrid powertrain choice to the automotive sector. The plug-in hybrid system will offer a power increase of up to 25% together with a 70% reduction in CO2 emissions.

Furthermore, the hybrid will be capable of driving at least 50 km on electric power alone. Bentley Hybrid Concept vehicle is built upon Mulsanne. We see copper used as an exterior and interior styling element. It also emphasizes car’s “electrical veins”.

This material can be seen on the headlamps, radiator shell bezel, brake calipers, feature line details and badges. Inside, copper accents are present on the inserts of the veneers fascias, switch bezels and instruments. At last, copper cross stitching to the Mulliner Driving Specification diamond-quilted interior rounds out the luxury design treatment.

Bentley Offers First Glimpse Of New Production SUV [TEASER]

The first picture of the future production Bentley SUV has been just released. The image doesn’t show much except for the front end of the car, showcasing brand’s traditional design. The new SUV is currently being prepared for production and is scheduled to hit roads in 2016.

Bentley also disclosed that this vehicle will be the most luxurious and powerful SUV to be found on the market. It will embody brand’s hallmarks of luxury, performance, quality and craftsmanship.

As far as we can tell from the teaser picture, the SUV’s front will slightly differ from the 2012 Bentley EXP 9 F SUV Concept that debuted in Geneva two years ago. EXP 9 F got flowing surfaces, muscularity and robustness, bold and dynamic exterior.

Both the concept and the production SUV have the same iconic for the brand matrix grille. However the there is a difference in the headlamps – the new SUV obviously got those of Continental.

We are also wondering whether we are to see the same engine used for the EXP 9 F Concept, namely Bentley’s 6.0 litre, twin-turbocharged W12 one, which was coupled with an eight-speed transmission.
