Vilner Bentley Continental GT Teased Again [VIDEO]

At the end of the last month we were extremely excited to receive the news that the luxury tuning specialists at the Bulgarian company Vilner have a new exciting project. This time they have put all their efforts and attention towards giving an entire make-over to a Bentley Continental GT model.

Now, just days ahead of the official reveal of the transformed car, they have sent us a video, which shows the creative process in designing this unique project. Of course, you can view the footage below and get inspired.

What is important to highlight here is that this is Vilner’s first entirely reworked automobile. As a matter of fact, on sound basis of the Continental GT they have created a project that is fully produced in Bulgaria. The information that has been released by this present moment is that the tuning is accomplished in three directions.

First – the exterior was changed with the aim to bring about more aggressive and unique stance. Second – the car is equipped with entirely new interior. Third – the power output of the car is enhanced.

TEASER: Bentley Continental GT by Vilner [VIDEO]

We have received extremely exciting news from the Bulgarian luxury tuning specialists at Vilner, who have just sent us a teaser video that reveals what will be their next exquisite project.

Studio Vilner have already established a very prominent position in the creation of superior interiors on different kind of automobiles of versatile classes. In addition, in their portfolio is evident that they have made some exterior finishes as well.

And now it is the time that they are also about to showcase their first entirely reworked automobile, which in addition is among the vehicles in luxury class. Namely, they have completely transformed a first generation Bentley Continental GT.

Of course, Vilner has paid great respect to the majestic and imposing design of this Continental GT, and on this sound basis they have created a project that is fully produced in Bulgaria.

All that is disclosed so far (besides the three designer’s images of the project) is that the tuning is accomplished in three directions. First of all, the exterior was changed with the aim to bring about more aggressive and unique stance. Secondly, this Bentley is equipped with entirely new interior. And at last, but not least – the power output of the car is enhanced.

Mansory Sanguis based on Bentley Continental GT

Mansory will present their tuning package for Bentley Continental GT at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The name of the project is Sanguis. . The car’s series model is already one of the most exclusive that money can buy. But Mansory deluxe manufactory has taken this a step further and created a top-level customisation of the second generation of the British Gran-Turismo.

The exterior features a newly designed front apron with daytime running lights and an extra-light carbon-fibre bonnet. The carbon-fibre front wings and rear widening components considerably reinforce this impression. In combination with the newly designed side sill sets, they
widen the Coupe by 50 mm at the front axle and 60 mm at the rear axle. The new rear apron delivers additional downthrust and creates space for the exhaust pipes of the thunderous exhaust system.

The interior boasts new leather, wood trim, aluminum pedals and door sills.

The 6.0 liter V12 bi-turbo is boosted to 672HP (494 kW) at 6,000RPM and 780Nm (575 lb-ft) at 1,700RPM. 0-100 km/h in 4.5 secodns and a top speed of 322 km/h (200 mph).

The one-part 10J x 22” wheels with 10 double spokes impresses both through its exclusive look and through its outstanding build quality. They are fitted with 295/25 ZR22 ultra-performance tires.

Exclusive: Mansory Bentley Continental GT in Candy Red by Print Tech

Mansory Bentley Continental GT in Candy Red has been exclusively unveiled, showing-off its premium visual status and enhanced qualities. Powered by a V12 BiTurbo unit, the performance of this Bentley shows enviable figures.

It is capable of covering the 0-100 km/h sprint for less than 5 seconds on its way to the Vmax of 180 mph. In addition, according to the figures given, the Continental GT generates 575 hp (423 kW) and 700 Nm of torque within the 1700rpm – 5000rpm range.

However, the tuning specialists from Print Tech were those who managed to make the car look even more outstanding! It was fully wrapped in Candy Red.

What is more, they added the special Mansory bodykit, which here consists of the astounding carbon hood, the 22 inch wheels and the lowered suspension by “db-avantgarde”. In addition, there was added a Mansory exhaust system.

At last the interior was entirely redesigned the db-avantgarde team. Unfortunately, no additional details were disclosed regarding it, it was only confirmed that there was included a Hi-Fi music system.

Wheelsandmore Bentley Continental GT – 680 HP and 850Nm

Wheelsandmore has announced their latest project, which includes a number of special accessories for Bentley Continental GT, GTC and superfast GT Speed model.

The exterior boasts set of new huge wheels in dimensions from 21” to 22” fitted with Continental Sport Contact 5P tires. The ride can be put closer to the ground with the help of an electronic lowering module.

Wheelsandmore also offers a handcrafted stainless steel sports exhaust. Giving not only a nice deep sound, but additional power – 15HP and around 18Nm of torque. For further joy, you can also order sport catalysts giving another 15HP and 25Nm or a combined power only from the complete exhaust system – 30HP and 43Nm of torque.

The tuning company can boost the mighty engine in Continental GT via an ECU re-map giving 565HP and 750Nm of torque for the GT V8 model. The Continental GT W12 is boosted to whopping 635HP and 760Nm and the GT Speed boasts 680HP and 850Nm of torque.

2013 Bentley Continental GT3 Concept Racer [VIDEO]

2013 Bentley Continental GT3 Concept Racer was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, where it immediately grabbed the attention. The car aims to bring the bran back to the racing track since its historic sixth Le Mans victory in 2003.

The Continental GT3 is set to show the world what the Continental GT is capable of. Being in its most extreme form, it promises a solid foundation for Bentley’s long-term motorsport plans.

In fact, the GT Speed is the fastest road-going Bentley ever. However it is still a supercar that can be driven every day, no matter the road conditions. Stepping on this basis, the Continental GT3 concept capitalizes on the prodigious performance, outstanding high-speed stability and renowned durability of the iconic coupe.

At the same time the concept racer tailors its specification for the track with the adoption of a rear-wheel drive chassis, state-of-the-art motorsport hardware and a comprehensive aerodynamic package.

With this model Bentley is going t return to the racing arena towards the end of next year. It is equipped for endurance as well as outright speed; the supercar is eligible to race in a range of race series and events, up to and including 24-hour marathons.

The development of the racer will continue in the coming months and eventually will be tested in 2013. More information and details will be released in the near future.

Bentley Embiricos 4¼ -Litre at Crewe Factory

One of the most appealing things in the automotive world is the rare, old and iconic luxury cars, which almost have dreamt to drive. Bentley Embiricos 4¼ -Litre is undoubtedly one of them. Looking like a vehicle that has just came out of the first Batman movies, it captures the heart with effortless ease.

In fact, this Bentley is one of the rarest and most valuable cars in the world. One example of this model will make historic appearance at the marque’s home in Crewe.

The car has just participated in the Louis Vuitton ‘Serenissima Run’ in Venice and has been featured at the Le Mans Classic as part of the Bentley lineup. Now, the magnificent car takes pride of place in the Lineage Showroom at the firm’s Pyms Lane factory until September.

Going back in time, throughout the 1930’s Bentley Motors was owned by Rolls-Royce. At that moment it was producing fast, refined and well-built Grand Tourers from its Derby factory.

Back then many Bentley owners sent their chassis to traditional coachbuilders in order their car to receive elegant bodywork. However, some enthusiasts from across the Channel were eager to explore the new world of aerodynamics.

One such owner – André Embiricos, had taken the step and decided to investigate the possibility of a streamlined high-performance Bentley. The result was the most famous Bentley of the Derby era.

Georges Paulin, a designer working for coachbuilders Pourtout Carrossier was assigned to do the work around it. The effect was that Pourtout produced a strikingly sleek, aerodynamic body for a 4¼-Litre Derby Bentley that would be suitable for fast touring and track records alike.

In fact, an age-hardenable aluminium alloy was utilized in order to keep the weight down the fastback body with split rear window. This made it possible for the “Embiricos” Bentley to achieve all the criteria for a Bentley high performance grand tourer.

After the war, the Embiricos Bentley served as an inspiration for the glorious 1952 Bentley Continental R Type. In fact, you can still see the resemblance of the iconic shape of today’s Bentley Continental GT coupe.

2012 Vorsteiner Bentley Continental GT BR-10 With New Outdoor Photoshoot

2012 Vorsteiner Bentley Continental GT BR-10 is something we have seen before. However, what we haven’t witnessed yet is the new outdoor photoshoot of this one-of-a-kind Bentley. Vorsteiner has just released the newest outdoor images they have made of the Continental GT BR-10 edition.

As a reminder, the BR-10 Package comprises of 5-piece lightweight carbon fiber aerodynamic package, which is constructed with state-of-the-art pre-preg autoclave technology. The highly exclusive coupe has now more aerodynamic body than ever, and in addition it has received the Vorsteiner’s wheel package of Vorsteiner 22″ VS-130 1-piece forged aluminum wheels.

In details the Vorsteiner BR-10 components include in this project are: Carbon Fiber Front Spoiler with GT Style Chin Splitter, Carbon Fiber Full Length 2-Piece Add-on Side Skirts, Carbon Fiber Deck Lid Spoiler, Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser with Integrated Aero Fins.

Bentley Continental GT Speed Debuts’s at Goodwood

Excited? You should be as the fastest production Bentley is coming our way. It’s the Continental GT Speed which will save us from recent letdowns and from common sense. It’s back to the W12 engine for this one. The international debut will be at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2012 while deliveries should begin later in October.

Despite remaining at 6.0-liters, the new GT Speed‘s core has 625 bhp and sends 800 Nm of torque to the wheels – all four of them. That’s a 25 bhp and 50 Nm leap from the 2007 Bentley Continental GT Speed. For the new one, it will take only 4 seconds to reach 60 mph from a standstill and it will continue to accelerate to 205 mph.

An updated ZF eight-speed automatic transmission copes with the figures mentioned figures. A clever piece of software tells it how and when to do shifts so that they come and go smoothly and lightning fast. The gear ratios are pretty close which means faster acceleration but Bentley are adamant that the economy is up as well.

21-inch wheels fill in the wheel housings and enable the Speed to put some fancy trainers – 275/35/R21 Pirelli PZero ultra-high performance tires. The suspension has been updates as well. It’s lower at the very least.

Just so that at Bentley guarantee you distinguish it, the grille is subtly updated, the tailpipes have a “riffled” finish at the tips. Inside, the standard Mulliner Driving spec offers comfort and refinement which go along perfectly with a number of GT Speed signature elements.

Bentley Continental GT V8 in Munich [VIDEO]

Many car debuts occur in closed-door halls with a curtain over the model in question and lots of smoke and techno music for setting up the mood. The whole reveling process has become a sort of a cliché and Bentley are well aware of that. That is why for the Continental GT V8 premiere in Munich, the company went the extra mile…upwards.

Here is a video of a Bentley Continental GT V8 soaring trough the skies over Munich, with its indicators on, hooked to a helicopter. That could mean only two things: Either Munich’s no parking zone is strictly regulated… by the air force or Klaus Becker, General Manager of Bentley Munich organised a dramatic turn up for the new V8 at a special venue on a glazed bridge between two skyscrapers and in front of 300 VIP guests.

Here’s how Klaus Becker defended the stunt: “A dramatic car got the debut we felt it deserved and we took a little bit of our inspiration from Bentley’s iconic ‘Winged B’ emblem. On a practical level the helicopter was the fastest way to get to the rooftop podium.”

Either way it all looks very exciting. The V8 deserves that grand and loud première for it just might be the best Bentley ever produced.

Imperium Bentley Continental GT Audentia

Imperium has announced Bentley Continental GT Audentia. The tuned vehicle comes with the styling package consisting of aerodynamics kit and a sports exhaust system.

The exterior improvements include a new front bumper, new grille inserts and modified side skirts. There are also a new rear apron, a new diffuser and a sports exhaust system. The tag for the complete package is not low at all – £25 000, which is a bit pricey, especially, when you don’t get any interior modifications or performance upgrades.

The new elements are available in PU-RIM plastic or optional carbon fiber, which we guess is more expensive, so the complete price will be even bigger.

Bentley Continental GT Audentia will be limited to 50 units.
