After the successful R15 TDI, Audi has unveiled the new R18 Race Car, which will hit the 24 Hours of Le Mans race in the new season.
The LMP1 features carbon fibre body, full LED headlights and a closed cockpit. The chassis is also entirely made from carbon fiber featuring a single-component design that reduces weight and increases stiffness. (more…)
Audi made it! They achieved huge victory at 24h Le Mans placing three R15 TDI cars on the first three places. This is the ninth victory of Audi, so they equalized Ferrari’s position in the roll of honor in the French endurance classic.

Audi today released pricing for the 2009 model-year Audi Q7 TDI clean diesel, its first clean diesel vehicle for the U.S. market. The Q7 TDI is scheduled to arrive in U.S. dealerships later this month. (more…)
An all-new Audi TDI endurance racer carrying the genes of the first and only diesel-powered sports car to win the Le Mans 24 Hours has opened its account with a maiden victory in Florida’s Sebring 12 Hours (21 Mar), and these same genes are spawning advanced diesel-powered road cars like the TT TDI, Q7 V12 TDI and A5 3.0 TDI.
