2016 Audi A6 range has been shown in all its glory, refined and enhanced in terms of styling, equipment, engine performance and efficiency. There cars have undergone various styling revisions, xenon headlamps have been added as a standard for the SE versions, LED headlights for the S line, and the Matrix LED lights are optional for the A6 and S6 and standard for the RS 6 Avant. There are also interior improvements and upgraded infotainment system. The many gains of the new A6 will be also shared by the 2016 A6 allroad, S6, S6 Avant and RS 6 Avant models.
Precisely, revisions have been made to the Singleframe grille, the air inlets, the bumpers, the side sills, the rear lights and the tailpipes. A very exciting highlight here is the addition of xenon headlamps as standard on the A6 SE trim levels. The LED headlights and the dynamic ‘sweeping’ rear indicators are a no-cost option for the S line versions and above.
The Matrix LED headlights incorporate clusters of LED bulbs that can be individually dimmed when sensors detect oncoming or following traffic to automatically divert their beams around obstacles. They are optional for all A6 and S6 variants and standard for the RS 6 Avant.
The spacious interior, which in the Avant is combined with a 565-litre load bay, features new Lunar Silver upholstery and headlining colour choice for S line versions. There are also subtle detail enhancements, including an upgrade from dual-zone to deluxe four-zone climate control, new gear lever designs and additional chrome detailing.
The upgraded infotainment system now features MMI navigation plus and Audi connect elements. Furthermore, the range of driver assistance systems is topped by adaptive cruise control with stop & go function, Audi’s side assist, active lane assist and night vision assistant.
The engine line-up for the 2016 A6 and A6 Avant will comprise four TDI engines with either four or six cylinders and either single or twin turbo charging. The most efficient engine is the 2.0-litre TDI four-cylinder which produces 190 hp (140 kW) –and will power the Saloon and Avant. This powerplant returns up to 64 mpg and 114g/km of CO2 emissions.
The trio of 3.0-litre six-cylinder TDI ‘clean diesel’ engines begins with a single-turbo V6 unit. This one produces 218 hp (160 kW) and is followed by a 272 hp (200 kW) variant. At the top of the range stays the 3.0 TDI clean diesel biturbo, which generates 320 hp (235 kW). The last engine is coupled with an eight‑speed tiptronic automatic transmission. All other engine variants are linked to either a six‑speed manual gearbox or a seven‑speed S tronic twin-clutch transmission.
Furthermore, sports suspension has been lowered by 20 mm as a standard for the A6 S line, while this is optional for the SE model. The Audi drive select dynamic handling system is standard. Next, the 2016 Audi A6 allroad Quattro is based on the A6 Avant. This model features a raised body accentuated by wheel arch extensions and stainless steel protectors. It rides on adaptive air suspension with allroad-specific settings and is powered by three 3.0‑litre V6 TDI engines.
Unlike the previous mentioned models, the 2016 Audi S6 and S6 Avant use the 4.0-litre TFSI petrol engine. This is a twin turbo V8 unit which generates 450 hp (331 kW), and can accelerate the Saloon from rest to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, and S6 Avant – in 4.6 seconds. Standard equipment in these models include quattro permanent all‑wheel drive incorporating sports differential and adaptive air suspension and matt black brake calipers grip the front discs mounted behind the 19‑inch wheels.
The top of the A6 family remains the RS6 Avant, which is also driven by the aforementioned engine. This car accelerates to 100 km/h in a mere 3.9 seconds and can reach a top speed of 189 mph. An eight‑speed tiptronic transfers the power from the twin turbo V8. The RS adaptive air suspension lowers the body by 20 millimetres, while the large brake discs feature a weight-saving wave design, and the wheels measure 20 inches in diameter.
Audi is expanding its ultra strategy with eleven new models and now the manufacturer has unveiled the new A4, A5 and A6 Ultra models. A new and powerful two-liter TDI will provide 136HP, 163HP or 190HP and will emit just 104 to 119 g/km CO2.
The “ultra” designation stands for sustainable mobility that is fully available for everyday use. With a combined fuel consumption rate of 3.9 to 4.6 l / 100 km (60 to 51 US mpg), the new ultra models from Audi are among the most efficient cars in their segment – without any limitation on the driving dynamics or customary comfort.
The A4 and A4 Avant will be powered by a 2.0 liter TDI with either 136HP (100 kW) and 320Nm (236 lb-ft) or 163HP (120 kW) and 400Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque.
The A5 Coupe and A5 Sportback will be available exclusively with a 2.0 liter TDI – 163HP (120 kW) and 400Nm (295 lb-ft), while the big A6 and A6 Avant will get the 190HP (140 kW) and 400Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque version of the engine.
The three models are set to hit the market later this year with pricing starting from €32,600 for the A4, €37,350 for the A5 and €39,900 for the A6.
The production Audi A6 can deliver 313 horsepower (230 kW) and develop the impressive torque of 650 Nm (480 lb-ft). This amount of power is due to its 3.0l Tdi engine. However, the specialists at Senner Tuning weren’t satisfied with these figures and had something in mind in order to offer even better driving pleasure are more power.
Therefore they have created for this Audi model a comprehensive tuning program. The result of it is an increase in power of up to 374 hp (275 kW) which was achieved via power boosting of the type Stage 2. The torque was also enhanced and it is now estimated at 776 Nm (573 lb-ft).
What is more, this amount of power had to be transmitted on the road via a proper way; there shouldn’t be any significant loss of drive. For this reason Senner Tuning constructed a classical KW Street Comfort coil-over kit with a lowering section between 30 and 55 mm.
The German Tuners also added two work rims in their official program as adequate wheel/tyre combination. The choice is either the Varianza T1S wheel or the Sword SC1. What is similar between them is that both are black front-polished rims and have external beds that are anodized to high-gloss.
The two-part wheels are in size 9.5×20 inch and are matched to Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta tyres in size 255/35 R20. At last, the tuning program is finished by a sport air filter, a power converter for the electronic gas pedal and an adapted auxiliary heating system from Eberspächer of the type Hydronic II with iPhone control system.
Audi will introduce the new TDI range in L.A. The range includes A6,A7,A8,Q5 and Q7, all of them powered by a 3.0-liter V6 TDI diesel engine.
The flagship 2014 Audi A8 TDI will arrive next spring and will return a sensational 24 mpg (9.8 L/100km) in city and 36 mpg (6.53 L/100km) on highway. Despite the low fuel consumption, the 3.0 liter V6 TDI is pretty sporty – 240HP (179 kW) and 550Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque. 0-100 km/h in 6.4 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
The new 2014 Audi A6 TDI will make its appearance at the end of the month in Los Angeles, before going on sale in fall, next year. The car will come with a lot of extras, driver assistance systems, and Audi pre sense plus for detecting imminent collisions and initiating protective measures.
The beautiful 2014 A7 will join the lineup at the same time as well as the Q5 TDI and a revised Q7 TDI, which will provide 10% tter fuel economy compared to the previous model. The big SUV will be able to return 19 mpg (12.38 L/100km ) in city and 28 mpg (8.4 L/100km) on the highway. The range with a single tank of fuel will be 1126 km (700 miles).
Audi A6 Saloon, Avant and A7 Sportback models are transformed via special Black Edition specification, which gives them exclusiveness and “distinctly darker air”. The three new Black Edition models combine their more emphatic styling with the most extensive equipment list in each range.
The new special edition Audi models are equipped with distinguishing features, starting from the rotor-design alloy wheels with a dark titanium finish and either a 20-inch diameter in the A6 Saloon and Avant, or 21 inches in the A7 Sportback. These wheels perfectly fit to the arches in the A6 helped by lowered sports suspension which is a standard feature of the S line models, and in the A7 Sportback by further lowered S line sports suspension.
In terms of exterior, a black finish can be seen on the grille and number plate surrounds and the window frame strips. In addition, it can also be found at the privacy glass extending from the B-pillar rearwards. Moreover, the A6 Avant Black Edition is also equipped with black roof rails.
The interior here is unique because of its distinctive Piano Black inlays which complement the sports seats upholstered in black Valcona leather and the black headlining. The drivers here can enjoy a BOSE surround sound system, DAB digital radio and the Audi Music Interface (AMI) for iPod connection.
Some other exclusive technology features included are the following: satellite navigation, light and rain sensors, Xenon all-weather headlights and LED rear lights, the Audi drive select adaptive dynamics system, the Audi parking system plus, keyless go, powered tailgate operation, electrically adjustable front seats and a powered retractable rear spoiler.
Another exceptional car that SR Auto has just transformed is the famous Audi A6. This powerful A6 generates 245PS (180 kW) and 500Nm (369 lb-ft), thus being able to cover the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.1 seconds.
An in order to make it even more aerodynamically inclined, the tuning team combined forces with Vossen wheels. The result is a great visual upgrade in the stance of this brand new Audi.
Vossen’s new CV7 model perfectly fitted the A6. The seven spoke wheel reaches from edge to edge create the perception of a larger diameter. In addition to this, these 20 inch wheels include a machined face paired with matte graphite windows.
This combination creates a balance of contrast between the wheels and the exterior, and sets the level of luxury higher than before.
A yet another Audi with non-existent wheel housings. This one though is more subtle. It gets even more subtler when you look at the list of upgrades but hey, we rarely get news from JMS so we’ll cherish what we have.
The program is intended for the A6 – the old one – Typ 4F (it’s not even facelifted). There’s a JMS apron for it available and a front lip spoiler (fits on all 4Fs excluding the S-line). The main feature here however, is the KW stainless steel coilover kit version 1 – responsible for the lowering which can be up to 60 mm on the front axle and 50 mm at the back. Or maybe the most noticeable features here are the wheels? Oxigen 9,5×20 front and back – very flare-y
And there you have it – a JMS Audi A6. What do you think?
Audi is presenting its first luxury-class e-tron concept car – Audi A6 L e-tron at Auto China 2012 in Beijing. The manufacturer also presents two other brand new concept vehicles at the auto show, but they won’t be in focus now.
The plug-in hybrid is based on the long-wheel-base version of Audi A6 saloon, which is the best-selling model on the Chinese market. It is typical for the European manufacturers to run LWB versions specially for the Chinese market like the BMW 3-Series F30 LWB. These models are widely appreciated and well sold in China, that’s why Audi decided to run their new hybrid in LWD version.
However, the styling has been updated to differentiate it from the production model. The A6 L E-tron comes with new front grille with horizontal chrome bars giving it better front look and massive appearance. There is also a new rear diffuser and enormous 21” alloy wheels in special e-tron design.
The A6 L e-tron concept is precisely tailored to the requirements of Chinese customers. Plug-in hybrids that can travel long distances electrically – thereby enabling zero emissions driving in local areas – are ideal for use in rapidly growing megacities. Beyond its drive system, the A6 L e-tron concept has all of the qualities that customers value in Audi cars: prestige, comfort and sporty performance.
The powertrain features a 2.0 liter TFSI with 211HP (155 kW) coupled with an electric motor with 95HP (70kW). The electric motor is powered by a special liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery, which alloys the A6 L to travel up to 80km in all-electric mode if travelling at a constant speed of 60 km/h.
The interior boasts intuitive controls. The powermeter replaces the tachometer; its pointer indicates total drive system power on a scale of zero to 100%. Colored segments indicate the current operating state of the A6 L e-tron concept; an auxiliary instrument visualizes the charge state of the lithium-ion battery.
The Audi A6 L e-tron concept offers a lot of space at all seating positions. It integrates all of the model line’s luxury-class features. The seats offer ventilation and massage functions, the Bose surround system delivers good sound, and the deluxe automatic air conditioning system with air ionizer ensures a pleasant climate in the car. Ambient lighting adds subtle highlights to the interior illumination.
Welcome, to the Audi A6 Allroad. It’s like that beefy relative of yours that’s always around when a pickle jar needs to be opened. The one that also has a degree in geology… anyways. What we have here is a quattro Avant that comes with smart, stop/starting, thermo-efficient engines, a light body and a sturdy look.
There are four engine choices available – three diesels and a TFSI, all in the V6 category. That last one, the petrol, doesn’t make much sense. It’s 3.0-liter displacement accommodates 310PS and 440Nm of torque. It will get the A6 to 60 mph from a stand still in no more than 5.9 seconds and, supposedly, it will return around 31.7 mpg on the combined cycle. That sounds impressive by itself but when a 3.0-liter BiTDI engine is out there as an alternative, the choice is a no brainer really. “Bi” as in two turbochargers, this one has the same power output as the TFSI (313PS) and almost a third more torque – 650 Nm. 0 to 60 mph is done in 5.6 seconds and the economy amounts to 42.2mpg – better in every way really.
If it’s economy you’re after however, then the “standard” TDI is the engine for you – respectable power of 205PS and an economy figure of 46.3mpg with a CO2 output rate of 159 g/km – just bellow a taxation threshold in many countries. For those who won’t be comfortable even with that, there will always be a fourth option which is the mid-range TDI that has 40PS more than the base one and a healthy lump of torque that amounts to 580 Nm. The 60 mph run is done in 6.6 seconds and the cost of it won’t be much as the economy figures are the equally impressive 44.8 mpg.
Except for the BiTDI Allroads, a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission comes as standard. The BiTDI ones get the latest eight-speed tiptronic automatic transmission.
Regardless of what you might choose, know that power will always go trough Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive that splits the incoming torque in a 40:60, front to back manner. Know also that, the engines will have the task to propel the lightest A6 generation so far – 70 kg less then the previous models.
Audi A6 Allroad Avant
To affirm itself as an Allroad, the A6 has to flare its wheel arches a bit. The side sills are kind of extended and there are front and rear stainless steel underbody guards that keep rocks out of the sump department.
It’s not all rough-and-tumble with the Allroad. Inside, there’s cleverness as well – a 6.5 inch display, sat nav, an electromechanical steering, Bluetooth and a drive selector that lets you choose how all the gizmos, as well as the adaptive suspension and the engine, work – Comfort, Dynamic, Automatic, Individual and Efficiency are the modes to chose from.
So, does it do better than the VW Passat Alltrack? As a bigger brother, it should so.
Audi has proved itself very popular within the German community which is rather unsurprising. This year, the German-based magazine ”Motor und sport” surveyed a six-digit number of people to determine the “Best Cars of 2012”. The thing is that many people that took part in the research were from other countries as well – The “Motor und sport” magazine has a fan base in more than 13 European countries, Brazil and China. These are all vague numbers and speculations but the fact remains that Audi is one of the most referred to car makes on the market today.
Gaining 37.9 percent of the participating votes, the Audi A1 is crowned victorious in the battle for the best small car segment. The A4/5 on the other hand, won the best mid-size car title with 24.9 percent of the votes cast.
Audi A1 (2012)
Runner ups include the Audi A8 which got the second place in the luxury class and so did the A6/7 in the upper mid-size category. The R8 Spyder was left behind the winning SLS AMG Roadster in the convertible segment. Audis were seen on third places as well: the R8 in the sports car segment and the Audi A3 also came in third among all midsize models.
The lastest generation of Audi Allroad is even better than the previous model. It adds more brawn to complement its highly sophisticated electronic “brain” as the 3rd generation A6 Allroad Quattro.
The new model will hit the UK market next month as the prices start at £43 145 OTR for the entry-level model.
The engine range includes one TFSI petrol engine and two TDI units. All of the has turbocharging and direct injection guaranteeing high efficiency and nice dynamics. Their fuel consumption has been reduced by as much as 20 per cent compared with the previous model.
The 3.0 liter TFSI delivers 310PS (228 kW) and 440 Nm (325 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 62mph in 5.9 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h (155mph) – electronically limited. Its combined economy figure is an impressive 31.7mpg.
There are two 3.0 liter TDI model – one with 204PS and one with 245PS with 450Nm and 580Nm, respectively. The entry-level version achieves a combined economy figure of 46.3mpg, corresponding to 159 g CO2/km. All three engines are paired with the seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission.
Distinguishing allroad quattro features include extended side sills, more widely flared wings and vertical slats within the single-frame grille. Stainless steel guards protect the underbody at the front and rear of the car, and the exhaust system ends in two large, flattened tailpipes. The roof rails are mounted on double bars.
2012 Audi A6 Allroad Quattro
The wheel arches, bumpers and sills are painted in a contrasting colour, but can be body-coloured if the optional aluminium exterior package is specified. The colour Java Brown is available exclusively for the new A6 allroad quattro.
The luggage compartment has a capacity of 565 litres with seats up and whopping 1 680 litres with rear seats folded down.
The options list includes a head-up display, ambient lighting, and comfort seats seats with a ventilation and massage function. Additional highlights include four-zone automatic air conditioning, a panoramic glass roof and the advanced key, which enables access, start-up and locking without the need to remove the key from the driver’s pocket.
The HDD SAT NAV MMI features an 8” display. A Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System with 15 speakers can also be added for maximum listening pleasure.
We are all familiar how successful were the first two generations of the Allroad Quattro from the years 2000 and 2006. Now Audi has revealed the third generation of the famous model. The new A6 Allroad Quattro extends the range of uses for the A6 Avant. Moreover there is also a significant improvement in performance, as well as in fuel consumption, which was reduced by as much as 20 percent compared with the previous model.
What are the dimentions of the new A6 Allroad Quattro: 4.94 meters (16.21 ft) long, 1.90 meters (6.23 ft) wide and 1.47 (4.82 ft) meters tall. This makes it making it a few millimeters bigger than the Avant. Thank to the aluminum components included in the body of the vehicle, its total weight has been reduced by as much as 70 kilograms (154 lb) compared with the previous model. Furthermore the exterior of the Audi is designed in order to give a sportily distinctive road stance. It includes balanced proportions; sharp lines, which delineate taut surfaces; and the roof line which flows into flat D-pillars. In addition Audi offers progressive LED technology as an option for the headlights and tail lights. The xenon plus headlights can be also combined with adaptive light. Another important highlight about the body pf the new A6 Allroad Quattro is that it sits six centimeters (2.36 in) higher than that of the A6 Avant. Further improvements are made by the stainless steel covers, which protect the underbody at the front and rear of the car, and the exhaust system ending in two large, flattened tailpipes. The wheel well edges, the bumpers and the sills are painted in a contrasting color. In combination with the optional aluminum exterior package, Audi also offers a full paint finish. For example, the color called Java Braun is available exclusively for the new Audi model.
2012 Audi A6 Allroad Quattro
Is there anything different in the interior? Yes; but let’s see it in particular. The interior of the Audi A6 Allroad Quattro now offers plenty of space. This is due to the long wheelbase of 2.91 meters (9.55 ft). It also features a lean, elegant design, clear ergonomics and superior workmanship. Moreover a function that depicts the car’s pitch has been added to the MMI operating system, the soft keys of which are gleaming aluminum. The good news is that the MMI comes as standard, as well as the onboard computer with efficiency program. More about the interior design of the A6 are several visual cues: black carpeting and instrument panel; the interior color Santos Brown; the optional aluminum inlays; the door sill trims, which are also made of aluminum and emblazoned with “allroad.”
Another important highlight in the new Audi A6 Allroad Quatro is the luggage compartment which has a capacity of 565 liters (19.95 cu ft). Furthermore, latches in the luggage compartment make it easy to fold down the rear seats, and thus increasing luggage capacity to 1,680 liters (59.33 cu ft). Other standard equipment features underline the practical character of the new model. For instance there is a rail system with an included load-securing kit for dividing the luggage compartment as needed, tensioning straps on the left wall and a double loading floor.
Next in the new model is that it includes a broad choice of options. Firstly, the head-up display projects important information onto the windshield. Secondly, ambient lighting bathes the interior with subtle LED light, and the widely adjustable deluxe front seats are optionally available with ventilation and massage function. In addition there are also four-zone automatic air conditioning, a panoramic glass roof and the convenience key, which can stay in the driver’s jacket pocket. Topping the modular range of infotainment options is the hard drive-based navigation system MMI Navigation plus with touchpad operation (MMI touch) and whole-word voice control. Furtheremore The Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System boasts 15 speakers. There is also an optional Bluetooth car phone which makes a connection to the Internet via UMTS, and a WLAN hotspot. Tailored services for the driver, such as the all-new Audi traffic information online or Audi music stream web radio, are also included. Attractive services from Google, including Google Earth, Google Street View and voice-activated POI search, are also available.
2012 Audi A6 Allroad Quattro
Driving with even more confidence – this was the aim of the Audi assistance and safety systems. The radar-based adaptive cruise control with stop & go function always keeps the new A6 at a reasonable distance from the car ahead. Moreover at speeds below 30 km/h (18.64 mph), the system initiates maximum braking in the event of a collision. ACC stop & go works closely together with the Audi pre sense safety system (available in various configurations). Furthermore Audi active lane assist helps the driver to maintain the lane; next Audi side assist helps the driver when changing lanes; the night vision assistant with marking of detected persons reduces the stress of driving in the dark. In addition there is the impressive driver information system with rest recommendation function which detects when the driver is getting tired and recommends taking a rest. Moreover a variety of high-end systems help in the process of parking: the park assist system with 360° display takes over the steering; the parking system plus with 360° camera provides good vision in all directions; and four small wide-angle cameras record images of the vehicle’s immediate surroundings.
More importantly the new A6 Allroad Quattro is available with a choice of four powerful V6 engines: a TFSI gasoline engine and three TDI units. All are 3-liter engines with turbocharging and direct injection. They make use of important technologies from the Audi modular efficiency platform such as the start-stop system and innovative thermal management. The highlight here is that their fuel consumption has been reduced by as much as 20 percent compared with the previous model! In details the 3.0 TFSI, which is boosted by a mechanically driven compressor, produces 228 kW (310 hp) and 440 Nm (324.53 lb-ft) of torque. It accelerates the A6 Allroad Quattro from zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 5.9 seconds on the way to electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155.34 mph). It consumes 8.9 liters of fuel per 100 km (26.43 US mpg).
On the other hand the three variants of the 3.0 TDI produce 150 kW (204 hp), 180 kW (245 hp) and 230 kW (313 hp); torque values are 450, 580 and 650 Nm (331.90, 427.79 and 479.42 lb-ft). The entry-level version consumes on average just 6.1 liters of fuel per 100 km (38.56 US mpg), corresponding to 159 g CO2/km (255.89 g/mile). Audi also consider soon to offer a particularly low-emissions clean diesel version of the 180 kW (245 hp) engine. The twin-turbo 3.0 TDI develops a 230 kW (313 hp) and it is a powerful, great sounding engine. It accelerates the A6 Allroad Quattro from zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in only 5.6 seconds; the top speed is an electronically regulated 250 km/h (155.34 mph). The most powerful TDI delivers its power to a smooth and fast-shifting eight-speed tiptronic transmission. The three other engines are paired with the seven-speed S tronic, a sporty dual-clutch transmission. With their wide ratio spreads, the automatic transmissions are major contributors to the fuel efficiency of vehicle. They can be operated manually, including through optional paddles on the steering wheel. Moreover the Quattro permanent four-wheel drive system is paired with torque vectoring. For example during dynamic driving this system brakes the wheels on the inside of the curve, which are under a reduced load, before they can slip. Hence this further enhances traction and handling. The optional sport differential distributes the power in continuously variable proportions between the rear wheels.
2012 Audi A6 Allroad Quattro
How about the chassis of the A6 Allroad Quattro: it combines sportiness with comfort. This is due to the new electromechanical power steering which is highly sensitive and efficient. The optional dynamic steering adjusts the steering ratio to the speed driven. Moreover with the Audi drive select system, the driver can vary the function of the steering, the air suspension, the gas pedal, the automatic transmission, the sport differential, the automatic air conditioning, the lighting and the adaptive cruise control. In Efficiency mode, these systems work as economically as possible; their function can be very freely configured in Individual mode. Furthermore there is an adaptive air suspension, which combines air suspension with controlled damping. It comes as standard. It lowers the body by 15 millimeters (0.59 in) at high speed and raises it by 35 millimeters (1.38 in) at the push of a button. For example this Allroad mode is suitable for rough terrain. In addition, the driver can select a lift mode at low speeds. Then there are an extra ten millimeters (0.39 in) which enable the new Audi A6 to handle major irregularities in the road surface. Additional information that has to be mentioned here is that the Audi A6 Allroad Quattro rolls on 18-inch, five-arm alloy wheels and 235/55-size tires. Of course, Audi and Quattro GmbH offer optional wheels measuring 18, 19 and 20 inches in diameter. The large brakes provide powerful deceleration. The driver can activate a hill descent assist function for steep downhill passages and this results in speed limitation between 10 and 20 km/h (6.21 and 12.43 mph), depending on the surface.
The new Audi A6 Allroad Quattro will be available in Germany from spring 2012.
The 3.0 TDI developing 150 kW (204 hp) has a list price of €54,600.
