Efficiency is the way into the future – Audi is introducing the current state-of-the-art for its fuel-saving technologies at the Paris Auto Show. The A4 TDI concept e technology concept has the agile handling characteristics typical of the A4, but requires just 3.99 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers (58.95 US mpg). Audi is making a habit of winning the Auto Bild Design Award conferred by readers of Auto Bild: After voting the Audi TT the winner in 2006 and the Audi R8 the victor one year later, the readers of the German automotive magazine this year chose the Audi A4 as the “most beautiful car of the year,” and thus as the overall champion. Maximum efficiency all the way to the finish
Powerful dynamism, stamina and endurance are just as important in sport as out on the road. To be successful, you need to use your energy as efficiently as possible: On June 23, eleven white Audi A4 2.0 TDI models took to the start in the efficiency competition organized by Audi and Auto Bild. To stand a chance of winning, however, the teams have to complete the total distance of over 1,650 kilometers (1,025.26 miles) with an average fuel consumption of under four liters (over 58.80 US mpg). Audi A4 and A4 Avant more attractive
Audi has released its sportier, S-line-packed Audi A4 and Audi A4 Avant, offering its buyers even more tempting and exclusive rides. Developed by quattro GmbH, the S-line sports and exterior packages are now ready to transform the Ingolstadt-made compact executive car into a pure-blooded sports ride.The S-line sports kit is consist of special sports suspension with 30 millimeters lowering and 18-or 19-inch wheels (optionally). Furthermore, it adds sports seats made of fabric Sprint/leather finish or perforated Alcantara/leather (optionally). It also boasts leather sports steering wheel, gear lever gaiter and floor mats decorated with either black or silver seams. The price tag of the S-line sports package is 1980 Euro.
In the terms of eye-candyness, the S-line exterior pack for the A4 andA4 Avant has new, sportier front and rear bumpers, chromed rings around the fog lamps, platinum gray diffuser attachment, chromed tailpipes, as well as a larger roof spoiler on the Avant. The price for the exterior package is 1660 Euro.
