Nissan 370Z GT Coupe is going to be one of the most interesting cars in the UK, because of its incredibly low price.
Nissan’s perferences are superb – they allow drivers to deposit only 25 per cent and spread the cost of 370Z over the next 2 years with the option to pay off the remainder of its value after 24 months. The monthly repayments are only £299, which make Nissan 370Z affordable vehicle to most of its fans.
The vehicle featuring fully-electric folding hood is now more tempting. With a deposit of only £8,372 and a monthly payment of £349, drivers can get closer to the action with the top down. For a full breakdown of the finance packages on offer see the table below. (more…)

I look at her and the only thing that comes to my mind is a song by Freddie Mercury – “I am in love with my car”. Fabulous curves, 19” rims in the back and 265/35/19 semi slick tires on the rear axle. Definitely a good start of the day. To be honest, I could just stare for hours and enjoy this engineering masterpiece.
However, there are far better things to do with more than 300 rwd horse power. Put yourself in the bucket seat. The two tone buckets embrace you in a firm manner to make sure you will not fly out of the window in a tight corner. On the inside, the NISMO 350z is far from the top-of-the-range equipment. No electric leather seats, no navigation system, no subwoofer in the back. It is all for a good reason. The lighter – the faster they say.
My heart beats faster and faster as my right hand is putting the key in place. A small twist makes the 6 cylinders sing their song and the fascinating music from the NISMO tuned exhaust system starts playing with your senses.
First gear, watch out, tires run out fast, keep them for the corners, this car is not made for a straight line for sure. Not that it does not do 60 miles in less than 6 seconds or that it cannot easily cruise at 155 miles per hour(limited). Heading to the race track I can feel the grip getting better and better, tires are warmed up and ready to reveal the full potential of the car. The green lights come off and the rev counter violently jumps to the 7200 rpm rev limiter. A couple of corners and I understand what the geniuses from NISMO have done to the suspension. On the way to the track it felt almost comfy, on the track there is almost no rollover, the oversteer is predictable and great fun to tackle with. Getting onto the straight I start to fear that there is some beast behind me. Shifting up I can feel someone kicking me in the back, thank God, it turns out to be the massive 3500cc engine. Still dazzled by the acceleration I saw the hairpin coming. Thank you Brembo for these 330mm front rotors! The breaking is so violent , my heart stopped beating. Lap after lap, lap after lap…
In about an hour a lamp flashed on the dash, time for the gas station. I let the brakes and engine cool down. The well deserved car wash made the red paint look its best, it was time to go home.
If reading this you feel like buying one, you will have 4 exterior colors to choose from : Redline Red, Magnetic Black, Silver Alloy and Pikes Peak White. As for the interior there is only one option – black cloth seats with red inserts, a NISMO aluminum plate with a unique number on it and of course a leather steering wheel with red stitches. However, beware when driving out of the showroom! This is not your cozy Maxima and you’d better avoid speed bumps if you do not want to damage badly your exquisite front splitter. Amazingly however, similar to your Maxima, you can do 12 litres/100 km (about 20 mpg) cruising within the speed limits.
For the first time ever in the Nissan Z’s 37-year history, a high-performance NISMO 350Z is part of the extensive Z’s lineup. The new 2007 Nissan NISMO 350Z features an extensively developed list of unique equipment – including a special body package and improved handling equipment. This new model, the fifth in the 2007 350Z Coupe lineup, is available with a 6-speed manual transmission only.
The most striking visual feature of this special vehicle is the NISMO aerodynamics package, which strongly resembles the Super GT championship winning Z’s. Featuring an aggressive front fascia with chin spoiler, side skirts, an extended rear fascia with underbody diffuser and a rear wing, the NISMO 350Z produces additional aerodynamic downforce to provide enhanced cornering and handling performance.
Special consideration is given during assembly of the NISMO 350Z – structural rigidity is enhanced by the use of additional body welds to the already rigid 350Z body and additional supports have been added front and rear. The NISMO 350Z also utilizes special body dampers mounted in the front radiator core support and the rear cargo area, which assist in controlling body vibrations.
Additional performance features include a specially tuned independent multi-link suspension, Brembo brakes with four-piston front and two-piston rear calipers (with 12.8-inch front and 12.7-inch rear rotors) and special NISMO-branded gunmetal gray RAYS super lightweight forged-alloy wheels (18×9-inch front and 19×10-inch rear with 245/40WR18 front, 265/35WR19 rear Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires). A special NISMO-branded tuned exhaust adds an even more authoritative tone to the Z’s 306-horsepower V6 engine.
The 2007 NISMO 350Z is scheduled to go on sale in July 2007.

Nissan will be unveiling for the first time anywhere in the world a new model which will reinforce the company’s profit and growth aspirations in Europe. Carlos Tavares, Nissan’s Executive Vice President for Corporate Strategy and Product Planning, will present the new model at Nissan’s press conference at 1115 on Tuesday 6th March (1st press day). No further details will be released until the press conference.
As well as the world premiere, Nissan will also be showing the new, updated 350Z which will reinforce its credentials as a pure sports car with thrilling, involving performance.
With the fitment of the next generation 3.5 V6 engine – engine code VQ35HR – power has risen to 313PS (230kW) at 6800rpm and torque is now rated at 358Nm at 4800rpm, while the maximum engine speed has increased by 500rpm to 7500rpm. Nearly 80% of major engine parts are new, providing improved acceleration and responsiveness.
To achieve the additional performance, a dual intake system has been fitted and the variable valve timing system has a wider range of operation, plus the addition of a common length exhaust manifold reduces back pressure. Those changes combine to boost low and mid-range torque.

In order to achieve the higher rev limit, the crank journal and crank pin have increased in size. At the bottom of the engine, a ladder frame has been added to stiffen the crank and reduce vibration.
The introduction of a second knock sensor, an asymmetric piston pattern, improved cylinder cooling and iridium spark plugs will combine to improve the efficiency of the ignition cycle, while an increase in compression ratio from 10.3 to 10.6 has liberated more top end power. Despite all these changes, weight and fuel consumption remain unchanged, but the engine’s centre of gravity has been lowered by 15mm.
To accommodate the new engine the front bonnet has been discreetly redesigned and is now reminiscent of the original 240Z, thanks to a slightly raised profile, while three new exterior colours will also be offered. Temper Orange is a striking shade but also contains a subtle green “flip” which can be seen in soft light and gives the car a surprising tone, while a new grey – Precision Grey – and Night Blue complete the colour line-up.
Inside, a new trim has also been introduced, which is called Frost Grey. It is a pale tone and adds a touch of sophistication to the car’s interior. As well as a new interior trim colour, another important change to the interior is the fitment of Active Headrests, to minimize the chances of neck injury in the event of a rear impact.
And to improve on-road refinement, the 350Z is now equipped with Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tyres, however grip levels remain unaffected.
