  • 2012 Wald Mercedes-Benz CLS Black Bison

    2012 Mercedes CLS Black Bison received unique tuning package from Wald International. The car is just staggering and we can’t wait to see it in action.

    The exterior is finished in black and boasts complete aerodynamics package consisting of a new front bumper, a new rear bumper and a pair of side skirts. There are also daytime running LED lights, new front fenders and a new boot lid spoiler.

    The wheels are finished in matte black to complete the aggressive vision.

    CLS Black Bison is based on CLS 63 AMG, so it comes with the new 5.5 liter V8 Bi-turbo engine delivering 525PS (386 kW) and 700Nm (516 lb-ft). 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). However, the engine can be boosted with the AMG Performance package, which adds another 33PS (24 kW) and 100Nm (84 lb-ft). The top speed is 299 km/h (186 mph).

  • 2012 Mercedes CLS US price – $71 300 USD

    Mercedes-Benz USA priced the latest 2012 CLS 4-door coupe, today.  The price list includes CLS550, CLS550 4MATIC and the high-performance CLS 63 AMG.

    2012 Mercedes CLS550 is powered by a new 4.6 liter direct-injected twin-turbo V8 with 402HP (296 kW) and 600Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. 2012 CLS550 4MATIC has the same power unit, but sends the torque to all four wheels. The new engine offers better  mileage with a total of 26% over the previous CLS550. The new twin-turbocharged engine returns 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway.

    Among the stadard equipment, there are PRE-SAFE, ABS anti-lock brakes with Brake Assist, ATTENTION ASSIST, traction control and the ESP electronic stability control. The options list includes Active Blind Spot Assist and Active Lane Keeping Assist systems.

    The top-of-line CLS 63 AMG is powered by a 5.5 liter direct-injected V8 with 518HP (381 kW) and 700Nm (516 lb-ft). It is mated to a 7-speed MCT (multi-clutch technology) sport gearbox. Additionally, the AMG Performance Package can be ordered. It improves the engine performance qualities of the engine – 550HP (405 kW) and 800Nm (590 lb-ft). Despite all that power, CLS 63 AMG manages to return 15 mpg in the city and 23 mph on the highway.

    2012 Mercedes CLS550 US is priced at $71 300 USD, CLS550 4MATIC is tagged at $73 800 USD. 2012 Mercedes CLS63 AMG US has a price tag of $94 900 USD.

  • BRABUS 2012 Mercedes CLS Coupe

    Brabus are ready with their refining program for the new Mercedes-Benz CLS.

    The exterior package includes a front spoiler installed to the OE front bumper, modified air vent inserts with LED lights, sport fenders with side gills, side skirts, rear spoiler and a custom fitted lower rear bumper apron, which accommodates four tailpipes of the BRABUS sport exhaust system.   • 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG – €97 350

    Mercedes Benz has announced the price list for CLS63 AMG at the EU market. The 4-door coupe starts at 97 350 EURO excluding VAT.

    Still, the AMG performance package will cost you additional 6500 EURO, again without VAT. The package includes engine boost, a carbon fiber AMG spoiler lip on the boot lid, the AMG RIDE CONTROL Performance suspension, ceramic brakes and a LSD (Limited Slip Differential) with up to 40 lock.   • 2012 Carlsson Mercedes-Benz CLS

    The latest CLS from Mercedes doesn’t have the same spirit as the old one. That’s why, the German tuner Carlsson decided to give the vehicle better individuality. The tuning package includes both – performance and styling upgrades.

    The exterior is improved by adding aerodynamic kit consisting of a new front spoiler and RS front spoiler lip, front apron inserts with LED fog lights, stainless-steel grille inserts and power domes for the bonnet. (more…)

  • 2012 Mercedes CLS 63 AMG – Comfort, Style and Sport in ONE!

    The new CLS 63 AMG was officially unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

    The car is slightly modified compared to the ordinary CLS and features a new hood, modified bumpers, a revised grille, and unique front fenders. It also has an aggressive rear diffuser, a four-tailpipe exhaust system, LED daytime running lights and 19″ five-spoke alloy wheels.

    The interior boasts burl walnut trim, but there is an option for piano black and carbon fiber trim, AMG sports seats, and a three-spoke steering wheel with aluminum shift paddles for the gearbox. (more…)

  • 2012 Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake goes into production

    Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake Concept was introduced at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show and the good news is that it goes into production. It will be assembled in the Mercedes-Benz Plant Sindelfingen and available as 2012 model.

    Currently, this factory produces the C-Class Sedan, the E-Class Sedan and Estate, the S-Class and the coupes CLS and CL as well as the Maybach models and Mercedes-Benz Guard vehicles.

    Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG will be also produced in the same plant as well as the B-Class eCell. Starting 2014, the new Mercedes-Benz SL-Class will also be manufactured in Sindelfingen. (more…)

  • 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS make its official debut in Paris

    The new CLS is officially unveiled at the Paris Motor Show. The car looks completely different from the previous model and according to our opinion, it is much uglier. The old Mercedes CLS had its own unique style, which is lost with the new one.

    2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS features flared wheel arches, a sloping roofline, and optional LED headlights. The interior includes leather upholstery, wood trim, and bright metal accents. Nothing special and that is what dissapointed us. (more…)
