  • BMW 550i – More “Steam” Than M5 Series

The tendency of car-wrapping instead of coloring has been progressing for quite some time now and has been significantly conquering every part of the world. More or less. In relation to this, Fostla at Seelze near Hanover, Germany, is considered to be some sort of a master when it comes to car-wrapping and for this reason, it has been preferred by many customers.

Such example is the BMW 550i F10 which has received not only full wrapping in urban-Taupe-mat-metallic or also gray-olive-mat-metallic but has also gained some substantial power improvements. After the alterations and thanks to the professionally applied foil by the company, the BMW exhibits highly aggressive look. The windows, the front and rear lamps are tinted, while the mounted on the front bumper lip and the rear diffusor are covered in sleek-black. Inside, there is a leather sports steering wheel coated with soft cushioning. It is just one of the features that exemplifies the distinctive custom-made design by Fostla.

In terms of power, the engine of the Bavarian car underwent a PP-Performance refitting which included stage-2 motor electronics modification, downpipes and Vmax unlocking, thus costing 4,299 €. In consequence, there is a power output boosted from 408 HP (300 kW) to 570 PS (419 kW) and a peak torque improved from 600 to 800 Nm. When we compare it to the M5 F10, which brings along 560 HP (412 kW) and the “modest” 680 Nm, we see that the 550i is more powerful.

Additionally, the BMW 550i F10 benefits from wheel-set that consists of Yido Performance YP1 Talia 20 inches in 9×20 ET35 at the front and 10×20 ET35 at the rear axle. This rim set can be purchased for 2,000 €, including a certificate. • Fostla Wrappings Audi RS6R MTM

Fostla-Wrapping-Audi-RS6-thumbAn Audi RS6 Avant that has been touched by the skillful hand of MTM and then wrapped around with foil (increasingly popular these days) by Fostla.

By boosting the power up to 759 hp and 912 Nm of torque, MTM have created a significant distance from the “standard” RS6 which has “only” 571 hp and 650 Nm of torque coming from it’s 5.0-liter V10 FSI Turbo (Gallardoesque) engine. That’s why this one is actually called the Audi RS6…R. Anyway. Other non-stock features include the valve controlled exhaust system, the sports catalysts, RS5 9×20 ET29 rims equipped with 275/35R20 tires and a body kit comprising of a front lip spoiler and a rear diffuser. The end product is good for a top speed of 348 km/h – enough to peel the paint off.

But, what is actually on the surface of the body is foil. An anodized matt blue metallic PWF… something to be more exact. It’s been made by Fostla Wrappings and costs 2,500 Euros ($3,149). I know, but you also get tinting of the head and tail-lights. Still not buying it? Me neither.

  • 2012 Fostla Audi Q7 SUV now offering 600 horsepower

2012-Fostla-Audi-Q7-SUV-THUMB2012 Fostla Audi Q7 SUV is a unique and newly tuned vehicle which will amaze you with its 600 horsepower (441 kW) and exceptional appearance added to the inherent Audi class and style.

The tuning company is no other but German based and in details it specializes in premium wrapping foils. In details the machine which stays behind this makeover, is the Audi Q7 V12 TDI. It has served as a basis for the foiling.

In fact, this was the first ever V12 TDI in a passenger vehicle. This engine has the capacity to produce an output of 368 kW (500 hp) and 1,000 Nm of torque (737.56 lb-ft) from its six liters. This means that solely the base model catapults from zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in only 5.5 seconds and has an electronically capped top speed of 250 km/h (155.34 mph).

But let’s go back to the work of Fostla. What is important to highlight here is that the skilled handwork turns out to be a one of the most important things. The primary color of the Audi was green. However, the refinement now is made with PWF foil in diamond black matt.

    2012 Fostla Audi Q7 SUV

In addition, the discs were also toned between fifty-five and eighty-five percent. The front and back lights have five percent of tinting.

Additional changes are also offered – this time not only in terms of exterior foiling style, but also in terms of set of 11×23 inch matt powder coated side Mansory C5 rims with 315/25R23 tyres in combination with 15 mm front and 30 mm back track plates.

More importantly in my opinion here is the work that has been done on the engine. To be more précised it was optimized and now is able to deliver the astonishing 600 hp (441 kW) and 1,150 Nm (848 lb.-ft.) torque.

To sum up: a great tuning to be considered by many!
