Nissan Project Titan is Ready to Conquer Alaska’s Wilderness [VIDEO]

Nissan Project Titan is world’s first crowd-sourced truck. Nissan has handed over the build to their Facebook fans and now the custom ultimate off-road machine is to take two heroic Wounded Warrior Project Alumni across Alaska. The project is based on a 2014 Nissan Titan Crew Cab PRO-4X. Fans have voted on 10 different areas of customization in order to assist the company to conquer Alaskan wilderness. There were three stages in the development of the vehicle. Along the way, fans have voted giving the company direction for almost every inch of the truck.

The exterior appearance of the Titan is adorned by a “Recon Titan” wrap, which is a digital-camouflage design that pays tribute to some of the most capable vehicles in the military. In addition, the fans have chosen a NISMO cold-air intake and Borla cat-back exhaust system, which open up airflow on both ends of the vehicle’s powertrain – the Endurance 5.6-liter V-8 engine.

On the Alaskan landscape, the Titan will be running on 18-inch Fuel Revolver D525 wheels wrapped in 35-inch Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires. During the night, it will illuminate its way via Bulldog LED Lighting, while the ARB Deluxe Bull Bar will deliver additional protection.

The interior of the vehicle has been also customized. The shifter and steering wheel have been refreshed, while the seats got new rugged Katzkin leather-wrap as well as Wounded Warrior Project embroidery. Coordinated tan stitching can be seen on the seats, steering wheel and door panels.

Fans have also added utility to the experience. Precisely, Project Titan tows a customized camping trailer which includes a camp-style kitchen, tent, water/fuel storage and a spare tire.

Currently, the truck has been fully prepared and already arrived in Alaska. Iraqi war veterans and Wounded Warrior Project Alumni David Guzman and Kevin McMahon will trek over mountains and through valleys in the ultimate Titan. Honda HR-V is Small SUV Debuting at Paris Motor Show

Honda has revealed the first official images and details around the HR-V Prototype. This is company’s new small SUV intended only for European customers. In fact, the vehicle has been introduced in Japan last year at the Tokyo Motor Show., but under a different name – Vezel. The HR-V will have a world premiere at the 2014 Mondial de l’Automobile in Paris, which is to happen next month. The small crossover features a unique design, which echoes that of a coupe.

HR-V sports sharp and dynamic lines that effortlessly link to its sleek upper body with the stable and planted lower body. The SUV has clean lines are additionally complemented by hidden rear door handles, which lends the model even sportier presence. The car will be smaller than the CR-V, but will be still perfect for utilization in both the city and mountain roads.

The elegant exterior appearance of the car is continued inside. The interior practicality of the car was achieved due to the addition of a centre fuel tank. Honda states that the fuel tank’s location creates one of the most spacious and adaptable small SUV cabins.

Vauxhall to Introduce New Model Called Viva Next Summer

Vauxhall Viva is a future five-door entry-level model, which the company is set to introduce to us the summer next year. The vehicle will be part of Vauxhall’s small car range and this means that it will be accompanying the popular and fashionable A-sector icons: the ADAM and the Corsa supermini. In addition, the company is also promising to offer Viva at extremely attractive price tag.

What Vauxhall has revealed so far is that the future Viva will have a five-door body style and will accommodate up to five or four occupants, meaning that it will come with either four or five seats. The car will hold great appeal in this rapidly growing sector, thanks to its great specifications and range of trims and equipment levels.

Vauxhall is also hoping that the bold and radical name “Viva” of the car will attract attention and engender curiosity. Precisely, Viva is an acclamation or salutation that comes from Latin. It still has ameaning in neo-Latin languages such as Spanish, Portuguese and Italian, and means “Long live… !” or more literally “Live!”.

Furthermore, the name of the five-door model also pays tribute to Vauxhall’s original Viva, which was produced between the years 1963 and 1979 in over 1.5 million examples. 2015 Toyota Tundra: A Combination of Toughness and Luxury

Lexus Updates 2015 RC F With Even More Powerful Engine [VIDEO]

2015 Lexus RC F which debuted at 2014 NAIAS event is the most powerful production V8 coupe the company has ever produced … until now. Lexus has just revealed that the RC F is getting an engine update that will endow it with even more horsepower. The new coupe will develop 477 horsepower (351 kW) from its naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 engine. Compared to the version introduced in the beginning of the year, this one is getting 27 hp (21 kW) additional strength.

Furthermore, the new engine will develop nearly 13 per cent more power than the IS F engine on which it is based. And these simple facts are making the new RC F driven by the most powerful Lexus V8 engine in the company’s history.

The 5.0-litre, 32-valve engine features new cylinder heads and lighter moving parts. These additions contribute towards an increase of the maximum power by 40kW, and maximum revolutions increased from 6600 to 7300rpm.

The updated RC F will be also fitted with an intelligent engine management system, which will allows the drivetrain to switch between Atkinson and Otto cycle. The result will be conserved fuel while coasting or delivering maximum power when required. 2015 Lexus RC F V8 is scheduled for launch during the first quarter of 2015.

Jaguar XE – One Look Into The Future

The world premiere of the new Jaguar XE took place at London. The company presents us a saloon car like no other. Equipped with an advanced aluminium body shell, designed for light weight and stiffness, the aim for the XE is to deliver the efficiency that is so important in the fleet focused executive car market.

Engineered with the most sophisticated suspension and steering systems to rival its German rivals. The rear suspension is probably the most remarkable thing in the Jaguar XE’s dynamic package. The integral link system is a first class premium design, made from incredibly strong, yet light aluminium components which provide the stiffness needed for a precise handling.

2015 Dodge Viper Gets More Horsepower and $15k Price Drop

Good news for all 2015 Dodge Viper future buyers: the new starting price of the MY 2015 model is $15,000 USD less than the 2014 model it replaces. In addition, Dodge is giving the snake more horsepower and improved fuel economy. The new model year version of the Viper SRT will produce 645 horsepower (474 kW) and get up to 20 miles per gallon.

Dodge launched the original 1992 Dodge Viper priced at $50,700 USD, which adjusted for inflation equates to $86,130 in today’s dollars. This is even more compared to the price tag for the MY2015 Viper (see below). The first generation model 400 horsepower (294 kW), it didn’t have air conditioning, anti-lock brakes, traction control, stability control or … even have real windows. This made it the rawest American performance car of its time.

On the contrary, the fifth generation Viper, which maintains the purity of the original car through its seductive design, perfect weight balance and all-aluminum V10, adds 245 horsepower and five-mode ESC, two-mode suspension, ABS, traction control, launch control and a lightweight carbon fiber, magnesium and aluminum structure.

Furthermore, Dodge is also introducing various product enhancements, new packages and new colors for the 2015 Viper. The SRT is getting new accent stitching on the seats and instrument panel as well as Alcantara accents on the doors and instrument panel, and ‘Viper’ badged aluminum sill plates.

Volkswagen Launches Amarok Dark Label Limited Edition in the UK

Volkswagen has revealed an Amarok special edition model dubbed Dark Label. The pick-up features a dramatic cutting edge design and will be strictly limited to a number of 300 production vehicles. Amarok Dark Label is powered by the 2.0-litre BiTDI engine, which produces 180 horsepower (132 kW) and up to 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque. Its maximum towing capacity is estimated of up to 3,200 kg. The engine will be mated with a six-speed manual selectable 4MOTION transmission in only 50 of the 300 vehicles available. The other 250 examples will get the eight-speed auto-permanent 4MOTION transmission.

The automatic version also comes with BlueMotion Technology, which includes low rolling-resistance tyres, Start/stop and regenerative braking. This results in better fuel economy and reduced CO2 emissions.

Both versions will be equipped with the same styling features. These include 18-inch black Durban alloy wheels, extended wheel arches and a distinctive underride guard below the front bumper. In addition, the exterior design package also comprises of dark tinted rear side windows, darkened tail lights, matt black side bars and footstep as well as black rear bumper, black grained door handles and black foil on the B-pillars.

The interior of this pick-up is adorned by anthracite Alcantara upholstery and velour floor mats with Dark Label branding. 2015 Lincoln Navigator – Big and Versatile

The new 2015 Lincoln Navigator has an all new bold and stylish design. With an updated exterior, it now wears the brand’s signature, split wing chromed grill, giving the car an aggressive look.

For the 2015 Lincoln model you have the option for power running boards in chrome. HID headlamps are standart. Of course the truck’s rear has received some nice design enchancements as well. Another option is the 22-inch aluminum wheels which look amazing on the car.

Something more important than style is the all new power train- a 3.5-liter Eco boost V6 engine. The twin turbo charger along with direct fuel injection will push up to at least 380 hp (283 kW) at 5,250 rpm and 460 lb.-ft. (623 Nm) of torque at 2,750 rpm. The standard 4×2 Lincoln Navigator offers best in class fuel economy rating, of 22 mpg US (10-liters/100 km) highway, 16 mpg US (14-liters/100 km) city and 18 mpg US (13-liters/100 km) combined, while the standard 4×4 Navigator gets 20 mpg US (11-liters/100 km) highway, 15 mpg US (15-liters/100 km) city, and 17 mpg US (13-liters/100 km) combined, and towing capability of 9000 pounds (4082 kg). A six speed automatic transmission is available for either the rear or all four wheels.

The first thing you notice once you get inside the cabin is the 4.2 inch LCD screens that are behind the gauge cluster. Controlled through the steering wheel, you also have the touch screen system as well. The instument panel is redesigned and covered in super soft leather. Couple of other things that are offered by this Lincoln model is the MyLincoln Touch™ system, which is really hand-on easy to use. Another thing is the EC and heating luxurious, leather-trimmed seats for the driver and the passengers alike which are power-adjustable. There is an engine start/stop push button which makes starting or stoping the car a lot easier. The armrest in the back seat row provides nice extra storage.

The trunk offers over 86 cubic feet of storage. One thing that really opens up space is an option to configure the seats for seven passengers. In my opinion, that comes nice with the two bucket seats up front, while being able to put additional 3 back in the car. There are some little things that make life easier, however, and those are the power folding seats in the third row, which were just mentioned, they are a must for such a high standard vehicle.

Pricing for the 4×2 standard models is valued at $62,475 USD,while the 4×4 version is estimated at $68,215 USD.

Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0 is Limited to 1500 Examples [VIDEO]

Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0 is a limited edition release series which is currently going on sale throughout the United States. The model was revealed earlier this year at the New York International Auto Show, and now Scion’s fans and racing enthusiasts can get behind its steering wheel. There will be only 1,500 examples of the car produced, which will make it desired even more.

FR-S Release Series 1.0 vehicles will sport a striking exterior paint finish named Yuzu exterior color. In addition, the vehicle comes equipped with enhanced features from Toyota Racing Development (TRD). These include TRD Quad Tip Exhaust System and TRD lowering springs.

Mercedes-Benz S 500 Plug-In Hybrid is a Long Wheelbase Only in the UK

Mercedes-Benz S 500 Plug-In Hybrid shows some grate figures: the car returns 100.9 mpg UK (2.8 liters / 100 km), emits 65 g/km of CO2, and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.2-seconds before reaching a limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). Furthermore, the new model utilizes a tablet or smartphone-based system to allow the driver to pre-heat or pre-cool the car. This is possible thanks to the addition of the Connect me system, which can also remotely send information to the driver when away from the car on the charge status, the predicted range and when the next service is due.

There is a lot of comfort features included. Some of them are: seven interior trims to choose from, seatbelt-mounted airbags, Air Balance perfume diffuser system, Magic Body Control, etc.

Nissan GT-R GT800+ Turbo Drive – 327km/h Tire Blowout!

One of the worst fears of every driver is to blowout a tire, especially a front one. The danger grows exponentially with the speed and imagine, if you are driving with over 300 km/h and this happens…

The misfortune happened to an extremely tuned Nissan GT-R GT800+ Turbo Drive (over 800HP) with 327 km/h (203 mph). The vehicle was accelerating crazily at the highway and just after it passed the 200 mph barrier, the unthinkable occurred. The front right Dunlop Sport Maxx GT600 tire exploded and the driver found himself flying towards the concrete wall.

Fortunately, he managed to keep the car under control and no fatal accidents occurred. While, he was slowing down he passed a lorry and a normal car with over 180 km/h (and a blown tire).

Remember, that he can’t step hard on the brakes, because the car is more likely to lose control and spin.

When luck is combined with professional skills, everything is fine!
