2016 Lexus ES 300h is a luxury leader in the hybrid world and this is undisputable, isn’t it? Joining a range of six Lexus hybrid models, this one features a lot more that we have expected. It is efficient, looks better than ever and features a lot more comfortability inside. There is also new safety features coming as a standard as well as more multimedia and connectivity technology included.
The car is basically a jewel, and it not only helps in saving the planet, but it is also suitable for those who like luxury driving experience. So it basically mixes both worlds. But let’s see what has been changed in the new model year for ES 300h.

At the sides we see the car rolling on new 17-inch alloys, while the rear is distinguished via L-shaped taillights. There are four exterior colors added to the palette, including Autumn Shimmer, Nightfall Mica, Caviar and Eminent White Pearl.
More Luxury for the Interior

There are several new color trims for the cabin as well. These include Linear Dark Mocha, Illustrious Piano Black, which replaces the Piano Black trim, and Bamboo with a matte finish.
Furthermore, it is vitally important for those keen on luxury, to mention that Lexus has used even softer materials in order to deliver more comfortable experience for its occupants. Details like the silver-trimmed piano black door switch plates give the 2016 ES 300h interior a richer appearance.
As you can see from the picture above, the steering wheel looks sportier and in general the entire design philosophy for the cabin has been sports-oriented. There is a large multi-information display which links to all multimedia functions accessible for the driver within an instant. The interior also shows-off with new shift knob with a leather boot.
In terms of sound system, Lexus has offered something very cool for its 2016 ES 300h and it is the optional Mark Levinson Premium Sound available on all trim levels.
Lexus Safety System+
Lexus Safety System+ is also a new feature here. It combines the ten standard airbags with Pre-Collision System, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Intelligent High Beam (IHB) and High-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, to make the ride safer than ever.
See How 2016 Lexus ES 300h Runs

You know that 2016 Lexus ES 300h is a hybrid, right? This means that it runs with the help of Lexus Hybrid Drive system, which combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine with an electric motor. As a result it produces a combined power of 200 horses.
In addition, it can also run on electric motor or gas engine alone. The cool thing here is that the car actually features a Hybrid System Indicator, displaying the utilization of energy and encourages efficient driving habits.
2016 Lexus ES 300h uses Lexus Hybrid Drive system to produce more than 200HP of total output.
The driving spirit is encouraged by four different driving modes: Normal, Sport, Eco and EV, specifically created for all driving situations. The best thing is that the ES 300h also has excellent fuel economy. It shows ratings of 40 mpg city / 39 mpg highway / 40 mpg combined.
Left Unmentioned
There is a lot to tell about the new ES 300h. However, we try to highlight only the new. So what has been left unmentioned here are the standard 10-way adjustable power front seats, automatic climate control, the power tilt-and-slide moonroof and the power-adjustable outside mirrors with turn signals and defoggers. Next to the standard 17-inch wheels fitted with 215/55R17 low-rolling resistance tires, Lexus is also offering the optional 18-inch alloys.
2016 Lexus ES 300h will be offered in three trim levels: Premium, Luxury and Ultra Luxury. The latter two packages add (for 2016 model year) wood trim on the center console and emboss pattern on the seats.
