Cadillac Debuts ATS-L Luxury Sport Sedan Next Week

Cadillac ATS-L Luxury Sport Sedan is going to be launched in China next week. The company highlights its three key features: the new 8-speed automatic transmission and start/stop system, the OnStar 4G LTE and the on-board Wi-Fi, and the compatibility with iOS-based Apple CarPlay.

Since it was revealed, the ATS-L has been praised for its excellent performance features. On first place is the 2.0L turbo SIDI engine, which has been selected as one of Ward’s 10 Best Engines. In addition, its performance oriented additions include sport-tuned rear-wheel drive, a Magnetic Ride Control (MRC) suspension and Brembo high-performance brakes. They all come as a standard across its full lineup.

Furthermore, the eight-speed automatic transmission and the start/stop function, make the model with better shifting responses as well as fuel efficiency.

But two of the most exclusive features here, which haven’t been added so far is the OnStar 4G LTE technology and on-board Car-Fi. They are included for the first time in a luxury sedan and allow users to connect to seven mobile devices within 700 square meters of the ATS-L. As a matter of fact, the system is 10 times faster than 3G technology as well as stable and safe.

Thanks to its array of new features, Cadillac ATS-L is definitely going to make a very strong impression to the new customers in China. But as we can assume, given the addition of connectivity features, the main goal of the company is obviously to attract younger car buyers.

Kahn Reveals Land Rover Defender 110 Double Cab Pick Up CWT

Kahn Reveals Land Rover Defender Front And Side View Friday has arrived and so is the newest Kahn project. It is again based on a Land Rover vehicle, and this time under the spot is the Land Rover Defender 110 Double Cab Pick Up. In the work was also involved the Chelsea Truck Company, giving the Defender wider, luxurious and more menacing look.

Exterior

This particular model has definitely this classic styling from the late 60s. Exactly this is what the tuner wanted to emphasize and thus it has painted it in Aintree Green. In addition, there are some extra equipment elements, which are not to underestimated.

Precisely, Kahn added new side vents with a stainless steel mesh, new bumper with integrated daytime running lights and shadow chrome headlamps. Kahn designers have also make it possible for the Defender to receive full leather instrument binnacle, hard-wearing floor mats, billet and leather steering wheel, passenger dashboard top and grab handle, vented foot pedals in machined aluminium and centre glove box as well as Churchill time clock fascia.

POSAIDON Knows How Good 700HP Are for Mercedes-AMG GT S [VIDEO]

2015 POSAIDON Mercedes-AMG GT RS 700 Front View POSAIDON Mercedes-AMG GT RS 700 is another example for a team that has knowledge how to deal really well with a Mercedes-AMG GT or GT S! The tuning brand has lately become very popular with their work on these particular models and this unit is another example of their crazy-good work!

The classic sportscar is pretty good in its standard form, too. It is equipped with AMG’s 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 (M178) engine that produces 462 hp (340 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque in the GT variant, and 510 hp (375 kW) and 650 Nm (480 lb-ft) in the GT S. These outputs relate to a Vmax of 304 km/h and 310 km/h, respectively.

The tuners at POSAIDON wanted something far more exciting for this car, knowing that it has hidden potential. And you will be amazed what they achieve.

If you enter the POSAIDON GT RS 700, it will offer you a full 700 hp, accompanied by 750 Nm of torque. Yes, this is exactly an addition of 190 hp and 100 Nm to the standard output of the GT S variant, and even better: 238 hp and 150 Nm to the GT version.

These new numbers makes it possible for the car to cover the 0-100 km/h sprint in just 3.2 seconds. The top speed has been also raised and it now reaches 349 km/h.

To make all this possible, the team applied its in-house turbocharger upgrade and increased the intercooler capacity. They even added a bespoke exhaust system featuring free-flow motorsport grade catalytic converters.

These converters connect directly to the revised turbochargers and it this way they have helped lower the backpressure. The next step is the ECU mapping for the engine and gearbox. It has been carefully calibrated on both the chassis dynamometer.

Blood Type Racing Reveals First Sketch of SEMA-Built Veloster Turbo

Blood Type Racing is known for their one-off Hyundai SEMA-built vehicles. As the auto event is coming near, we are to see more and more exciting projects. So, here it is the Blood Type Racing Hyundai Veloster Turbo R-Spec’s first sketch. The car is under preparation for this year’s SEMA show and as we can see from the image it has this sinister look and tough presence.

Sinister Appearance for the Exterior

It seems that this Veloster has switched over to the dark side, just in time for the next Star Wars series. So, let’s get into details with this car’s demanding look. First thing to mention is the amount of carbon fiber. The evil appearance of the car began with a “Carbon Black” paint job, accented with a red racing stripe running from the front splitter up onto the hood.

In addition, there is also a carbon fiber wide-body kit that is accompanied by front-mounted aero canards, front splitter and a rear deck spoiler. The trio also provides better down force at speed. Red accents on the custom SSR three-piece wheels, along with red projector “demon eye” headlamps are what make the car look that demonic.

Devil in the Engine

Under the hood of the car is the 1.6-liter “Gamma” four-cylinder. To make the car more harmonious with its exterior, BTR added to the engine new cylinder sleeves, a high-boost turbocharger from Garrett, and custom connecting rods and pistons. Using an ECU, the tuners managed to achieve more than 500 horsepower!

Exclusive Cabin

How about the interior? There are no sketches showing the work inside, however, BTR is saying that they have stripped it down and given it full, race-spec treatment with the addition of a four-point roll cage. They have also added Sabelt bucket seats, harnesses and steering wheel, along with audio upgrades from Rockford Fosgate and Tanabe OLED Revel gauges.

Porsche Team Gears 911 Carrera and Targa Models With New Goodies

2017 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S 2017 911 Carrera 4 and 911 Targa 4 models will benefit with the advantage of enhanced AWD system that is paired with special and innovative turbocharged engines, which are more powerful and more efficient than their predecessors. And with the standard adaptive Porsche Active Suspension Management with its 10 millimeter reduced ride height the vehicles will contribute to a better handling and more pleasurable ride.

The AWD models will also offer and some more visual refinements for the 911 Carrera models, including fresh headlights with four-point daytime running lights, door handles without recess covers, reshaped rear decklid with vertical louvers and sweet new rear lights with four-point brake lights. Cool, right? Cool, but this is not all. Additionaly, Carrera 4 and Targa 4 will grant customers with neat light strip between the rear lights that is distinctive, thanks to its three-dimensional design. And all this thanks to the new powerplants that are now paired to a special seven-speed manual transmission that comes as a standard feature.

BMW Releases M4 GTS High Performance Special Edition for the First Time in the US

2016 BMW M4 GTS

2016 BMW M4 GTS is the most agile, radical and powerful M4 ever created! It has motorsport-inspired looks and is driven by high-performance technology. It is also the first production road car with Water Injection System, which helps it receive a power boost of up to 493 HP (363 kW).

In other words, the M4 GTS is more than impressive. And here is another reason to support this: riding on a track ready chassis, this Special Edition M vehicle achieved a lap time of 7 minutes 28 seconds around the legendary Nürburgring-Nordschleife. This allowed BMW to highlight the innovative flair of the M engineers in developing M technologies on the powertrain, chassis and lightweight construction fronts.

Other exclusive features here include the exclusive OLED light technology, the full three-way adjustable M coilover suspension, and intelligent lightweight body design. But at the heart of this unique car is M4 GTS’ engine and its water injection supporting the performance.

2016 BMW M4 GTS Engine

In details, this BMW is powered by the M TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder in-line engine from the BMW M4. As mentioned, it produces 493 hp (363 kW) at 7,600 rpm thanks to the additional innovative water injection technology.

As a matter of fact, this system is used for the first time in a road car. It takes the 6-cylinder in-line turbocharged unit to new performance heights by relaxing the thermal constraints on power and torque.

The horsepower this engine develops show an increase of 16 percent over the BMW M4 – at 6,250 rpm. In addition, there is also a boost in the peak torque, which has been increased by 10 percent to 599 Nm (442 lb-ft) from 4,000 rpm to 5,500 rpm.

These numbers help the BMW accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 3.7 seconds. The top speed is limited at 189.5 mph. Despite the significant extra power, the engine also excels on fuel efficiency. Rates are similar to those of the BMW M4 Coupe.

2016 BMW M4 GTS special edition is limited to 700 units worldwide. 300 units will be available for the first time in the US market.

VIZIV Concept: Would It Predict The Future?

Subaru VIZIV Future Concept Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. will unveil two concept vehicles at the 44th Tokyo Motor Show 2015. The brand also has planned to demonstrate and new production models that would eventually be announced on October 28 for a total of ten new models of being shown.

In fact, among the concept vehicles there will be the Subaru BIZIV Future Concept that will demonstrate the direction that the brand will go by incorporating automatic driving functions and next-gen safety features. The other unique car on display will be the Impreza 5-Door Concept. It’s main purpose is to demonstrate the next-gen appearance of the Impreza lineup. The body demonstrates clear and polished surface that enhances the impression of swiftness and elegance. Furthermore, the design also brings that muscular stance, thanks to the extended bumpers. And staying true to its SUV nature, there are strong motifs like the hexagonal grill and the ascending rear pillar and a dynamic and wide rear bumper that altogether contribute to the unique style of the vehicle.

Honda Introduces 2016 CR-V Special Edition (SE)

2016 Honda CR-V is getting a new trim level positioned over the well-known LX but below the EX. It is called Special Edition or simply SE and adds extra features such as bigger 17-inch bi-colored alloys, second row, rear privacy glass and security system.

The SE grade will be offered both in front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) variant. If you count the top-of-the-line Touring version, which was introduced last year and that includes the Honda Sensing suite of safety and driver assistive technologies, the CR-V is now available in 12 trim/wheel drive versions!

2016 Honda CR-V Rear View

Just like the standard 2016 CR-V, the SE is powered by an Earth Dreams Technology 2.4-liter direct-injected DOHC i-VTEC inline 4-cylinder engine. It generates 185 horsepower (136 kW) and 245 Nm (181 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is connected to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

Thanks to this combination, the CR-V seems to provide smooth, seamless ratio changes and EPA fuel economy ratings of 26/33/29 mpg (city/highway/combined) for front-wheel-drive and 25/31/27 mpg for the Real Time AWD.

OnStar Calls John Hennessey while he Tests 650+ HP Z/28 Camaro [VIDEO]

Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 HPE 650 Front and Side View Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is one of the best cars to drive nowadays. But what happens when it is equipped with Hennessey Performance HPE650 Upgrade? Unexpectedly OnStar calls you. Or at least this has happened to tuning company’s owner John Hennessey, while he was testing the uprated Z/28 Camaro.

The people at OnStar gave him a call to make sure that everything was alright and he was safe. And he describes the experience: “No, I didn’t crash while testing the car but I was pulling around 1.1 g’s going around the sweeper turn at the end of our test track at Lonestar Motorsports Park. I guess they just wanted to check on me and make sure I was alright”.

By the way, this doesn’t happen for the first time, but he has already experience the same thing a few years ago. The difference was that he was test-driving the 700 HP Cadillac.

Now that’s a very persuasive method to consider the HPE650 upgrade for the 2014/2015 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, isn’t it? If you have already decided that you want it then you should know that it will give your Camaro an output of 667 bhp (490 lb-ft) at 7,000 rpm!
