Land Rover Releases Two Special Editions for the Discovery Lineup

2016 Land Rover Discovery Landmark Land Rover continues to widen its Discovery lineup and demonstrates two fresh and special editions: Landmark and Graphite. The restyled and distinctive exterior, along with the stylish interior contribute to that well-known Land Rover feel and pleasure of driving. The special editions definitely will enhance Discovery’s presence on the road and from the end of October all the fans will be able to order their unit, while we will see them on the road from January 2016 onwards.

The Landmark special model offers the special HSE derivative, extended list of features and enhanced premium and comfort feel.

The exterior changes include the addition of full length roof rails in bright finish, black fencer vents, distinctive grille and mirror caps. The vehicle definitely looks massive and more aggressive than its predecessors and when the 20-inch 5-split spoke alloy wheels are added, the stylish, yet strong presence is completed.

Discovery Graphite, on the other hand, is based on the successful Black Pack and offers modern and distinctive looks: the grey Graphite finish to the fender vents and grille, along with the sporty gloss black and light gray frame. In fact, the customers can choose between nine body colors and three interior schemes. Sweet, right?

Irmscher Opel Astra Program is Ready for Launch

Irmscher Opel Astrain Grey - Side View Irmscher is one of the tuning companies, which is hard to see very often. The first reason for this is that they are working only with Opel (Vauxhall) vehicles. The second: they are doing this for 47 years now, and this means that they are really good in it! Now, the modification specialists are absolutely ready with the launch of their new program for the latest Opel Astra.

Visually Better Astra

Irmscher improved the visual stance of the car with some simple changes that prove to be very effective. The biggest change is probably the grille. The original one was substituted with the classic Irmscher radiator grille that gives the Astra even more dynamic appearance for its front. Depending on customer’s wish the radiator grille can be made from stainless steel or carbon fiber.

The more athletic stance has been further reinforced with the lowering, which in this case is 30mm. This ensures maximum traction especially when it comes to curves. The lower stance is also supported by the new wheel. Irmscher is offering a wide variety of wheel designs, but the most exclusive ones are 19-inch of HighStar or Aerostar variety and are finished in diamond-polished black. 16-inch and 17-inch versions are also available.

At last, the design of the Astra is highlighted by the foil strips added to accentuate vehicle’s contours. The strips set is available in different colors.

More Power?

A power output increase is also available for both diesel and gasoline variants. The boost is actually currently being tested and will be introduced shortly. The performance gains are expected to be of up to 30 hp.

Is This The Next Generation Nissan Leaf?

Nissan Leaf Teaser ‘Together we ride to Tokyo’ is what Nissan has to say about this image. The Japanese company also revealed that this is the ‘future vision of car intelligence and electrification’ and that the car from the teaser image will be previewed at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. Since we know these facts, it is perfectly logical to ask whether this could be the next Nissan Leaf.

And since we have made a highlighted version of the image, which is shown below, it surely speaks in favor of our theory, doesn’t it? However, Nissan might have different plans for the future and might want to introduce a brand new model line which will be based on this concept. In other words, we should be expecting everything.

New generation Leaf or not, this vehicle will definitely be 100% electric, have a shape of a compact crossover and feature exclusive exterior styling and highly technological interior. Furthermore, if we recall facts well, back in September Nissan released a report stating that a new version of the Leaf (which is intended only for Tokyo) will use brand new batteries.

The new battery pack will offer a driving range of up to 400 km (250 miles). Compare this to the current Leaf and you’ll get how big the step forward is. Precisely, the current generation Leaf can go on a single battery charge up to 250 km (150 miles). At last, we should also say that the new battery technology will also be used in vehicles like an electrified crossover and luxurious sedan.

Honda Ridgeline Desert Race Truck Concept Debuts at SEMA

Honda Ridgeline Sketch Preview Honda Ridgeline was previewed in the beginning of this year at the Chicago Auto Show. Now, it is time for the loved Japanese brand to debut another concept vehicle based on the Ridgeline, precisely – Honda Ridgeline Desert Race Truck Concept, which will make a first appearance at SEMA. Note that the sketch featured in the article displays the previews in Chicago, but the good news is that the new ‘Desert’ pickup is debuting next year.

What do we know about the Ridgeline Desert Race Truck? First, it is obvious that it will offer additional styling direction of the anticipated Ridgeline pickup. Secondly, the “racing Ridgeline” also marks company’s re-entry into Honda Performance Development (HPD)-powered factory off-road racing.

HR-Vs and CR-Z

In addition, SEMA visitors will also see HR-V project vehicles, which will bring excitement through extreme performance and individuality. The HR-Vs were built in collaboration with several tuning houses.

Next to them, the 2016 Honda CR-Z sport hybrid coupe is going to make first appearance in North American. It will show its aggressive new exterior styling and significantly improved interior. Accessorized versions of the 2016 Honda Civic Sedan and 2016 Honda Pilot will also have a place at the show.

Mopar Shows Details of Vehicles That Will Participate at the SEMA Show

Mopar Dodge Challenger Mopar finally gives us a glimpse of what will be Mopar-modified vehicles that are scheduled to be demonstrated at the Specialty Equipment Market Association Show, November 306 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

What we see is a mix of concepts and production units that Mopar team decided to modify in one way or another. There would be Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM and FIAT vehicles which will proudly show their improvements. There are almost 20 cars, along with numerous Mopar parts and accessories that will be part of Mopar SEMA exhibit.

As you know, Mopar was launched back in 1937 and produced mainly antifreeze products, but later, in the 60’s the brand’s popularity elated as quickly as the muscle cars gained high speed. Today Mopar brand is FCA’s service and produces special parts and customer-care activities. It distributes more than 500,000 accessories around 150 markets around the world. Mopar parts are created and crafted by the same people who authorize specifications for FCA vehicles. With this said, you should know that this brand knows how it’s done and what a high-quality components looks like.

Petty’s Garage Shows Why Their Latest Mustang is Named King

Ford Mustang King Edition Bringing the tremendous 727 horsepower, the sweet Petty’s Garage 2016 Mustang GT King Edition is here to demonstrate why it earned that nickname. As you might know, Petty’s Garage is the in-house speed shop of NASCAR legend Richard Petty and now he and his crew return with the limited edition of the heavily modified Mustang GT.

This sweetie comes in three editions and exact numbers: 243 King models, 43 King Premier and 14 King Premier Convertibles.

So, what makes them so special besides being limited? First of all, the drivetrain system. Petty’s Garage enhances the Ford Performance stock 5.0-liter V8 engine. The additions are 235 hp (172 kW) that result on total of 670 hp (492 kW), custom engine calibration, cold-air intake and MagnaFlow exhaust. Furthermore Petty’s engineers added extreme-duty TrakPak Ford Performance halfshafts, three-way adjustable front and rear sway bars and a rear axle upgrade.

And in addition to the performance-oriented additions, the crew also included custom rear diffuser with Richard Petty-designed central exhaust, shift know, sill plates, floor mats and of course, the King signs on a special dash plate.

In fact, the King Premier edition comes with HRE/Petty’s Garage wheels and a special brake modification that includes a total of six-piston front brakes and four-piston rears and custom leather interior. The vehicle also comes with custom tri-color stripe package that includes blue, red and white stripes. There are also optional fine-tunings for the wheel bushing, coil-over racing suspension and the supercharged engine.

Ford Reveals the Mustang Lineup for SEMA

2015 SEMA Ford Mustang Side View SEMA Show is getting near and every brand is getting crazy about the products it is going to display. Each manufacturer wants to rise and shine and to show one-off vehicles. Some of the most awaited models include the GT-R, Hyundai’s creative cars and the American icons – Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang!

This year, Ford will showcase not one, two or three Mustangs at SEMA but eight. Yes, eight. This means that the company is obviously trying to satisfy the wishes and preferences of each and every visitor of the show. Besides the pictures, the company did not release many specifics about the cars, but the images tell a lot.

One of the highlights will definitely be Bisimoto Engineering’s Mustang with the EcoBoost engine. This is the last picture in our gallery below the text. As you can see, the model is fitted with custom body kit, new coilover suspension and 19-inch Fifteen52 Tarmac wheels accompanied by Toyo R888 tires.

More importantly, the huge changes here are regarding the 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder unit, which has Turbonetics BTX7668 turbocharger, better camshaft and exhaust as well as forged billet pistons and MagnaFuel 750 fuel pump. As a result, the powerplant now produces 900 hp (672 kW).

Another cool project that will be on display at the show is the DRAGG Mustang police vehicle, which has bi-color black and white exterior, a lot of carbon fiber in the form of additional parts and rides on huge 20-inch Velgen VMB7 alloys shod with Nitto Invo rubbers. The car has also everything necessary to be distinguished as a police vehicle.

Nissan GT-R NISMO N-Attack Package Debuts at SEMA Show

2016 Nissan GT-R NISMO N-Attack Package has just been announced as one of the ultimately special cars that will be featured at Nissan’s stand at the SEMA Show in November. The upper South Hall Booth with number 30024 will also feature three 2016 Nissan TITAN XD, Cummins project announcement and various NISMO parts.

The Titans

The event in Las Vegas will preview two of the TITAN XD models, which will be outfitted Genuine Nissan Official Accessories. Precisely, they will include key components from a new, 50-plus piece accessory lineup. In addition, truck’s integrated gooseneck hitch will be hooked up to a trailer carrying a unique Cummins Project TITAN XD. The official reveal will happen at a press conference on November 3.

The third TITAN XD has been made in collaboration with SEMA and it is a result of a record-breaking “measuring session” held in April. The vehicle is based on the PRO-4X model, and from September it has been undergoing extensive modification by SEMA members. If you visit the show, then you will find it at the SEMA display area in the Grand Lobby.

2016 Nissan GT-R NISMO N-Attack Package Front View

There is no second thought that the GT-R is one of the most exclusive, wanted and special cars that exist. And it isn’t a secret that it wouldn’t be a true SEMA Show without a Nissan GT-R. We are very pleased to reveal that the company is going to premiere the 2016 GT-R NISMO N-Attack Package, which has been developed by Nissan Motorsports International.

Precisely, the pack comprises of parts developed through the time attack project at Nürburgring in Germany. The race track is the place where the Nissan GT-R NISMO recorded the fastest-ever lap time for a volume production vehicle. Furthermore, in the United States STILLEN was chosen by NISMO as the official installer and certified sales agent for the package. There is no other words disclosed about the special car, but we are sure that Nissan will soon release more information on the project.

Kahn Releases Silver Land Rover Defender Hard Top CWT

Kahn Land Rover Defender Hard Top CWT Fron View Kahn and Land Rover unite again to present to you this one-off Silver 2.2 TDCI 90 Hard Top Chelsea Wide Track. As you can expect from the tuning studio, the aim of this project was to create a vehicle which is suitable for everyday urban driving but is still capable of traversing through off-road locations. The vehicle has been modified externally as well as internally and here are the details:

Exterior

The first thing we see about this Defender is that it is painted in special Silver color. The Hard Top Chelsea Wide Track vehicle is improved visually with side vents, an X-Lander grille and headlight surround.

Beneath the X-Lander grille, Kahn Design tuners have added new front bumper with replacement lights and an integrated aluminium sump guard. By the way it is obvious that the latter pays tribute to SUV’s off-road effectiveness.

Furthermore, the front and rear wheel arches have been extended and widened, thus giving the Defender more muscular appearance. They also make a perfect place for the new and bigger 16-inch 1948 Defend wheels, which come in Piano Black with a Diamond cut finish. At last, Kahn badging and a Chelsea Truck Company spare wheel cover round out the exterior modifications.

The work of the tuner continues inside with the luxurious work done throughout the cabin. Here we see the presence of the front sports GTB seats in quilted and perforated leather as well as the new aluminium foot pedals. Toyota Celebrates a Special Anniversary with a Special Concept

Toyota celebrates October 21, 2015. As you might know, this is the date that first introduced Back to the Future Part II with the recreation of Marty McFly’s dream car. And now, by using the 2016 Toyota Tacoma that was recently unveiled and went on sale in September, fans in Los Angeles, New York and Dallas will have the chance to see the truck in major tourist destinations.

And ensuring that 2016 Tacoma will looks like a modern-day version of the well-known classic from the movie, Toyota team made some tweaks and modification here and there.

Audi RS 6 Avant and RS 7 Performance Beasts are Almost Here!

Audi RS 6 Avant performance and Audi RS 7 Sportback performance are the two new vehicles which will demonstrate that a vehicle can not only be high-performance-oriented, but also efficient. How you ask? Let’s find out.

First of all, both vehicles are geared with 4.0 TSI units that provide the stunning 605 hp (445 kW) and up to 750 Nm. But this stunning power doesn’t ultimately mean that the vehicles are not efficient. The fuel consumption remains unchanged at 9,5 and 9,6 per 100 kilometers and the CO2 emissions are estimated 223 and 221 per kilometer. How cool is that?

The RS 6 Avant Performance and the RS 7 Sportback Performance need just 12.1 seconds to go from 0 to 200 km/h (123 mph) and in addition, the optional Dynamic pack enhances the top speed from 250 to 280 and 305 km/h (155 to 174 and 189 mph).
