VÄTH reveals new exclusive wheels in its latest tuning project. Check ’em out!

2018 VATH Mercedes-Benz E 350d Even a sexy vehicle as Mercedes-Benz E 350d can become even more appealing and more aggressive with a touch of exclusive features. VÄTH Automobiltechnik in Hösbach has done just that – add a kick to the prominent machine and showcase that boundaries can always be pushed forward.

First of all, VÄTH team has fitted an additional controller with optimized engine electronic, named V35D, which adds a neat kick to the overall power output in order to reach the massive 310hp and 710Nm of torque. This system also ensures new electronically limited top speed of 250km/h. Further enhances and changes include lowering the whole body height with a total of 30mm and exclusive suspension system fine-tuning.

All these enhancements are marked with exterior goodies – there are VÄTH-V2-GT rims installed in dimensions of 8,5×20-inch with 255/30ZR20 wheels on the front axle and 10,0×20-inch with 295/30ZR20 on the rear. These rims are available in titan-high-gloss or black finish and can be purchased separately from the whole tuning concept.

And last, but not least, the mighty vehicle can also be recognized by the mighty roar, provided by new exhaust system. Neat!

Aston Martin revives the iconic Golfifinger vehicle with limited edition series

1965 Aston Martin Goldfinger DB5 The iconic Aston Martin DB5 will make a dramatic return, due to a collaboration between Aston Martin and EON Productions. By following the success of DB4 G.T., there would be revealed a series of 25 Goldfinger DB5 editions that will perfectly resemble the original vehicle from 1964. In fact, the authentication process will extend in order to include functioning systems and components such as revolving number plates that made debut in Goldfinger. All these small details will be co-developed with Oscar-winner Chris Corbould, special effects superviser for James Bond movides.

As you might well know, this is one of the most recognizable James Bond vehicles. It appears in the third movie, called Goldfiner, alongside Sean Connery as James Bond himself. And since this glorious moment this model has appeared in six more James Bond movies: Thunderball, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, Casino Roylale, Skyfall and Spectre. As it seems, such a vehicle is as recognizable as the main protagonist himself!

Nowardays, thanks to the remarkable Goldfinger DB5 project, there will be a total of 25 authentic machines produced, plus additional three – one for EON, one for Aston Martin and another one for chartity activities. Neat!

Audi reveals further details about the new RS 5 Sportback machine

2019 Audi RS 5 Sportback 2019 RS 5 Sportback is one of these new guys in the family that are capable of focusing all the attention towards themselves. Coming to markets at the end of 2018, this vehicle will offer impeccable balance between sexy design, functionality and refined driving dynamics. Let’s check out more!

Exterior styling

The body of the new RS 5 Sportback is definitely an aggressive one and comes with numerous changes and additions, along with inspiration from other successful Audi models – for example, the 90 quattro IMSA GTO. RS 5 comes with waved-design shoulder line that enhances the athletic stance and flared box fenders which provide resemblance to the standard Quattro all-wheel drive machine. Also, the whole body is widened with a total of 15mm – such an extension contributes to the overall muscular and dominating stance. Neat!

And as any other premium sports car, the RS 5 Sportback comes with distinctive components. Such are the revised flat and wide Singleframe grille, large RS honeycomb air intakers, matte alu-optic front spoiler with Quattro script, matte alu-optic exterior mirror housing and glossy black side sills.

As it comes to the cabin and aesthetics, RS 5 Sportback features neat accents and driver-focused technologies. For example, Audi team has included this well-known wing-design wrap-around dashboard with user-friendly controls. There are also sporty seats with RS embossing, flat-bottomed and perforated leather RS sport steering wheel and gearshift, stainless steel pedals and new performance Audi Sport package.

This one is geared with a 2.9-liter TFSI V6 biturbo power unit that delivers a total of 444hp and 443lb-ft of torque, available at a wide rev range between 1,900 to 5,000rpm. This unit allow the vehicle to sprint from 0 to 60mph in mere 3.8 seconds and chase a top speed of 155mph. In fact, the top speed can be further boosted to 174, with the optional Dynamic Plus Package.

Furthermore, this vast power is distributed to all four wheels, thanks to Audi’s signature Quattro technology and is controlled by a sporty eight-speed Tiptronic gearbox with optimized shifting times. Also, the vehicle comes with standard RS sport suspension, which lowers the overall height with 7mm and ensures smooth and confident cornering and stability.

MG Motor team reveals details about its latest flagship model

2019-MG-Motor-MG3-910 MG Motor UK, one of UK’s fast growing brands, presents its latest project: a new MG3 vehicle that would replace the current flagship model and would showcase new design, technologies and utility gadgets. And given that there are tons of personalization features, we are eager to find out more about this vehicle.

First of all, the MK3 will be offered in three versions: Explore, Excite and Exclusive. All three trim levels are geared with Bluetooth, large color touchscreen, smartphone incorporation, DAB radio and steering wheel controls. However, Exclusive pack adds a reversing camera with dynamic guidelines. Sweet.

Starting with relatively low price, MG3 would also try to appeal to enthusiasts with sexy design. The whole visual concept has undergone an extensive update and now showcases star-rider grille with neat frames and brand’s notable logo, clean lines and sporty expression. The interior, on the other hand, is practical, spacious and stylish. In fact, new MG3 offers one of the roomiest cabins in the supermini segment with class-leading head and leg room. The revised design has aided designers and engineers to pump up the space to a total of 285 liters of capacity.

Volkswagen reveals efficient and agile concept vehicle

2018 Volkswagen XL1 Hybrid Concept Let’s talk about a supercar that is, above all, super efficient. Summer visitors of the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu can witness Volkswagen’s latest and definitely strangest vehicle – the XL1 Hybrid that offers cutting-edge low emissions, smooth driving experience and advanced technologies. So, let’s delve into Volkswagen’s ideas, shall we?

Presented as a Super Efficiency Vehicle, the XL1 is fitted with both electric motor and a compact 800cc two-cylinder diesel engine, paired to a dual-clutch seven-speed gearbox, delivering power to the rear wheels. As you might well expect, being a super-duper ecologically friendly machine, the XL1 can be driven solely on electric power for about 30 miles with a single charge. However, once the battery power drops below 14%, the diesel motor engages and together the vehicle can make a pretty impressive run of up to 340 miles with a single gallon of diesel. Neat!

By now you should have noticed the body style. It resembles a Jetta in wheelchair. Frankly said, we are unimpressed by the design work – the vehicle really looks as it would not live without the aid of a lifesaving system. However, Volkswagen team came up with an explanation and sort of an excuse: the body shell is constructed from carbon fiber reinforced polymer, and all component weight a fraction of the steel equivalents. And by installing polycarbonate windows, the XL1 has reached super-low overall weight: 795kg. Although we do understand the intention behind the lightweight construction, we still believe that the design hasn’t reached its prime state and form.

However, we are still eager to see this guy performing. Although not super-impressive performance rates are recorded, we see the results as satisfactory and capable of doing the job just fine – XL1 can speed from 0 to 62mph in 11.9 seconds and chase an electronically limited top speed of 99mph. Not bad for an efficient vehicle, right?

Named as “car of the future, built today”, XL1 is a result of almost two centuries of hard work – the first concept was revealed back in 2002 and the second seven years later in 2009 and featured tandem seating, while the 2011 version was offered as staggered side-by-side seats. Neat!

Ford Performance reveals limited run of new Mustang machines

2018 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet Ford Performance reveals details about one of the fastest drag vehicles that the brand has ever produced – a menacing Mustang that is capable of covering quarter of a mile in mere mid-eight-second range. This Mustang Cobra Jet is also a limited-edition vehicle that honors the 50^th anniversary of the original drab beast, revealed in 1968.

Making its debut this weekend at the 2018 Woodward Dream Cruise, the Cobra Jet would try to become the most powerful and quickest Mustang Cobra Jet ever created – and we tend to believe such words. After all, stock rates are pretty impressive – the vehicle can reach 150mph incredibly fast and at the same time the eight-second quarter mile run is pretty menacing achievement.

In terms of drivetrain system, the vehicle is geared with an exclusive 5.2-liter engine that appears to be a revised version of Ford’s popular and successful 5.0-liter V8 that is strengthened and enhanced with a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger. The power is distributed to the wheels through a 9-inch solid rear axle, two-way coil-over stocks with adjustable ride height and low-drag disc brake system from Strange Engineering. There’s also an exclusive four-link rear suspension with antiroll and panhard bars. Neat!

Furthermore, there are additional factory-provided racing performance upgrades such as NHRA-certified safety roll cage, FIA-certified seats and anniversary-badged racing wheels. Available in Race Red and Oxford White, the vehicle also features neat 50^th Anniversary graphics and badging. Nissan Sentra reveals further surprises for 2019 model year

2019 Nissan Sentra SR Turbo Nisan announces further details for the new 2019 Nissan Sentra, brand’s sexy answer to the demands of 2019 season year. Geared with tons of features and refined drivetrain system, the latest family member has a lot to demonstrate – and we are eager to review it, so let’s waste no more time and see what this bad boy has for us!

As expected, there’s new upgrade package that includes 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, rear disc brakes, Blind Spot Warning system, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Intelligent Cruise Control, power sliding glass moonroof with tilt feature, central room dim lamp and dual illuminated visor mirrors. Furthermore, every vehicle in the lineup features the already mentioned 17-inch 10-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels, lower body sill extensions, rear spoiler with integrated LED brake lights, fog lights and chrome exhaust tip finisher. Exclusively for NISMO trim level, engineers have included signature “layered double wing” design treatment in the front, side and rear lower body panels, while the interior features NISMO front seats with logo and additional side bolstering.

Honda reveals details for the new Civic lineup

2019 Honda Civic And finally we can see what Honda has brought on the table with the latest Civic model. Sedan and Coupe variants are already available for order and we are eager to see what these bad boys have to offer. To start off, we should mention that Sedan and Coupe versions have undergone tons of changes and tweaks in order to deliver us contemporary styling, blended with tons of neat features and engineering wonders. So, let’s check out what these bad boys are all about!

This is the 10^th generation of Civic and the team has marked the anniversary with aggressive design and recognizable stance. The most notable changes are indeed incorporated in the expression and drivetrain system. For 2019 Honda has relied on the sporty aggression: the vehicles are lower and wider, compared to older models and feature new piano black upper fascia wing, revised lower fascia, bumper and low grille, full width front splitter, chrome side pod accents and revised halogen or LED headlights. Basically, every exterior component has undergone through comprehensive changes.

In terms of drivetrain system, engineers have included optional combinations and choices, based on the trim level. Honda includes new technologies in the latest CR-V model. Check ’em out!

2019 Honda HR-V Honda has finally revealed more details about the new 2019 HR-V and by all the information we are given, we should say that this might well be one of the most sophisticated subcompact SUVs to date. Coming with tons of advanced technologies and numerous neat engineering wonders.

The new HR-V comes with elegant exterior design with new glossy dark chrome panes, font bumper with deeper air itake sections, new circular fog lights, projector lenses with revised LED daytime running lights. For the rear, the engineering team has included a dark chrome garnish across the tailgate mirrors and overall tight and sporty rear-end face. This agile expression is topped off with new 17-inch alloy wheels. Neat!

In terms of drivetrain system, 2019 Honda HR-V will be offered with the agile and efficient 1.5-liter i-VTEC naturally aspirated petrol unit that generates a total of 130hp and maximum torque of 155Nm. This system allows a 0-100km/h run to end in 10.2 seconds. However, the high speeds are not the focus with this one. The engine and the six-speed manual gearbox ensure smooth and progressive acceleration.

In terms of interior space and equipment, the team has added greater levels of insulating material and features Active Noise Cancellation system for the first time. This system is especially designed to reduce low-frequency noise in the cabin by using two special microphones and then cancelling these frequencies with well-timed reverse phase audio signals via the speakers. Audi showcases more details about the new A7 Coupe

2019-Audi-A7-910 The new 2019 Audi A7 is here and we are eager to know more and showcase everything that this bad boy has to offer. Built on the success of the first generation and featuring tons of contemporary gadgets and engineering solutions, the new family guy aims at the highest goals: remain favorite for Audi fans and enthusiast. Let’s see how!

First of all, the five-door coupe delivers new technologies as the new MMI touch response system and advanced driver assistance gadgets as the new adaptive cruise assist and Audi pre-sense 360. Of course, engineering team has constructed a mighty 3.0-liter TFSI turbocharged V6 unit that is part of the standard equipment, along with a new seven-speed S-tronic gearbox.

Design

In terms of exterior and interior design, we do believe that fans and buyers will be impressed – the revised coupe offers the best of three worlds – the spaciousness of a sedan, versatility of a sportback and dynamic design of a coupe. With distinctive proportions and neat additions, the A7 is pure eye-catcher.

At the front we do see a wide and low Singleframe grille with large air inlets and pronounced wheel arches and sloping roofline. With other words, this is a signature Audi silhouette, but this time with more additions and changes, compared to older models. Further goodies include titanium-black diffuser insert, illuminated S line door sills and a 20mm lower ride height due to the new sporty suspension. There are also large air inlets in the front bumper and stylish 19-inch Y-spoke design wheels, wrapped by all-season tires and optional 20-inch five-double-V-spoke design silver wheels with all-season tires. Flagship models can also be specified with 21-inch five-V-spoke-star design with contrast gray. Neat!

The interior, on the other hand, features numerous advanced technology goodies and premium fabrics and components. This is a heavily, but also stylishly ornamented cabin with strong focus towards the driver. The three-dimensional architecture allows placing numerous elements without sacrificing comfort or interior space. Some of the goodies include three-spoke multifunction steering wheel with shift paddles, standard three-zone climate control, standard panoramic sunroof and high-quality leather seats.

Drivetrain system

As mentioned, new A7 comes with a revised 3.0-liter TFSI V6 engine. This system produces massive power output, due to the addition of a turbocharger. This component replaces the belt-drive supercharger from the previous model and works in perfect harmony with the added Audi valvelift system. All these changes and additions result on 335hp and 369Nm of torque. Neat, right?

What is also notable about the new model is that all vehicles in the lineup are geared with Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle technology, which means that there is enough space for the 48-volt system to be placed under the rear cargo floor. For 2019 there’s also a newly developed standard steel front and rear suspension for the A7 model line that allows sporty driving, but also enhanced stability and comfort.

Additional features

Available second generation Audi virtual cockpit comes with 12.3-inch display with HD resolution, Audi phone box that connects compatible smartphones, standard Audi smartphone integration, Olufsen 3D Premium Audio System with 16-speakers, 15-channel amplifier and 705 watts. In terms of driver assistance technologies, Audi team has included Adaptive Cruise Assist, top view camera, turn assist system, active lane assist, traffic sign recognition, pre-sense city brake and numerous more.

Ford and Jiangling Motors reveal details about the new Territory SUV

2018 Ford Territory SUV Ford announced details about the new Territory, a mid-size SUV that would offer neat price to features ratio and would try to dominate the Chinese market and roads. Developed along with Jiangling Motors Corporation (JMC), the vehicle offers neat styling, tons of technological features and comprehensive drivetrain system. So, let’s delve into project’s details and see what makes this bad boy special.

First of all, Territory will be produced in JMC’s Xiao Lan plant, which meets Ford’s global standards. Furthermore, customers can choose between a fuel-efficient gasoline engine, a mild hybrid with Miller-Cycle technology and a plug-in hybrid system. Also, all models will be geared with Mandarian voice-command function, Co-Pilot360TM suite and Adaptive Cruise Control.

Territory features fresh and contemporary styling. Of course, Ford DNA dominates the whole body expression and stance with signature Ford mesh grille, flanked by LED lights, horizontal lines, lower skid plate and overall neat accents that contribute to the dynamic expression. Rigorously tested in harsh conditions, Territory has managed to pass all NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) tests and score an overall excellent results.

It is always cool to see such projects coming to life. With Ford’s popularity and the growing Chinese market, such a collaboration was a matter of time.
