    The Siegen based VW and Audi specialist B&B offers a wide tuning program for the new Q5, which allows the Audi’s performance to reach 325hp and 640Nm.
    The tuning program for the Q5 3.0TDI, consisting of 3 engine stages, starts with a modification of the car’s electronic device and an increase of boost pressure by 0,15bar. In this stage the car reaches 280hp and 585nm to the cost of 1298 euro. The second stage to the price of 1498 euro reaches 300hp and 600nm. By changing injection elements connected with modifications of the suction pipe, airflow and air cooling system the car’s performance values can be set to a maximum of 325hp and 640nm. (more…)

  • Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Confirms Ghost Figures

    Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has confirmed headline performance figures for Ghost, their new model which will be unveiled at the Frankfurt motor show in September.

    The Ghost will be powered by a brand new 6.6 litre turbo charged V12 engine unique to Rolls-Royce. This engine will produce 563 bhp, delivering a 0-60 mph time of 4.7 seconds and a governed top speed of 155 mph. The engine is combined with an 8-speed automatic ZF gearbox. (more…)

  • Bradford city centre comes to a standstill as British icon runs once again

    The streets of Bradford came to a standstill – on Sunday 19th July – to allow a 20-year-old Jaguar racing car that won the famous 24-hour race at Le Mans to run once again.

    Thousands of people turned out to welcome the iconic 1988 Jaguar XJR-9LM from the Jaguar Heritage museum in Coventry as it took to the streets, as part of the Bradford Classic Car show. The XJR-9LM led a parade of Jaguars into Centenary Square, watched by thousands of stunned onlookers. (more…)

  • Sportec Golf SC 200

    The word ‘downsizing’ resounds everywhere. Small volume engines with turbo charging and up-to-date technology promise favourable usage and exhaust values with reasonable performance. That less really can be more is emphasised by Sportec with its Sportec SC200 based on the VW Golf VI 1.4 TSI.

    The agile Golf is here turned into a real GTI killer that at the same time has the typically discreet Sportec external look. However, after its makeover the small Golf engine proves to be a crafty one. From a modest 1.4 litre cubic capacity the masterly electronic manipulation of the Swiss vehicle summons a full 200 PS with a torque of 300 Nm, which lies between 1,800 and 3,000 U/min (VW Series 160Ps/240 Nm by 1,500 U/min).   • Peugeot Launches The 207 Economique

    Europe’s top selling small hatchback, the Peugeot 207, is now even “greener” with the introduction of the new 207 Economique and Economique + which emit only 99g/km of CO2.

    In 2008, one in every six new cars sold that emit less than 120 g/km of CO2 was a Peugeot. Peugeot hold the protection of the environment as a key design strength in all its vehicles and is continuously developing them to reduce their emissions to the lowest possible level. (more…)

  • Audi releases 2010 MY prices for A4, A5, Q5

    Audi today released pricing for the 2010 model-year Audi A4 sedan, Audi A5 coupe and Audi Q5 crossover vehicle, which are headed to authorized Audi dealerships to meet strong consumer demand.

    Audi moved sales of the 2010 models ahead a few weeks following a successful sell-down of the previous model-year inventory. Sales of the 2009 Audi A5, for example, finished June 168% ahead of the sales pace set a year earlier. Demand for the all-new Audi Q5 has been exceptionally strong since its February introduction to consumers with sales hitting 5,701 so far this year. (more…)
