  • Seat Ibiza ST offers attractive design and practicality

    This is the estate version of Seat Ibiza, which makes it the third body style in the compact line-up from the Spanish manufacturer. It is a perfect vehicle for young people with sporty lifestyle. There are six engine variations and wide range of options and technologies. The market launch is scheduled for May.

    The length of Ibiza ST is 4.23 metres, which makes the vehicle 18 cm longer than the 5-door version. ST gives plenty of load space – 430 litres and additionally the rear seat can be folded or splitted to ensure 1 164 litres.   • Honda Insight recorded 63.6 mpg

    Insight won Honda Mileage Marathon event by doing an average of 63.6mpg (3.7l / 100km). The vehicle even improved its own result – the official economy figure was 61.4mpg (combined).

    The challenge involved six high mileage company car drivers, which swapped their own cars for a Honda Insight for a month, to test how the hybrid can reduce their fuel costs.

    Ray Hadlington, who usually drives a Vauxhall Zafira Diesel improved its own fuel economy by over 10 mpg, which is equal to £50 in fuel bills. (more…)

  • 2010 Toyota RAV4 now offers better equipment at the same price

    The compact recreational SUV – RAV4 is now proving its success with a new-look 2010 model. It also features higher equipment levels, revised line-up, better performance and last, but not least the fuel efficiency.

    The 2.2 D-4D engine is offered with a new entry-point model in the range, with 2-wheel drive and six-speed manual gearbox. This engine is now available with the top-of-range XT-R trim combined with speed automatic transmission.
