  • AC Cobra GT Roadster

    The amazing AC Cobra GT Roadster has just made its debut in London, delighting confirmed buyers and customers who were specially invited to the exclusive event. The iconic sports car has returned in spectacular fashion.

    The impressive event was held at the world-renowned Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, just a short distance away from the company’s original location. The all-new design was revealed to VIPs and customers, leaving them in awe.

    This highly exclusive car is available in both left and right-hand drive, and is powered by a thunderous 5.0-litre V8 engine that can deliver up to 663PS. The innovative extruded aluminum spaceframe chassis and carbon-composite bodywork offer a one-of-a-kind driving experience in this extremely limited-production vehicle.

    Customers were treated to a glimpse of the amazing bodywork and bespoke interior during the premiere of the new AC Cobra GT Roadster. They had the opportunity to admire the car’s stunning styling, get a feel for the interior design and meet the team behind the famous name to ensure the new sports car upholds its legacy.

    The brand new AC Cobra GT Roadster

    The AC Cobra GT Roadster is a brand-new sports car that’s been designed from scratch, using the most advanced technology and engineering techniques available today, while still staying true to the original AC Cobra’s spirit from the 1960s.

    It took nearly four years and a huge investment of millions of Euros to create this amazing new roadster. It’s been designed to be not just beautiful, but also practical and fun to drive. The company plans to produce only 250 of these GT Roadsters each year, and the first year’s production is already spoken for.

    The GT Roadster is fully street legal and can be ordered with either left or right-hand drive, and it has been built with the latest safety features in mind. Every detail of the car has been carefully considered, from the exterior design to the ergonomic layout of the interior.

    Compared to the original AC Cobra, the new GT Roadster is significantly larger, incorporating 50 years of design evolution. The cabin is incredibly spacious, even for drivers who are over six feet tall, thanks to the car’s modern ergonomics. The car’s drivetrain and control technologies have been updated to ensure it meets the standards of a true grand tourer.

    The new chassis has a wheelbase of 2570mm, which is 284mm longer than the AC Cobra Mk. VI, but the overall length of the car has only grown by 110mm, to a total length of 4225mm. The car’s track has been widened to provide better handling and agility, and the weight distribution and centre of gravity have been optimised to improve performance.

    The new AC Cobra boasts an incredibly lightweight and impressively rigid extruded aluminum spaceframe chassis, originally intended for an open-top car. The vehicle’s curb weight remains under 1450kg, even with a sleek carbon-composite body that weighs less than 50kg.

    Powering the AC Cobra is a formidable V8 engine that provides the speed and sound revered by fans worldwide. The new GT Roadster offers two engine options, including a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 and a supercharged version of the same modular engine that can deliver up to 654bhp (663PS) and 575lb ft (780Nm) – or 454bhp (460PS) and 420lb ft (570Nm) in standard configuration. The supercharged GT Roadster can achieve 0-60mph in just 3.4sec. You can choose from two available gearboxes, a 6-speed manual or an advanced 10-speed automatic with steering-wheel mounted shift paddles.

    The AC Cobra GT Roadster’s cabin is as advanced and exclusive as the car itself, featuring bespoke details and unique hand-finished elements never before seen in the automotive world. The leatherwork and upholstery blend highly resilient fabrics with traditional materials, paying homage to the car’s heritage.     Britain’s oldest automobile manufacturer, AC Car’s new Series 1 marks a completely new chapter in the brand’s 120-year history. Now, the latest model lineup features a sporty drivetrain system, advanced and hand-built electronics, and a fully electric engine system.

    What is also special about the vehicle is that it retains the iconic styling that made Cobra famous, as well as the advanced drivetrain system developed by Derbyshire partner Falcon Electric.

    Alan Lubinsky, Chief Executive of AC Cars for more than two decades, said, This was our first chance to show off the car, and the positive response was overwhelming. There’s so much adoration for the AC Cobra, whether you’re six years old or over 60 – and the chance to share and enjoy people’s stories was fantastic.     In terms of performance, the Cobra accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 4 seconds and has a massive output measured at 500Nm of torque, and 230kW via the 55kWh battery. The vehicle can cover a range of about 150 miles with a single charge.

  • Automobili Pininfarina showcases new Battista hyper car at the Monterey Car Week festival

    2021 Battista Hyper GTThe world’s first pure-electric hyper GT, the Automobili Pininfarina Battista, has made its debut in production form on the roads of California. As a part of a special programme of events during the Monterey Car Week, the Battista’s first road drive.

    The debut of the production-spec Battista will ensure that the US clients are among the first to experience the 1,900hp performance and to take a look at the beautiful Black Exposed Signature Carbon body design.

    The exclusive bodywork and precise drivetrain system are complemented by an exclusively tailored interior with Pilota seats and satin black leather, quilted Iconica Blu Alcantara, and Jewellery Pack finished in brushed aluminum anodized in black.

    The audience at the event will also see the US debut of the Battista Anniversario, a limited-run of merely five vehicles that represent the pinnacle of the brand in terms of design, aerodynamics, and performance.

    Both machines will also be on display at the Concours d’Elegance festival, as the pure-electric GT will be placed among other exclusive Battista machines from different periods of the brand’s 91-year history.

Indeed the new generation of AC Cobra Series 1 electric cars will demonstrate how contemporary technologies can go had by hand with high performance and sporty vibes.

    AC Cars is one of Britain’s oldest automobile manufacturers and has managed to impress its fans and enthusiasts with its advanced technologies and contemporary approaches, but yet retaining this authentic spirit of the classic sports car.

    With a 0-100km/h time of around 4secs, and 500 Nm of torque output, the Series 1 electric packs a punch akin to the famous Cobras of old, but with a range of around 150 emissions-free miles.

  • The first production Battista model makes its word debut at the Monterey Car Week event

    2021-Battista-Production-910Automobili Pininfarina takes one more significant step in the development process of the Battista Hyper GT with the first production-spec example making its debut at the Monterey Car Week event 12-15 August.

    The particular vehicle will demonstrate a distinctive black exposed signature carbon fibre bodywork and black glossy precision polished Impulso rims. Also, the interior features black sustainable leather with striking Iconica Blu contrast stitching and quilted Pilota seats in Iconica Blu Alcantara.

    The audience at the event will also see the debut of the exclusive Battista Anniversario, a tribute vehicle to the life and work of the design icon Battista “Pinin” Farina. Limited to merely five vehicles, the lineup will represent the pinnacle of the Automobili Pininfarina’s Pura design concept. This exclusive model will also be attending the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance later this year.

The Series 1 lineup remains faithful to the origins of the AC Cobra, but also incorporates modern technical approaches and features a fully electric engine. Furthermore, the vehicle adopts the classic expression of the Cobra heritage and will still incorporate numerous of the well-known and beloved vintage features.

    Working closely with the Derby-based tech partner Falcon Electric, the Norfolk-based company ensures that the implementation of the EV within the new-gen Cobra is impeccable and ensures that the vehicle delivers just the exact performance rates that customers expect and even going beyond these expectations.

Also, the 150 zero-emission mile coverage range with a single charge underlines that this is a Cobra of a completely different breed.

    At the moment, plans include only 58 units of the AC Cobra Series 1 to be made, celebrating the anniversary of the production of the first AC Cobra ever unveiled.

    2021 Automobili Pininfarina Battista hyper GTThe Automobili Pininfarina Battista hyper GT continues to impress skeptics and enthusiasts with its capabilities and the latest achievement is that the pure-electric hyper GT car has earned the “Electric Dream” award by Electrifying.com.

    The fully-electric Battista took home the award given by a demanding panel of juries, consistent of experts in the field of motorsport. The award comes as the vehicle’s testing programs are about to finish, and some selected clients can give a feedback for vehicle’s capabilities.

    Also, the achievement follows the recent launch of Automobili Pininfarina London, which increases the company’s global footprint with the appointment of Jardine Motors Group as its London and the southern UK retail partner. Meanwhile, potential clients were offered the opportunity to take to the passenger seat of the Battista hyper GT at Goodwood Motor Circuit to get their first feel of the car’s advanced performance rates.

    2011 AC Cobra will actually hit the market. The roadster will has its debut at the Geneva auto Show this March.

    It is company’s 110th birthday, which will be marked by the new vehicle. This is the sixth generation of this model and features a Corvette V8 engine developing 430HP.

    The price will be 109 000 EUR.
