Meet the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster Golden Limited Edition [VIDEO]

Despite the fact that we have seen a lot of special editions, surreal concepts and other exotic models, the auto industry will not stop with the surprises. Surprises that sometimes might be too pricey for our wallets… Especially when they are designed for Saudi Arabi. Now Maatouk Design London has set its eyes on the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster and has taken its glory one level up. The company has introduced a special edition of the car which acknowledges the Qatar National Day 2015.

This time around, Lamborghini Aventador Roadster can be seen ruling the streets of Doha with a new specially developed design that can melt one’s heart. The customized golden limited edition vehicle is owned by the Qatari Businessman Mr. Jaber Bin Abdallah Al Hmaidi. he requested a one-of-a-kind modification of his car before the Qatar National Day 2015 festivals.

Thanks to the skillful professionals from Maatouk Design, the exterior looks more splendid than ever. In order to transform the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster into something that possesses an exclusive conception, the company used pure gold plated material on the outside. There are also Qatar National Day logos. Along with the rest of the golden accents, they create a magnificent correlation between the Gulf excellence and the original Italian flavor.

Finally, golden elements and lines adorn the interior of the Maatouk Design Lamborghini Aventador Roadster. Such accents feature on the cockpit, the steering wheel and the doors too.

New Volkswagen Up! Model Goes Official

Orders for the new street-wise Volkswagen up! models started today ahead of the first scheduled deliveries in March. The Street up! and Club up! mini cars arrive with fuel-efficient characteristics, convenient form and satisfying equipment.

Both cars take their power from the up!’s most powerful 1.0-litre petrol engine which produces 75 PS at 6,200 rpm. The three-cylinder engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. It returns 60.1 mpg on the combined cycle and emits 108 g/km of CO₂. Lastly, the two compact automobiles produce a maximum torque of 95 Nm (70 lbs ft) between 3,000 and 4,300 rpm.

Volkswagen Street up! benefits from 16-inch Upsilon alloy wheels, standard Pure White, Black Pearl or Reflex Silver paint, 65 per cent tinted glass from the B-pillar back, “Street” badging, decals on side, bonnet, boot and roof, wing mirrors that come in silver (except for the Reflex Silver models on which they are in black). Additionally, there are body colored bumpers with chrome moulding on the front fog lights, leather steering wheel with up! lettering, up! scuff plates with yellow stripe, black roof lining, carpet mats and original “Street” cloth upholstery.

On the other hand, the new Volkswagen Club up! model boosts its sophistication with 16-inch Triangle alloy wheels, unique Blueberry metallic or Black Pearl paint, as well as 65 per cent tinted glass from the B-pillar back, “Club” badging and decals on side panels in silver. Moreover, there are wing mirrors in silver too, up! scuff plates, black roof lining, carpet mats and unique “Club” Tartan Tonic cloth upholstery.

The price for the Street up! and Club up! 3-door models is that of £11,995, while the 5-door versions will cost £12,370.

BMW 2 Series Convertible: Extra Style with M Performance Parts

BMW has launched more exclusive M Performance Parts for the 2 Series Convertible which aim to not only elevate the sporty feel when driving the car but to also increase its value. So, if you have got your eyes on this model, you can now enhance its look by choosing it to be more aggressive than that of the stock version.

First of all, M Performance Power Kit improves the engine output of the BMW 220d Convertible with additional 14 HP (11 kW). As a result, we have power boosted from 190 HP (140 kW) to 204 HP (151 kW), while cutting the car’s 0 – 60 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time by 0.3 seconds. Even though the power output is bigger, the combined fuel consumption has not been increased. Thus, it stands at 4.7–4.4 l/100 km with CO2 emissions of 124–116 g/km.

In relation to the body-look of the BMW 2 Series Convertible, thanks to the M Performance Parts, it receives an extra flair of dynamism. The model can be fitted with new side skirts and side decals with M Performance lettering, new diffusor, carbon exterior mirror caps and a reworked front grille with black trim surround. The car can be ordered with a set of 19-inch alloy wheels in 405 M and 624 M styling.

There are some improvements inside too. The BMW M Performance Accessories range for the interior includes: selector lever trim or gearshift lever in manual cars with Alcantara gaiter, center console trim, center armrest and interior trim strips in carbon and, lastly, Alcantara steering wheel with or without an integrated Race Display.

2015 SsangYong Tivoli is a Car That Targets Younger Buyers

Modern and kind of attractive, the new compact SUV by SsangYong debuted in Korea. 2015 SsangYong Tivoli offers convenience, space, increased safety, practicality and eye-pleasing design. It is perfect for those who are looking for a vehicle with class-leading functions as well as nicely outlined shape.

There are two choices of powertrains: 1.6 litre petrol or diesel engines. The newly developed e-XGi160 petrol engine delivers 124 bhp and 157 Nm of torque. When Performance Comes in Blue: 2016 Lexus GS F

One of the most-anticipated cars by Lexus this year has been presented at the 2015 North American International Auto Show. The high performance vehicle is dubbed Lexus GS F. It really represents a pioneer in the F-line since it is the first to be based on the larger mid-sized GS luxury sedan.

Trying to slightly get away from its comfort zone, Lexus aimed at producing a car that is rather performance-oriented with a luxury flavor. As a result, this time the automaker left behind the days when Lexus sedans had that deprived of edginess look and were quite plain, comfort-based and even boring. Thanks to the naturally-aspirated 5.0-litre V8 engine, the 2016 Lexus GS F turns into a vehicle which is all about power and breaking the rules. The power output is that of 467 HP (348 kW) while the maximum torque is 527Nm (389lb-ft).

The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox with manual-shifting capabilities and three modes: Normal, Sport S and Sport S+. Found in the RC F model, the Torque Vectoring Differential (TVD) is used here as well, offering three operating modes: Standard, Slalom and Track. There is also a refined and specially designed suspension system which complements the boosted output. Benefiting from 19-inch alloy wheels with larger tires (255/35-19 front, and 275/35-19 rear) as well as from an upgraded braking system, the new GS F just demonstrated a bit more aggressive character.

Some of the features that additionally underline the acute nature of the Lexus GS F are: the enlarged Lexus’ trademark ‘spindle’ grille, with a mesh pattern and large gaping air vents, refined side skirts, a carbon fiber boot lid spoiler and headlights with L-shaped daytime running lamps. Inside, the cabin arrives with front sport seats, two-tone leather and Alcantara upholstery as well as carbon trims and a sports steering wheel.

2015 Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS with 440 HP and Great Noise [VIDEO]

Porsche knows how to surprise us and just when we were thinking that Porsche 911 Targa could not get any better, we were presented with a 911 Targa 4 GTS! This dazzling little automotive jewelry is the perfect final piece to add to your collection… If you have one. If not, well, it isn’t too bad for a start!

Being unveiled at the North American International Auto Show, the 2015 Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS takes its power from a 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine that pushes 430 PS (316 kW) and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the car to speed up from 0–60 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.1 seconds, before scoring a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h).

Created to mark the 50th anniversary of the 911 Targa, the model is equipped with a sportier front end design, wider rear fenders and tinted bi-xenon headlights. Aerodynamic mirrors, a sports exhaust system and gloss black 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels are part of the features as well. Let’s not forget the GTS logo on the doors, rear as well as the Targa bar.

There isn’t much to be added about the interior except that the cabin takes its usual Alcantara upholstery and four-way adjustable Sport Plus seats for exceptional comfort.

The new Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS will go on sale in Germany in March. Its starting price is that of €137,422.

Does the AHG-Sports Infiniti QX70 Really Make a Difference?

Infiniti QX70 just got a bit more exclusive thanks to a new body kit and tuning package by AHG-Sports. The Japanese QX70 SUV is really worth to be noticed because after the improvements, it shows refined performance characteristics and specifications.

Named LR2, the body kit is comprised of front bumper with LED day lights, side skirts, wheel moldings which are painted in the same color as that of the car, rear bumper with talipipes and body colored wheels. The price of this pack is 11,900 Euros, which results in bringing the final cost of the reworked Infiniti to 89,900 Euros.

Mercedes-Benz C 450 AMG with an Extra Oomph

Mercedes-Benz has presented the C450 AMG Sport in Detroit at 2015 NAIAS, promising an unmatched AMG expressiveness, typical for the brand. The new AMG sports model is available as a saloon and an estate version.

From the very first look it becomes apparent that 2016 Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG Sport indicates sufficient class, style and presence. Thew new version takes advantage of an upgraded twin-turbo V6 3.0-liter engine that delivers 362 bhp (270 kW) at 5,500 rpm and 517 Nm (382 lb-ft) of peak torque available between 2,000 rpm and 4,200 rpm.

This significant power output is transmitted to a 4MATIC all-wheel drive system through an improved 7G-TRONIC seven-speed automatic gearbox. It allows the sedan to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.9 seconds. The wagon slightly slower, by 0.1s precisely. Still, both of the vehicles have a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).

But the extra oomph is not all, because the the C450 models share some of the range-topping C63’s technical features such as: optimised pull rods and front-axle carrier mounts, firmer springs and adjustable dampers. There are also new load bearing joints, additional negative camber and tweaked steering knuckles.

For an extra pinch of individualism, the C450 AMG features 5-spoke black AMG light-alloy wheels wrapped around in 225/45 front and 245/40 rear tires. Still. attractive 48.3-cm (19-inches) light-alloy wheels in different designs are available as an option too.

Standard equipment components of the Mercedes-Benz C 450 AMG 4MATIC include: adaptive brake, Attention Assist, audio 20 USB multimedia system, Collision Prevention Assist Plus, ECO start/stop function, ISOFIX child seat attachment system and sports pedals.

The exclusive sporty interior is underlined by a front bumper with original air intakes, diamond meshes, black exterior mirror housings, silver chrome trim, as well as a rear bumper with matt iridium silver diffuser insert. On the inside, the car caries the same sporty but classy flavor thanks to the sports seats, 3-spoke nappa leather sports steering wheel with flat bottom, red seat belts, red stitching, alloy pedals and other minimal interior enhancements.

Jeep Wrangler Sport Arrives with More Power

Known for their styling and performance improvements for US cars, the Munich region-based professionals at GeigerCars.de provide a Jeep Wrangler with some significant modifications. Like a supercharger upgrade that boosts the Jeep’s power for example.

Thanks to the GeigerCars.de supercharger, the Wrangler’s 3.6 liter V6 engine is now able to pump out a power output that is 80 HP and 70 Nm of torque more than before. Thus, the vehicle now has to tame 356 horses while giving 417 Nm of torque respectively.

Other components which are part of the conversion are: a cold air intake box, charge air inter-cooler and bespoke ECU remapping. Furthermore, power and throttle response are helped by GeigerCars.de four-outlet-pipe stainless steel sports exhaust. It reduces back-pressure and is able to offer more sporty and harmonious sound. If such sound could be described as harmonious… Maybe harmonious in a rougher way.

What is more, the off-road capability of this powerful automotive monster is improved by a riser kit that lifts the ground clearance by 2.5 inches and also raises the seating position. Looking tougher than ever, this Jeep Wrangler Sport benefits from 18-inch alloy wheels with 305/70 Mickey Thompson tires. The tuner also gives the Jeep five powerful LED E-marked street legal auxiliary lights, front bumper bull bar and strong metal front skid plate, protecting the front grille and the undercarriage when going through a difficult terrain, while the rear bumper gains a special carrier for the big spare wheel and a water tank.

Lastly, this vehicle comes with the factory automatic transmission, hardtop, leather upholstery, high-end audio system, and a kilometers speedometer.

The completed 2015 GeigerCars Jeep Wrangler Sport with all the components costs 64,200 euro. Yet, they can be ordered separately.

Alfa Romeo is the New Yellow

Enough is enough already! After a series of teasing and leaked images, Alfa Romeo finally showed its 2015 redesigned Alfa Romeo 4C Spider at the North American International Auto Show. If you liked the initial 4C Coupe design, you will be glad to know that the automaker has preserved bigger part of it. Not to disappoint those who have been expecting it to be improved, the car arrives with some alterations. Just to spice things up a bit.

You might get bored, though, from the powerplant since power is still produced by the same four-cylinder, 1.75-liter turbocharged gasoline engine used in the 4C Coupe. It generates 177 HP (237 bhp) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of maximum torque.

The thing that is quite different is the optional exit lightweight Akrapovic exhaust system that comes with center-mounted tips with carbon fiber surrounds. The performance status hasn’t been changed either so the new 4C Spider covers the 0-60 mph run in 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 160 mph. To bore you even more with listing the same features, just like the 4C Coupe, the 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider will be available with the standard and the Racing exhaust system.

Perhaps the most notable alteration is the removable roof which refines the traditional spider body look. And honestly, the open-top is the only thing that I find exiting. Otherwise, it is just the same as its sibling! Almost. The open-air model also receives refined headlights which are somehow slightly more appealing and attractive than the old version. Another new attachment is the set of either 17-inch (front)/18-inch (rear) or 18-inch (front)/19-inch (rear) sizes all-new wheels in Silver or Dark finishes.

The color… In combination with chopping off the roof, adding a new color is the easiest way to expand the range. So by giving the car this saturated yellowness, the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider US version kind of really manages to sting one’s vision.

Unfortunately, the price hasn’t been announced yet.

Smart Fortwo Edition Flashlight Cabrio – Big Name for a Small-sized Car

Smart has revealed the fortwo edition flashlight cabrio at the 2015 North American International Auto Show, ahead of its global deliveries beginning in April. The special model implements premium sporty feel on the outside as well as on the inside too.

There are three different engine-versions available for the Smart fortwo edition flashlight cabrio. It can be purchased with a three-cylinder 1.0-liter naturally aspirated engine which develops at 71 HP (52 kW) at the price of €17,580. There is also a turbocharged 84 HP (62 kW) variant at €18,150. Lastly, Smart is offering a 55 kW electric model that costs €22,992.

There is a choice of body panels for the edition flashlight, so customers can select either a deep black or an exclusive matte crystal white finish. Still though, the tradition safety cell and door mirror caps in lava orange are available for all cars. The special edition is additionally differentiated from other models thanks to the black radiator grille, black alloy wheels in a 3-twin-spoke design with lava orange hub covers providing striking accents, H7 projection headlamps with a titanium-colored background and the edition logo in the mirror triangle.

In terms of interior design, the style of the new Smart fortwo edition flashlight cabrio is highlighted by black leather seats with black fabric inserts on the backrests. The orange contrasting stitching contributes with a genuine effectiveness too. There is also a three-spoke leather steering wheel, one-of-a-kind “edition flashlight” floor mats. Lastly, a softouch automatic gearshift programme and an Audio-System basic come as standard features. The latter includes an RDS radio with USB and AUX ports for MP3 or CD player, two integrated loudspeakers and an additional drawer below the operating unit.
