MINI reveals new 2022 Countryman Boardwalk Edition. Check it out!

MINI USA announced more details for the new 2022 Countryman Boardwalk Edition. This model offers an extended list of standard equipment and some new design ideas.

Based on the Cooper S variant, the Countryman Boardwalk Edition comes with exclusive color combinations, expressive design, and a cozy interior. As it comes to the outside of the automobile, Boardwalk Edition features a Deep Laguna Metallic body color complemented by black contrast finish on the roof and matching exterior mirror caps.

Furthermore, the vehicle comes with matching black 18-inch Pin Spoke Wheels and a Piano Black Exterior trim. Back to the interior, the Boardwalk Edition includes a Leather Cross Punch Black interior trim and Touchscreen Navigation Package on the console. There are also door sills, roof, and dashboard graphics and exclusive Boardwalk side scuttles.

New MINI member includes some neat comfort and infotainment additions like SiriusXM Satellite Radio with one year All-Access, a Harman/Kardon Audio System, Touchscreen Navigation, Heated Front Seats, Storage Package and Automatic Climate Control.

In terms of equipment, the vehicle can also be specified with LED Fog Lights and Headlights, Comfort Access Keyless Entry, and power-folding exterior mirrors with auto-dimming on both exterior and interior mirrors.

M340 xDrive receives some neat Dahler upgrades
The mild-hybrid system used to support and relieve the internal combustion engine in many of the BWW vehicles works with its full potential when paired with the custom M340i xDrive “DCL Dahler competition line. This 48-volt mild-hybrid technology is based on a starter-generator and a battery and manages to reduce the fuel consumption and contribute to some power output boost.

The specialists at Dahler have put the factory-installed B58 power unit through some power-enhancing upgrades and have managed to extract all the output potential of the unit and ensure a rewarding driving experience.

The upgrade pack for the M340i xDrive (G20/G21) “DCL Dahler competition line is consistent of:
- Power boost level 1 “powered by Dahler”: 320 kW (435 hp), 610 Nm (450 ft-lb) WLTP-E6d tested and approved for sale in the EU and Switzerland, with the corresponding supplementary warranty in addition to factory warranty.
- Power boost level 2 “powered by Dahler”: 334 kW (455 hp), 640 Nm (472 ft-lb), incl. increase of the series V/max limit. (In preparation)
- Stainless steel exhaust system “built by Dahler” with the sporty, and instantly recognizable roar. Optionally, the exhaust system can be rounded off with 4 ceramic-coated 90mm Dahler tailpipes.
- A conversion package with a power boost in combination with the Eventuri intake system.

Also, optionally, buyers can specify their vehicle with Competition Coilover suspension that is specially tailored to the vehicle and provides a smooth and sporty supple drive.

Bentley reveals new Continental GT Speed

Bentley Motors releases details of the new Continental GT Speed – the brand’s most dynamic street-legal car so far. Designed and engineered in Bentley’s carbon-neutral luxury automotive factory, the latest family member continues the Speed lineup legacy.

Exterior design

The aggressive bodywork that the Speed lineup is known for has been further enhanced. The vehicle reveals a powerful stance and incorporates elegant lines and neat curves. This particular model adds a Dark Tint radiator grille and a lower bumper grille, as well as a unique set of sports sills, a Dark Tint radiator matrix, and a set o Speed badges.

Another prominent feature is the addition of the exclusive 22-inch Speed wheels in bright silver, with the option to add a dark tint or a black glossy finish.

Interior design

The cabin of the new Continental GT Speed reveals Bentley’s dedication to creating one of the world’s finest interior designs. The interior is dominated by numerous handcrafted materials, exclusive badges and special color schemes. Furthermore, the vehicle’s exclusivity is highlighted by dual-tone colors – there are a total of 15 main and 11 secondary colors that buyers can choose from.

There’s also a large choice of veneers – Piano Black is the standard one, but customers can specify their vehicle with Crown Cut Walnut, Dark Stained Burr Walnut and Dark Fiddleback Eucalyptus.

Drivetrain system

The new GT Speed comes with the brand’s renowned 6.0-liter W12 TSI power unit, delivering a total of 650hp and the whooping 900NNm of torque. This combination results in a top speed of 208mph (335km/h) and 0-100km/h acceleration in 3.6 seconds.

Both the engine and the dual-clutch eight-speed gearbox have been fine-tuned to suit the vehicle’s performance-focused spirit and now offer selectable driving modes that add one more layer of dynamics and flexibility.

Also new for the model lineup is the Electronic All-Wheel Steering system that gives a kick to the performance output.

Jeep Top Dog Concept: a special machine from a special lineup

Jeep’s new and exclusive lineup of vehicles comes to show us how clean and sustainable the future can be, but without sacrificing comfort and pleasure of driving, nor the advanced tech units that are featured in every vehicle in the series.

The lineup consists of Magento, Jeepster Beach, Red Bare, Orange Peelz, Farout, Wrangler Rubicon 392, and Top Dog models. In a series of articles, we will tell you a bit about every single one and what makes it special, so stick with us!

Jeep Top Dog

Based on the 2020 Gladiator Concept, the Top Dog comes with enhanced cargo-carrying capabilities and enhanced performance rates. The vehicle comes with a JPP –inch lift kit with FOX shocks that ensure more ground clearance, enhanced by the 17-inch aluminum wheels, and 37-inch BF Goodrich KM3 mud-terrain tires. Top Dog also comes with exclusive fender flares for even more clearance.

In terms of the drivetrain system, the vehicle is powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine with 285hp and 260lb-ft, connected to a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic gearbox.

In terms of exterior design, Top Dog showcases a pronounced JPP Rubicon bumper, 2-inch steel grille guard, and exclusive JPP 8,000lb-capacity Rubicon Warn winch.

Also, Black Dog showcases custom black Mopar hood latches with Jeep Willys logo. There’s also a JPP snorkel that helps direct cool air into the engine when the off-road conditions require so. Last, but not least, the vehicle is characterized by neat off-road LED lights at the base of the A-pillars.

In terms of interior, the cabin of the Top Dog comes with tons of K-9 Blue accents. There are also K-9 Blue interior bezels and sexy K-9 Blue stitching on the black Katzkin leather seats, armrests, shifter boots, steering wheel and parking brake handle. Some additional accessories that are worth mentioning are the Mopar stainless-steel pedal covers with black rubber pads and the all-weather floor mats.

New Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Concept comes with enhanced engine and cozy interior

Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392

First conceived as a V8-powered machine, it is one of the most aggressive and high-performance ready machines in the exclusive Concept lineup. Specially designed to tackle down off-road challenges, Rubicon generates a total of 485hp and 475lb-ft of torque. The naturally aspirated 6.4-liter unit is fine-tuned and enhanced in such a way that the peak torque is available just above the vehicle’s idle speed, which dramatically boosts the off-road capabilities of the Rubicon.

Along with the powerful engine, the vehicle also features a dual-mode performance exhaust that switches between wild and outrageous and a central scoop at the front hood. There are also custom-built doors and a Sky-One-touch powertop with a removable set of side panels.

The exterior is adorned with bronze-accentuated tow hooks, badges, springs, and shocks, while the interior features this bold Oxblood Red leather seat with gold stitching. For some additional capacity, a JPP 2-inch lift kit, exclusive 17-inch Beadlock wheels with 37-inch mud-terrain tires, Mopar Rock Rails, steel bumpers are added to aid the driver in any road and off-road situation.

Jeep Farout Concept: a quick overview

Jeep team reveals an exclusive lineup of Concept vehicles with sustainability in mind and tons of advanced features. In a series of articles, we will show you each machine in the series and will tell you a bit more about what makes it special. The lineup is consistent with Magento, Jeepster Beach, Red Bare, Orange Peelz, Farout, Wrangler Rubicon 392, and Top Dog models.

Jeep Farout

Based on the 2019 Wayout concept, the Farout is a true heir and comes with class-leading payload and fuel efficiency, and tons of output via the fine-tuned 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine. This is a third-generation turbocharged engine and provides enhanced performance and minimal levels of noise and vibration.

What makes this vehicle special, however, is deployable AT Overland Equipment Habitat Truck Topper. The spacious 16-foot long and 7.5-foot tall recreational space opens and retracts in seconds. When unpacked, it sleeps up to four.

Also, the Farout Concept comes with a welcoming wood-lined interior with soft ambient lighting, a handy refrigerator and stove, and storage racks. There’s also a built-in table space and comfortable seats. Dark smoke blue leather dominates the interior space, while the orange stitching makes the perfect contrast.

In terms of exterior, the vehicle proudly presents a new Early body finish with Chartreuse accents on the hood, rear tailgate tow hooks, springs, badges, and shocks. The stance is further enhanced by the JPP 2-Inch lift kit, 17-inch matte charcoal rims, 37-inch mud-terrain tires, and exclusive Gladiator Rubicon steel Bumper.

Jeep presents new Orange Peelz Concept vehicle!

Jeep reveals a new Concept lineup of vehicles with tons of exclusive features and numerous cool additions and changes. In a series of articles, we will take a closer look at each individual automobile and tell you a bit more about its capabilities.

The lineup is consistent with Magento, Jeepster Beach, Red Bare, Orange Peelz, Farout, Wrangler Rubicon 392, and Top Dog models.

The Jeep Orange Peelz

Based on the two-door Wrangler, the Orange Peelz Concept pays tribute to the long-standing open-air and dynamic lifestyle that the Wrangler lineup incorporates.

The off-road capabilities of this particular model come from the trustworthy and proven JPP 2-inch lift kit with FOX shocks for more ground clearance. Along with the high-top fender flares, we see 17-inch JPP Beadlock-capable aluminum wheels wrapped by 37-inch BF Goodrich KM3 mud-terrain tires with Mopar valve stem caps.

Additional visual enhancements are made by the incorporation of Satin Black 360-degree custom beltline graphic and Satin Black vintage Jeep fender badges.

Orange Peelz also comes with a hood with custom black Mopar latches with Jeep Willys logo and JPP 5-inch off-road LED lights at the base of the A-pillars. For some more protection and visual impact, the Orange Peelz is geared with a factory-backed Mopar windshield made with Corning Gorilla Glass.

At the rear, there’s a large JPP Swing Gate Hinge Reinforcement that allows for a larger spare tire. Also, a JPP CHMSL (Center High-Mount Stop Lamp) Relocation Kit mounts the third brake light in the center of the spare tire.

The interior is characterized by neat orange stitching and numerous components that match the Orange Peelz exterior color scheme. The cabin also features Mopar stainless steel pedal covers and rubber pads for additional control and traction capabilities.

In terms of the drivetrain system, the vehicle is powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with 285hp and 260lb-ft of torque, mated to a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic gearbox. The engine is reinforced by a JPP cold-air intake and JPP cat-black exhaust system.

Jeep Red Bare: one more exclusive vehicle in a special lineup

Jeep unveils a special lineup of vehicles. All of them come with advanced drivetrain systems and tons of exclusive technologies and features. Rich in choice and customization, the exclusive lineup includes new Magento, Jeepster Beach, Red Bare, Orange Peelz, Farout, Wrangler Rubicon 392, and Top Dog models.

In a special series of articles, we will show you every single one in detail and give you some more insight into the brand’s approach with the entire lineup.

Jeep Red Bare

The Red Bare is all about power and off-road capabilities. Powering the exclusive vehicle is a turbocharged 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 generating 260hp and 442lb-ft of torque. It also includes a special Start-Stop technology as a part of the standard equipment. In order to handle torque loads better, the EcoDiesel is mated to a TorqueFlite 8HP75 eight-speed automatic, especially fine-tuned for low RPM shifts and better maneuvering on tough terrain.

Furthermore, the Red Bare features Dana 44 front and rear heavy-duty axles with upgraded 4.88 axle ratios for optimum performance. What makes this drivetrain special is also the 91:1 crawl ratio that helps the vehicle tackle even the toughest terrains.

In terms of exterior, the vehicle features a Fire Cracker Red theme with custom Matte Black graphics with gold accents, Mojave hood, and cowl pieces, and custom hood graphics, and a Matte Black signature seven-slot grille insert.

As it comes to the interior, the vehicle incorporates Katzkin Black leather seats with red stitching and custom red flannel inserts. The instrument panel is wrapped in the same red cover and gives the interior a bold and yet elegant finish.

The Red Bare concept also comes with a JPP 2-inch lift kit, 17-inch Matte Black wheels with 37-inch BFG mud-terrain tires, cargo red-mounted sports bar, JPP Sand Slider rock rails, and a front bumper guard.

Jeep unveils a new lineup of custom vehicles with tons of cool features and sustainable drivetrain systems. The lineup includes Magento, Jeepster Beach, Red Bare, Orange Peelz, Farout, Wrangler Rubicon 392, and Top Dog.

In a series of articles, we will show you each vehicle in the lineup and tell you more about its capabilities and additions.

Jeepster Beach

This lineup of exclusive vehicles wouldn’t be complete without paying homage to the off-road Jeep machines of the past. And this is indeed what the special Jeepster Beach is created for.

Designed around the growing interest in a 4×4 vehicle, the Jeep Commando was the first compact four-wheel-drive machine that included an automatic gearbox and some cool features like roll-up side glass and a heater.

Jeepster Beach’s concept is based on the 1968 Commando (C-101) and is blended with the 2020 Wrangler Rubicon. The new family member proudly continues the tradition of delivering fun-to-drive dynamics and presents a ton of cool additions and changes.

This particular model was modified and now includes some cool chrome trim details, bright two-tone body finish of Hazy IPA and Zinc Oxide, and still is capable of showing incredible performance both on- and off the road.

Speaking of performance, the vehicle generates a total of 340hp and 369lb-ft of torque via an advanced 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This is a direct-injection unit and comes with a twin-scroll, low inertia turbocharger, dedicated cooling circuit, and new air intakes.

In terms of the interior, Jeepster Beach includes low-back bucket seats in red leather. There are numerous chrome components, a four-point safety cage, and tons of small exclusive details.

The 2021 Easter Jeep Safari Concept Lineup include Magento, Jeepster Beach, Red Bare, Orange Peelz, Farout, Wrangler Rubicon 392, and Top Dog

Jeep Magneto

Based on the Wrangler Rubicon, this is a fully capable BEV with enhanced rock-climbing force. Magneto is designed to be a zero-emission vehicle with a 4×4 setup that provides new levels of efficiency, performance, and customization.

Jeep Magneto benefits from a custom-built axial flux electric motor and a special e-motor, both connected to a six-speed manual gearbox. This combination contributes to a comfortable and pleasurable driving experience. The compact e-motor delivers up to 273lb-ft of torque and 285hp.

The battery packs deliver a combined power of 70kW/h and run on an 800-volt system. These are lithium-ion units distributed around the chassis – on pack replaces vehicle’s mid-ship fuel tank, another one is mounted opposite the fuel tank location, the third one can be found atop of the e-motor under the hood and the fourth one is mounted in the rear storage compartment.

In terms of exterior, the Magneto features a Bright White color with a Surf Blue accent and a heavy-duty performance hood with central scoop and exclusive decals. In the cabin, there’s a custom Royal Blue and Black Leather set of seats with Sapphire inserts and straps, and Surf Blue truck bed liner and Mopar slush mats.

Also, the Jeep Magneto is equipped with a JPP 2-inch lift kit, 17-inch Light Out Black metallic wheels with 35-inch mud-terrain tires, custom roll cage, Mopar Rock Rails, steel bumper, and a steel belly pan for better off-road capabilities.

New Golf R: a quick overview

New Golf R comes with quite impressive performance rates, measuring 320hp and 420-newton meters of torque. What helps distributing and controlling this massive output is the new 4MOTION AWD system with torque vectoring on the rear axle. Also, this is the first Golf that will be geared with 4MOTIOR with Performance Torque Vectoring system.

New R Performance Package

The latest Golf R can also be specified with an optional Performance Package upgrade which increases the top speed of 270km/h and adds a sexy and more prominent rear spoiler for extra downforce on the rear axle. Also included are the 19-inch wheels in the Estoril design and two selectable driving modes – Special and Drift.

More control for the driver

In both models, stock or R Performance, the accelerator pedal has been crafted in such a way that enhances the feel of control over the acceleration process. This contributes to more comfortable and pleasurable driving experience and also gives an advantage when the driver drifts on snow and ice, or even on asphalt. In both vehicle variants, the gearbox is fine-tuned and calibrated to ensure that the 420Nm of output keeps a relatively high rpm.

Also, for the first time since the introduction of DSG, the gearbox stays in manual mode if the driver has chosen so. The unwitting switching back to automatic mode is now a thing of the past. As it seems, this new tech approach is highly praised by professional racers who now benefit of more precise and secure control over the entire vehicle.

Lexus reveals first details of the new F SPORT Launch Edition

Lexus proudly unveils 2022 IS 500 F SPORT Performance Launch Edition. This is a limited run and only 500 vehicles will be produced.

The IS Launch Edition will be powered by a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 power unit that generates a total of 472hp at 7,100rpm and 395lb-ft of torque at 4,800rpm. Also, the Launch Edition features a Takumi interior with high-quality materials, including two-tone Black & Gray Ultrasuede, trimmed front and rear seats, door accents, and a central console.

Also, the heated leather steering wheel comes with a unique silver ash wood treatment with black F SPORT Performance badging, and a special serialized Launch Edition badge. Moreover, the F SPORT digital display comes with an exclusive software design for enhanced exclusivity.

As it comes to the interior, IS 500 Launch Edition proudly showcases exclusive 19-inch split-seven-spoke forged alloys and a special new body finish – Incognito.
