The Beauty and the Performer, Starring FXX K [VIDEO]

2015 Ferrari FXX K The FXX K was officially unveiled at the Finali Mondiali in Abu Dhabi and it is the result of the cooperative work by Ferrari’s GT and the GES racing divisions. This incredible and extreme model is built and available only for track use. It was especially forged with unseen aerodynamic and engine efficiency . Interesting fact is that this car won the first prize for design and not for its performance. Curious, right?

The Ferrari Styling Centre team has created an absolute masterpiece, in which every single line of the design serves not just for aesthetic purpose, but for boosting the performance. The crushing design is entirely a product of hand-made-work, personally done by the Ferrari engineers and aerodynamic specialists. Every single panel is greatly redesigned to bring an extra downforce, but without lowering the high standards of body aesthetics.

For instance, take a look at the put on top of vertical rear fins, that recall the tails of fighter panels. The fins are specially placed on the top wing, so it enchant the dynamic shape and aerodynamic abilities. And the LED stripes are definitely and eye-catcher. They replace the conventional headlights and broaden the front of the car. The lines add extra aggressive look, that, combined with the crushing design and looks brings us such a beauty of performance, that only the Ferrari team is able to deliver.

Hyundai will Gear Further Models With V-6 Twin-Turbo Engines

Hyundai Motor Co. decided to gear the monstrous Twin-Turbo V-6 powerplant to the Genesis sedan, that is part of the downsized and turbocharged engines. Actually, Dave Zuckowski, CEO of Hyundai Motor America, says, that the latest engine will be geared on the Genesis sedan in 2017 or even 2018 and will produce power of 420 hp (308 kW), with a 5.0-Liter Tau V-8, but with some weight-reduction upgrades.

But before the engine arrives, the Hyundai team will deal with even more downsized and turbocharged engines for its lineup in order to cut the emissions and to make further upgrades of the fuel consumption efficiency for the strict regulatory requirements, says Zuchowski.

The very first example for more economical engines is the 2016 Tucson model, that was revealed in NYIAS last week. The flexible crossover is geared with a turbocharged 1.6-Liter four cylinder, that is precisely built for the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

In his further explanations Zuchowski says, that the brand is going forward more broadly with the portfolio. And we are to expect smaller displacement with more use of the turbocharging system with further weight-loss upgrades. The first car with such an engine is expected to be on the market in 2017 or 2018.

There is even fine silk, that dresses up the interior. The door panels are also decorated with salt and pepper silk, that brings the feel of smoothness and luxury. As for the seats, there is fine grain Poltrona Frau, that is contrasting light-gray color.

Back to the door panels, the central part is covered with Zegna silk Jersey and covered with a diagonal pattern. The same material is used to cover the roof linings and sunshades. The sophisticated luxury finish tells a tale about two brands, that share together their passion for beauty and ellegance, that everyone should hear.

Peugeot Launches the FoodTruck – a Mobile Bistro

Peugeot unveils the Foodtruck: this restaurant on wheels will be unveiled at the Milan Design Week 2015, and after that the “truck” will be heading to the French Pavilion at the 2015 World’s Fair Expo. For the past two centuries, Peugeot has been creating wonderful designs, innovative technologies and now company’s team is back with the unique restaurant on wheels.

The Food Truck is compact and stylish, yet flexible, when it comes to space and width. The “Truck” can easily be expanded to its full size, to offer great experience outdoors and indoors. The Peugeot team makes sure everyone will get the most out of the experience and adds numerous extras and additions and there is even a recycling system, that offers great environment-friendly ride. On the inside, cooks will be dealing with lots of different kitchen attributes – there are grilling plates, 4 inductor burners and there is also a deep fryer. And when it comes to food, the Peugeot team made a vehicle, that is in 100% compliance with all standards of hygiene regulations.

There is even a chef, selected for the first culinary tenant at Lion and that is indeed chef Sven Chartier. This is believed to be the ideal pairing with the environment-friendly vehicle and a master chef, who believes , that good food is prepared with organic and ecological clean products.

Updated Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is the Next Big Thing to See at NYIAS

2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

Fifteen years after the debut of the first Prius, Toyota is now showing us the eighth hybrid in its range: the refreshed RAV4. It will offer versatility, capability and flexibility matched with and incredible fuel consumption efficiency. A promising model, the RAV4 Hybrid will be offered in two trim levels: XLE and Limited. Both of them are coming with Electronic On-Deman All-Wheel Drive System, 17-inch alloy wheels and color gamma with a total of six colors.

The gas version comes in four packs: LE, XLE, Limited and a revised SE. They will feature refreshed interior design with more dynamic appearance. The revised style additions include the LED trifecta, a rocker panel. For the gas versions there are some additional color finishes: Silver Sky Metallic, Black Currant Metallic, Electric Storm Blue.

A fact is that Toyota answers customers’ feedback and brings some technical additions to the interior. There is parking sonar, Smart Key, even a “Homelink” garage door opener, which are included for the standard and Limited packs. All of the models are equipped with SiriusXM Radio with a 3-month trial.

The RAV4 even includes the Bird’s Eye View Monitor. This is the first time a Toyota car is geared with four cameras, mounted on a different places on the car, so the driver and passengers could see objects that aren’t noticeable.

The SE grade features a sport suspension, which provides dynamic and fast-responsive handling. The model also includes: S-code pain design that offers three available exterior colors. The 2016 RAV4 will include the advanced safety system Toyota Safety Sense. Unfortunately, it will be available to U.S. clients only.

Hyundai Debuts the ENDURO Concept in Seoul

Hyundai makes a world debut of the 2016 concept “Enduro”, the urban crossover vehicle, at the 11th Seoul Motor Show. The concept car mixes the vision of a SUV vehicle and a rally motorcycle. The Enduro is specifically designed to meet the needs of modern people with an energetic and dynamic lifestyle.

The concept features Hyundai’s design grille, aluminum aero blade, which both bring the confident and overall aggressive look of the car. Additional carefully crafted SUV-styled fender brings additional feel of stability and confidence. The C-pillar are further upgraded for lower air collision, which, combined with the roof rack, bring overall style and aerodynamic upgrades. The rear is geared with an aluminum bumper spoiler and as in the front. The rear fender is also creating a visual effect of massiveness and confidence.

The interior shows the ambition of the crew, which is to make a stylish and comfortable driving place. And they surely succeeded. The Hyundai Advanced Design Team created a cabin, that mixes dynamics and style through interactive lines and details that remind the driver of the passion and pleasure of creating such a masterpiece. The whole Enduro cabin is especially designed to bring the driver a comfortable and unmatched feel of driving. The front panel contains horizontal and vertical elements that bring a feeling of endurance and dynamics.

Hyundai Advanced Design Team also showed the world their skills in adopting the advanced new-age technologies and incorporating them in the Enduro. For example, the door mirrors are replaced with cameras that connect to the front console. Other hi-tech gadgets include a remote control for the bottom menu positions and the “bottom knob” mode, that controls the air-conditioning system, heats or cools the cabin. In fact, the rear seats could be folded to bring you even bigger luggage space, which means extra flexibility and practicality.

Given all these facts, we are very sad that this car is only a concept. But maybe it is a sign for a future production model?

Hyundai Shows the Merciless RM15 Concept

2016 Hyundai RM15 Concept Hyundai Motor Company revealed the high-performance concept car, which is indeed the “RM15”. This is a lightweight coupe with a striking vision, that features an aluminum core structure, carbon-fiber plastics and further weight-loss tweaks that altogether reduce the overall weight with a total of 195 kg, which means the car itself weights 1,260kg. The accent focuses not just to the lightweight structure, but to the overall performance and further general upgrades and improvements.

The weight balance is precisely set to 43% front and 57% rear. The aerodynamics are further-upgraded to make a downforce of 24kg at 200 km/h. The engine is a special built Hyundai Motor Theta 2.0-Liter T-GDI, precisely placed ahead to the rear axle, so weight distribution is further improved. It brings 300 hp (220 kW) at 6,000 rpm. The RM15 comes with a six-speed manual transmission. And the crushing torque of 39kgm ensures the better acceleration time – the beauty goes from 0 to 100 km/h for 4.7 seconds.

An extra force and performance upgrades come from the integrated sub-frame and a WRC-based roll-cage. The firm and soft driving experience comes from the double-wishbone suspension that enables even faster response and improved handling performance. The RM15 is fitted with wonderful 19-inch mono block alloy wheels, geared with 235/35 R19 front tires and 265/35 R19 rear tires.

The body panels are named “Hybrid Lightweight Body Structure” and they provide even better carbon-fiber plastic structures.

Kia Premieres the Fresh New Looks and Styling of 2016 Optima

The redesigned Optima 2016 is definitely a symbol of the brand’s ever evolving successful model. The Optima is redesigned, yet recognizable and is geared with longer and wider chassis, three different engine models and the seven-speed Dual Clutch Transmission. The 2016 Optima comes with three engine choices, that balance between fuel consumption economy or the sporty variation. Generally you will be choosing between 2.4-Liter GDI four-cylinder, capable of producing 185 hp (136 kW) at a 6,000 rpm and the 2.0-Liter GDI turbo, which brings you 247 hp (182 kW) at 1,350 rpm. Both of the engines are specifically built to fit perfectly the six-speed automatic gearbox. The third engine, the 1.6Liter four-cylinder turbo, will be offered on the LX trim. It brings you 178 hp (131 kW) at 5,5000 rpm. It mates with a seven-speed DCT.

Mazda MX-5 Miata Club Debuts at NYIAS [VIDEO]

Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) introduced the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata Club at the New York International Auto Show (NYIAS). As we told you, the smaller and really light MX-5 comes with full speed with the equipped SKYACTIV Technology and the KODO-Soul of motion design. What is special about the 2016 MX-5 is that, the overall weight is greatly reduced to the 2, 332 lbs.

The standard pack, that the MX-5 is geared with includes MAZDA CONNECTIIM information system, seven inch touchscreen display, piano black side mirrors, seatback bars and a Bose audio system. There are additional sets, that include the BBS 17-inch lightweighted wheels, Brembo front braes and additional aerodynamic sides and rear bumper skirt.

For the North American market the roadster will come with compact LED headlights, Bluetooth phone, audio system and a SKYACTIV G 2.0Liter engine. The MX-5 will be offered with the standard manual or automatic SKUACTIV-MT gearbox. Additional extras will be further announced by Summer time.

As you know, the previous model, the 2015 RX is the best selling vehicle for the brand’s 26-year history. The 2015 RX recreated the meaning of luxury, just to be defined one more time with the almighty 2016 RX version.
