SKODA FABIA R5 Promises Even More Victories.

ŠKODA Fabia R5 made a sensation at its first race, when the ŠKODA team took home made a flawless race and took home the victory. The first race of the R5 was on the Šumava Klatovy Rally. Now, the car will be presented on the 34Tth GTI meetin at Wörthersee along with another three ŠKODA sports cars.

ŠKODA team have recreated the Fabia R5 to create ŠKODA R5 Combi show vehicle. The ride will be in green, white and black colors, mounted on 18-inch alloy wheels. You will recognize the sporty design instantly with the redesigned grille and powerful bumpers. The rally appearance is further boosted by the large front intakers and the mudguards and doorsills. The rear is instantly recognized by the huge spoiler and the wide exhaust pipe.

The engine, that comes with this beauty is the incredible and ultra-modern 1.6-Liter turbo petrol engine. The ŠKODA team will deal with all-wheel drive system and sequential five-speed gearbox. Lovely.

ŠKODA also decided to show the “original” Fabia R5 at Wörthersee. In fact , ŠKODA latest racing car celebrated world premiere at the end of April with an incredible victory at the Czech Rally Championship. Tamed by Jan Kopecky (CZ), the vehicle demonstrated an overall incredible road performance. As we told you, the R5 is based on the Fabia Super 2000 model, which is considered as ŠKODA’s most successful rally car in brand’s history.

The Indomitable G styling and performance enhancement pack for Mercedes-Benz G-wagen just comes out from the studio of Prindiville Design. The 30-piece body kit brings handcrafted military-grade large weave carbon fiber and there are even more surprises. Chevrolet 2016 Silverado 3500HD Demonstrates Further Refreshements

Chevy will expand the compressed gas line with the 2016 Silverado 3500HD Chassis Cab. This means, that customers will have the chance to drive the vehicle with CNG or gasoline. Bi-fuel will be available both in 2WD and 4WD systems. As you know, The Silverado 3500HD has big popularity in the work truck world and now Chevrolet brand is looking for ways to make it even more efficient.

The Southern California Gas Co. owns about 5,000 units and 22% of its vehicles are powered with natural gas. The utility has set a goal to make not only twenty percent, but the majority of its production vehicles powered on CNG by 2020 and expects, that the 3500HD will start the project.

In fact, the car has two fuel tanks. The first one, the 24.5 gallon CNG tank is located just behind the cab, while the second one, the 23.5 gasoline tank gives flexibility and confidence between the fill-ups. In fact, all the CNG fuel systems have five-year warranty and validation by Chevrolet.

As you know, Chevrolet was founded in 1911 in Detroit and developed to become one of the world’s largest vehicle brands. The brand is famous for its efficient engines and wonderful performance. Toyota RAV4 Will be Tamed by Ryan Millen Himself for the Upcoming 2WD-Open Class

Toyota showed the RAV4 rally vehicle at the Monster Energy Supercross Championship this weekend at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. The driver is Ryan Millen himself. As you know, Millen won the 2014 Baja 1000 in Toyota Tundra TRD Pro. Now he will drive the RAV4 at various stages. The RAV4 was unveiled between races to display pits throughout the event.

Despite the fact, that competing RAV4 in professional races is a rare sight, now Toyota‘s entry choice stopped on the RAV4. The car is geared with a stock transmission, a 2.5-Liter four-cylinder double-overhead cam engine, that produces 176 hp (129 kW) and172 pounds of torque. Millen’s team managed to reduce the overall weight of the vehicle with the amazing 500 pounds, while adding different roll cage, tires and suspension.

As you know, RAV4’s lighter design allows it to perform extremely well in desert beach or other track. And this is the reason why Toyota team chose this particular model for the races in America.

Ryan Millen is the son of the off-road legend Rod Millen and has been racing for Toyota since childhood. From racing for Ivan Stewart at nine-years old to to racing the FJ Cruiser in Baja 1000, he has proudly demonstrated professionalism and determination to what he likes the most. He will participate in numerous races, that include some of the West Series in America and he will be competiong in the 2WD stock class with the rally built RAV4.

Hyundai Sonata Celebrates 30th Anniversary!

Hyundai celebrates the 30th anniversary for the Sonata mid-size sedan. The vehicle has been first debuted in 1985 in Korea and since then plays important role in Hyundai’s growth and reputation. The brand has sold more than 7.3 million Sonata vehicles and since its debut the Sonata is one of the most loved and anticipated family vehicles all around the world. And when it comes to US customers, Sonata was first introduced in 1988 and marked one of Hyundai’s most important market expansions in brand’s history. And since the debut on American land, Hyundai has sold more than 2.3 million vehicles, that include alomost 80, 000 Sonata Hybrid units since 2011. And for the brand’s celebration we decided to show you different Sonata models, that have been demonstrated throughout all the 30 years of Sonata’s history.And here there are. All the Sonata generations:

1st Generation Sonata (1985)

The First Generation Sonata was built by in-house design teams and it started the Sonata legacy. Why? Because it sold more than 1 million units in Korea only. Impressive start for an impressive model.

2nd Generation Sonata (1988)

The Second Generation brings different features. The biggest one is the front-wheel drive. Unlike the 1st Generation, the 1988 version focuses on enhanced interior and luggage volume expansion. Other changes include the more organic and aerodynamic design. And for this model there is one interesting fact. This is the generation, that adopts the redesigned Hyundai logo, that was launched in 1991.

3rd Generation Sonata (1993)

1990s are a special decade. This is a decade of changes and embracing fresh ideas. Some of you might remember, that besides everything, that happened in the 90s, one of the most interesting changes was the embrace of digital technologies. And the Hyundai team saw wonderful possibility for brand’s development. The 3rd generation Sonata is geared with numerous advanced features, that include automatic side mirrors, anti-lock braking system and many more.

4th Generation Sonata (1998)

The 4th generation was the best-selling model in Korea from February 1999 to August 2000. This generation was equipped with impressive in-house engine and a Hyundai Intelligent Vehicle Electronic Control (HIVEC) transmission. It was also the highest-scoring sedan in the 2004 J.D. Power Initial Quality Survey in US.

5th Generation Sonata (2004)

This generation has the ambition to be a world-class mid-size sedan. It adopts European design theme and offers premium features and incredible drive experience. The 5th Generation brings incredible features and has wonderful media and customer feedback.

6th Generation Sonata (2009)

This Generation adopts the industry-leading Fluidic Sculpture design concept. It is muscular, beautiful and powerful. This Generation comes with great flexibility and power efficiency. This is by far the best-selling Hyundai model and the most recognizable one. In 2010 There was introduced a Hybrid model, based on the 6th Generation.

7th Generation Sonata (2014)

By far, this is the latest Generation. The vehicle is further upgraded and tuned to bring the well-know Fluidic Sculpture design and improved performance. Audi Announces Details for 2016 Audi TT and TTS Models

Audi announced details for the 2016 Audi TT lineup. The legendary vehicle comes with incredible design and character. The latest member of the TT family demonstrates innovative technologies and driver-focused high performance. Audi has always demonstrated incredible design, concept and features. We are definitely interested in what the latest TT has to offer. Let’s check out together.

Body and Design

The third generation TT model demonstrates bold and original concept with short overhang, broad wheel arches and more aggressive stance. The TT demonstrates full LED headlamps, flatter grille and sharp hood lines. In addition, the spoiler and the exhaust tailpipes remind of the first generation TT vehicles. The latest TT is also geared with 19-inch alloy wheels and 13.3 inch front brakes.

In addition to the muscular vision Audi team includes and wide variety of colors. There are a total of 10 body colors, that include the special TTS gammas: Daytona Gray and Sepang Blue. Both the TT and TTS models come with the well-known Alu-optic fuel cap with exposed bolts. And especially for the 2016 TTS model, there is a Mythos Black Exterior Pack, 19-inch five-arm facet design wheels, Piano Black inlays.

Interior

The HVAC controls eliminate the need of the dash console and the controls for the heated seats are integrated in the side air vent. There is an available Band & Olufsen Sound system, that brings 680 watts of power and 5.1 Surround Sound with a 14-channel amp and 12 speakers.

Technology additions

The 2016 TT model demonstrates a completely different way of driver interaction, than what we are used to see. One of the biggest changes is the incredible virtual cockpit. It replaces the traditional gauges and brings customizable driving experience. The special technology was unveiled at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show and includes an unique 12.3-inch high-resolution 3D Graphics display. Supported by the latest and greatest technology tweaks, the innovative cockpit generates incredible processing speed.

The 2016 Audi TT will also include the most advanced Audi Connect System, that comes with picture navigation, read-aloud headlines, social media connectivity and thousands of radio stations. The virtual cockpit is entirely controlled by the steering wheel buttons.

Powertrain and Performance

2016 Audi TT Coupe Roadster features a 2.0-Liter TFSI engine, that brings 220 hp (161 kW) and 258 lb-ft of torque. The acceleration is also noticable: the TT goes from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.3 for the coupe model and the roadster goes to the same speed for 5.6 seconds. The TTS Coupe model features 2.0-Liter TFSI engine with 292 hp ( 214 kW) and 280 lb-ft of torque and goes from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) for 4.6 seconds.

In fact, the all-wheel drive system could be fine tuned and adjusted by the driver, as long with the shift points, throttle responce and steering. The TTS model has and adjustable suspension system, that is tweaked with three special modes: dynamic, auto and comfort.

The 2016 TT will be available in coupe and roadster forms, while the TTS comes only in coupe form. All the 2016 TT and TTS models include the all-wheel drive and a six-speed dual clutch S tronic gearbox, that provides smooth and quick shifts.

2016 Seat Ibiza Is Ready for the Road!

Seat team has unveiled the latest Ibiza model at the Barcelona Motor Show. The youngest Ibiza member comes with innovative technologies, engine option and additional equipment. The Ibiza’s incredible design continues to be one of the vehicle’s most anticipated features, but along with it, the Seat team gave serious attention and to the hi-tech gadgets and connectivity options. let’s see what the latest Ibiza has to offer.

Exterior

Holden Releases Storm Special Edition Pack One More Time!

Holden has reissued the VF Commodore Storm Special Edition for all 2015 SV6 and SS sedan, ute and sportwagon body shapes. The well-known VF Storm is based on Australia’s Best Car winner, VF Commodore SV6 in addition to the SS model. Both vehicles have already demonstrated interesting list of features, that include Auto Park Assist, Rear View Camera with Reverse Traffic Alert and MyLink info system and 8-inch multimedia touch screen.

The VF Storm Special Edition pack includes high-quality components and gadgets like Satellite Navigation, front fog lights, alloy wheels. Holdon Executive Director Peter Keley says, that the 2015 VF Storm package will be very popular among Australian drivers. Peugeot 208 and BlueHDi Engines Set an Efficiency Record!

The 1.6-Liter BlueHDi 100 S&S PEUGEOT 208 has set a record for long-distance fuel consumption. The car has gone through 1,337.19 miles (2,152 km) with 9.45 gallons 43 liters) of Diesel. The average consumption was measured at 141.2 mpg. All the tests were done under the supervision of the UTAC. This test surely demonstrates the wonderful performance of the latest Euro6 BlueHDi Diesel engines, that bring more power with less consumption.

The record was set at the end of April, on the PEUGEOT test circuit in France under the strict standards, that come with the Union Technique de l’Automobile. In fact, the 208 model, that made the test was specified as a “Very Low Fuel Consumption” version. It comes with aerodynamic rear spoiler and ultra-low rolling resistance Michelin Energy Saver+ tires. All this, combined with the compact and light 208 model is the secret mixture behind the successfully done challenge. The Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), the BlueHDi technology one more time demonstrates high performance and low consumption.

“Ride of Your Life” Launches for Second Time!

A year ago Nissan brand started its popular “Ride of Your Life” marketing campaign. You might remember, that the project captured attention with stories of people, who were given an especially upgraded and tuned vehicle, just to find out, that this is a stock production Altima sedan car. This year “Ride of Your Life” is back and offers interactive consumer experience. Let see what Nissan team has to offer.

As you will see for yourself, the video below shows a group of customers at a local market, who have the chance to “unlock” a big box, where a team of professional racers expect the lucky guy, who can try out the car on a sports track immediately. The idea is to demonstrate, that the 2015 Nissan Altima is capable of conquer the sports track at full-throttle performance.

The filming of the video took place in Southern California. Once the car is “unlocked”, participants join the professional race team and go for a simulated race experience, where every one of the lucky customers can have a lap by themselves under the guidance of the professional driving team. Definitely a mall trip, that they will remember for a long time.

2016 Mercedes G550: 35 Years of Confidence and Tradition

Mercedes-Benz has been manufacturing the G-Class for more than 35 years. And for more than 35 years the legendary brand has upgraded and updated the off-roader. And the latest Geländewagen model is not an exception. The 2016 G550 comes even more powerful and more determined to rule over the road. Or, in case there is no road ahead, the 2016 G550 will gladly create one. Let us see what this tough guy has to offer.

To be honest, the list with features is as long, as the history of Geländewagen, but the most important change here is the engine. 2016 G550 comes with a revised 4.0-Liter twin-turbo V8, that produces a total of 416 hp (305 kW) and 450 pound-feet of torque. Impressive, right? There are also upgrades, done to the suspension system. The Benz team has fine-tuned the ESP ASR and ABS systems. Other changes are made on the visuals and style, fresh colors. And of course, Benz team offers different trims, so the 2016 G550 can be customized for every single customer.

But let us get back to the powerplant. The fresh 8-cylider engineer wonder is based on the Mercedes-AMG V8 series, but is further-tweaked, so it will fit perfectly on the G-lineup. Additional features include spontaneous response, that is possible, thanks to the two turbochargers, which are especially designed to fit between the cylinder banks. Engineers created this design in order to achieve optimal response, low emissions and overall energy consumption efficiency. In addition, the G500 has optional adaptive damping system with two available modes: Sport and Comfort.

In fact, the G350 comes with 18-inch five-spoke light-alloy wheels. On the other hand, the inside includes a wonderful instrument cluster, 11.4 multimedia display and redesigned pointers. And as said above, the 2016 lineup comes with additional colors. There are exclusive Color packs, that include Solar Beam, Tomato Red, Alien Green, Sunset Beam and Galactic Beam.
